Excellent coffee!! The best!! And the lady working behind the counter (I believe her name is Sarah) is wonderful!!! She always gets my order just right and is very friendly!! Hopefully she will stay with Bean Werks for a very long time!!

Lauren is a wonderful and nice barista who deserves a big raise! She was so helpful and gracious to everyone, even when working alone against a big line of customers. She was very attentive to every guest and made double sure that everyone was satisfied, while still being efficient and polite. The coffee here is great and the atmosphere is very nice. I really like Bean Werks and I will certainly be back here the next time Im in Asheville!

Jessica “owns” this place! So personable and makes this place pop with warm humanity. Cozy atmosphere, great coffee and a few places to sit. Bustling with in-and-out customers. So happy to have found this little Bean Werks that’s been around for 25 years! Love the music in the background.

Nice friendly barista that suggested the Italian Soda with cream. It was delicious and I will definitely be back for more.

Their iced coffee is hands down the best in town! I love that they have coffee for whatever I need: wholebean, ground, or ready made.

Cool little coffee vendor with almost too many choices! Staff seemed knowledgeable and steered me to a very nice brew. Parking is a bit dicey, but if you are a coffee connoisseur you will be rewarded for your efforts just smelling the aromas at at Bean Werks.

The coffee is awesome but i when i order a 20 oz hot chai they only give me 10 oz of beverage (i poured to measure it). the shape of the 20 oz cup is a cylinder with a widening top, so leaving out the top third when you fill it up accounts for half of the volume. not to mention you shouldn’t be filling a beverage only 2/3 full to begin with? ive been spending about $18/day here but im just going to start making my own at home

First of all. The coffee is so low quality. It probably only tastes slightly edible because they add a ton of terrible sweeteners and chemicals. The owner is a huge creep, hits on minors and treats his employees in a disgusting way. There’s no reason for anyone to go here when there’s like five other places to get coffee around it. Do not go here.

Ive learned so much about coffee tasting and my personal preferences from talking with stephanie over the last year Ive been getting coffee here. She knows her stuff and can make the classics perfectly! My mother loves the dark side blend and Im partial to the south american beans but steph is turning me on to the African and SE Asian beans as well. This is the largest variety of locally roasted beans in town. Give them a try and find your favorite bean.

...it was ok. maybe we were there on a bad morning. the girl working was not very nice and the coffees we had wae mediocre at best. to be honest the coffee across the st. at the gas station was as good and only 1.50

Great coffee, Great service!They have super large variety of coffees, many different sources and roasts to cover the whole gamut. When you walk into the store the good smell just is amazing.I think its the best coffee in Asheville, and Ive tried many places.Also same large variety of teas, though Im not a tea drinker.The baristas there make everyone feel welcome. They are very knowledgeable and either make helpful recommendations if customers arent sure what they want, or match exactly what specific thing a customer asks for. After I had gone there only a few times, the baristas always remember not just what I order, but every little nuance of how I like it prepared.

Stopped by after grocery shopping at West Village Market- great location to be in! I had a perfectly made lavender rose oat milk latte, and took a slice of nana read and pumpkin muffin to go. Friendly barista and great selection of teas and latter syrup flavors 👍🏾 Price was also good, total was $14 for everything and my drink was a large ☀️

Their Cubano coffee is SOOO good!!! I am not a coffee person but loved what I got here! had the cuban coffee on my trip to Asheville in July, and was in town again today and both me and my husband were excited to try it again today, unfortunately google said it closes at 3, so we missed it :(.. but on our next trip for sure! The Granny’s cake they had was also very good.

Nice vibe. Good tunes. I’m not a coffee aficionado, but I Loved the chai latte. A good place to journal.

Excellent location to beat the Starbucks Corp. onslaught. Dive brew joint kind of vibes with a lovely view of the sidewalk and West Ashevillestreet life. Stephanie absolutely nailed my oatmilk cappuccino. Its always a joy to buy from an establishment and a barista that knows what theyre doing.

Friendly, and delicious strong coffee

Been meaning to write this for a while and finally got the chance. Bean Werks is a town favorite. Cookies N Cream Classic Smoothie mix is perfection, great service with a fresh, wide variety of coffee to choose from.

Absolutely delicious coffee and very friendly staff. The coffee is bold and strong and their flavors are very nice. This place is small, but it is cozy. Several people came in to get coffee to-go and buy coffee beans while we were enjoying ours. Its awful to try and find parking, but it is definitely worth it!

Theyve got some good custom blends. We love one called black widow. There is a black silk that is also good. Lots of blends. Bad location. Traffic close, parking rarely available.Upside, you can have it shipped to avoid the trip. Call and ask about it.

Best Americano I’ve ever had! Jess and Taylor were great, and very helpful, even offering a way to “customize” my Americano, and it was a great suggestion. Cool little coffee shop with great options and nice little seating area. Got our drinks made super fast.

Staff is great and coffee rocks but the management there are terrible. Would go elsewhere just based off that.

Coffee roasted on site -- right by the front door. Excellent, broad selection, including fair trade and organic. Large selection of teas as well. Friendly, helpful staff. Frequent buyers program. Not much space for sitting, but do have brewed coffee for sale or sample.

This place smells as good as the service is!! They were super happy to talk about their roasts, the drinks were great, and it was nice watching the beans roast. Just remember to take cash with you when you go! They dont take cards, but its worth it to make sure you have the cash to go!

Walked past the door and was practically drug in my my nose! The place smelled so nice, and my drink was wonderful. They do need to let people know its cash only before preparing the drinks. They have a sign posted, but anyone who works in the service industry knows most folks dont read.

This is my favorite coffee spot in Asheville; founders of Black Widow and many other popular roasts. I particularly love their cafe con leche but with half sugar - so, so, yummy.

Really good coffee. The only down side is thats its cash only. Also parking in that part of town is lousy.

Terrible service. I went there to get a coffee for myself but the guy kept trying to sell my husband a drink even tough he said many times he didn`t want anything. Then when I went to pay for my coffee he tells me they only accept cash. I didn`t know that and I didn`t have any cash with me, just my card. If I knew in advance I would understand his reaction but he didn`t tell us prior to preparing the drink that they only accept cash.
