Small intimate space, appears they roast their own beans. I got a cappuccino which was good but feel like it needed a little more punch, like that roast got a little lost in the milk. But overall very nice place and I’ll be back.

My favorite coffee shop in Asheville, especially for buying beans. Their espresso roast is my favorite. I wish they had some additional breakfast options but its not abnormal for breakfast foods to be an afterthought at great coffee houses.

Worst roasted beans Ive ever bought. I bought an espresso roast. The resulting brew was very watery and nearly tasteless. Had to toss a very expensive bag of beans. Very pretentious joint, very sad beans. I honestly dont know what other folks see in this place.

The most delicious cup of coffee we had in Asheville. Came here with the family, grabbed some tacos and chatted with the barrista. The barrista was totally cool, shared some of the roasting process with us and gave my partner a quick behind the scenes look at the place. We also got some banana bread and breakfast tacos! Finally, I took home a bag of beans for some home brewing :) great place, highly recommend!

We stopped in for a quick coffee and muffin. The gorgeous chocolatey coffee smell hits you before you even open the door. It felt like an authentic Asheville experience. The gentleman who made our coffee was incredibly accommodating and kind, I really didnt experience the surliness others mentioned in their reviews. This will be a must-stop when we return to Asheville.

I bought a coffee with notes of chocolate that was pretty good. There isnt much space to sit inside because the majority of the interior is used for their workspace, which is cool to see. The staff was excited and knowledgeable about their products, quality, and methods, which I love to see.

Really cool craft coffee roaster in a funky neighborhood. They seem to be a bit of a start up, learning as they go. The coffee is well roasted, and they have both unique blends as well as single origin varietals. The coffee service is decent, and their espresso shots are on point. The one thing I wish they did was create more of a story about the coffees on their labels (like offering tasting notes, elevation, processing, etc.). Like I said, they seem like a new-ish coffee roaster, and seem very aware and knowledgeable about creating a great product.

Where do I start? He didnt know the coffee he ordered to roast next week, so how do you plan what roast you will be doing next week? I love coffee, more than just about anything, but he uses cheap filters (bleached) for his pour over and Combined with the above... Well I guess I might have some from up the street....

Stopped by on a Thursday, 30 minutes before closing. The barista was extremely friendly and helped me select 1 pound of roasted beans. The location was easy to find, with parking available right next to the front door. the decor was modern and tasteful.I bought 1 pound of the Peru medium-dark roast. I brewed it the following morning and the coffee tasted excellent. That being said, coffee flavors are a personal preference, so buy to your tastes, not mine! The beans looked like good quality, no broken pieces and a consistent color.I would recommend this place if you are looking to buy roasted coffee! I have not tried their brewed coffee yet, so I will save that review for another time.

Delicious!!! First tried their coffee at Biscuit Head - both the Ethiopian blend and a dark roast, both fantastic. Loved it so much we had to make a trip to the Depot St location for a bag to bring home. Great double lattes in-house, and the baked goods are tasty (banana bread & pumpkin bread are the bomb). Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff. The other locations dont have the ability to grind up the beans for you (but they do sell the whole beans), so we were glad we went to this location as we dont have a coffee grinder! Brewed some this morning and it tastes just as delicious at home. Cant wait to try some of the other coffee blends!

Totally welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was offered a sample of this special, nitro induced, cold brew. It was certainly interesting. I mean I can see the draw because it was smooth but it was a bit to bitter at the onset. Anyway, I would have given 5 stars but the seating is way uncomfortable. They have these tiny, metal stools that just wont work for long term chilling. At least not beneath my big booty. Too bad because the vibe, people and the music really made me want to stay.

After going to several of the coffee tasting events, I have gained a new interest and learned quite a bit about the origins and subtle flavors of the beans through the experience of the knowledgeable staff here. I like the industrial setting of the Depot street location and that you can actually see the roasting in progress while trying various selections. I would recommend this venue for ordering drinks, sitting inside to enjoy, as well as a source for fresh roasted beans by the pounds.
