My absolute fave store in Asheville. Anything in this store would cost 10 times more in NY, LA or on Miami Beach. Awesome team of artists that will custom design with you just anything you want. Evetytime my friends come in from anywhere I bring them in.

Nice clothes, I stopped in to get something for my friend. The lady working was kind of impolite and acted like I didnt belong there or at least it felt that way. I got the item I was asked to get without much trouble finding it. I would go back if asked but not on my own. I didnt feel welcome and all I wanted was to get a gift for a friend.Edit: the owner has responded that I looked stressed. I was looking at a picture of the stores products on a phone and asked if they had two designs. I dont know how that comes across as stressed. I was in a good mood and feeling fine. Trying to put some kind of blame on a customer leaving an honest, constructive review about employee behavior is unprofessional. Feel free to read the hundreds of reviews Ive written, its hard to get a bad one.. Royal peasantry was the least welcoming place I have been on the east coast.I said everything turned out fine in the original review but your response makes me feel otherwise.

All I can say is...WOW! This was a one-of-a-kind clothing shop! I love the style of the clothes...steampunk meets Mad Max meets tribal! Each piece was truly unique, offering a variety of textures, colors and lengths. They had racks full of beautiful clothes, accessories, purses, and hats! Most of their clothing ranges anywhere from $40-$300+. They do have a couple of sale racks, and I was able to find a shirt for $25. The girl working at the front was very friendly and helpful. This was a very enjoyable experience, and I will stop again next time I am up this way.

This store was a treat to stumble upon! There is seriously no other store like this in the world. I loved the uniqueness in style and how it definitely welcomed a sense of individualism, art, and true personal expression. The staff was humble, friendly, and was happy to recommend places for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary while in town. We will be returning if we ever again find ourselves in Asheville!

Best place to shop - there is something for everyone. The stylists that work there are amazing, non-judgemental, you could be a corporate CEO and have fun finding something in this store. Put your money here instead anthro the big conglomerate.
