I love rocket fizz. The mystery bags are where it’s at, even in the small one, you get a significant amount of candy and a soda for $10. It could take you weeks to try every type of soda they have and they have a great assortment of candy as well. Staff was very vigilant about mask mandate which I heavily appreciate - staff was also very friendly.

Definitely a candy shop that you must stop into. Great place for throw back candy’s and drinks. Tons of interesting flavors.

Huge variety of candy and soda. Went here to find some specific candy for a treasure chest themed birthday party for my son and they had exactly what I needed! Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. They also said if I couldnt find what I was looking for, they can order special requests! Will definitely be coming here again!

Its a very fascinating novelty, to have one business dedicated entirely to sodas of nearly every brand in existence, with certain specialty candies as well as American memorabilia on display and on sale (mostly posters). Does it have EVERY soda brand? No, but if you take the time to stop off and get a non-alcoholic carbonated beverage, you may discover theres at least one brand you havent heard of, and several flavors of that brand worth sampling.

I absolutely loved this place! The owners are SO. NICE!! You can tel they genuinely enjoy what they do. Their place has an incredible selection of craft sodas and virtually any flavor candy you can think of. Anyone who gives or gave this place less than 5 stars is a clown!

Very eclectic, but my favorite feature was the specialty taffy and soda. They perfectly nailed dozens of flavors I would have never imagined a company could replicate.

Selection was amazing as always but what really made our visit there special was Jean’s kindness and friendly personality! She was a ton of help in finding what we needed and while I was looking around I consistently saw her going above and beyond with each guest. The candy selection is never-ending, and includes many older, fun varieties! These people and this place is great! Must see when in Asheville!

You could try a different flavor every day here for a year and still not taste everything they offer! The owner is very nice and helpful. We stopped here while visiting and fell in love with the place. I have now tried 5 of the soda flavors and all of them were on point with flavor. I would be able to tell you what it was supposed to taste like without even looking at the label.

Went in for a soda and an older bald employee interrupted the 16y-o cashier from completing the transaction to demean and belittle him about his work. It was so embarrassing for the kid he actually cried. When I spoke up for the kid the old man said I must have escaped from an Insane asylum. Very disrespectful and incredibly rude. So sad fro the poor boy.

Im a vintage candy fanatic. Especially those old school Chuckles. Saw a post about Rocket Fizz on Facebook. So I had to check it out. My kids, and I love this place!. The prices are a little steep. You might come out cheaper by going to Amazon. But if you cant wait Rocket Fizz is THE PLACE!!!!.

Its like stepping back in time. You can buy one piece of candy / small bag for $6.00 or so. They also have sugar-free candy & drinks. Drinks are a little high. But you can 4 & get a discount. People are always super nice ! 😍😍

We drove out of our way to visit, because my son wanted to get Pucker Powder. It is awesome! They carry over 500 types of sodas, plus a fantastic selection of candy. The customer service was fantastic, and we left there very happy.

Great candy and soda store. These guys search out hard to find sodas, and know a lot about them. Take the time to ask them about what you are interested in, or ask them about what they are interested in. They are very knowledgeable and very helpful. So far, every suggestion had been delicious! These guys are awesome! Wildly different selections of sodas and candy. I like the prickly pear or the watermelon sodas the best. They can help with flavors and are very knowledgeable and welcoming.

I got 24 sodas here a while back and it was amazing the employees helped me decide which sodas to get and i had an amazing experience buying, and trying the sodas. especially. because i am in love with soda and candy. and me and my gf went back a couple weeks ago and got 2 big bags each of taffy. was amazing. i am so happy for this place

Amazing!! Definitely worth the almost 2 hour drive from my home town. They had so many kinds of candy, including types Ive never seen before. The store was full of different sodas in wacky flavours. I tried the pickle soda and it definitely lived up to its name. They should open a store in Greenville, Id be there all the time!

They had every candy imaginable even from over seas a little pricey. And the number of different flavored sodas was crazy.

Tons and tons of specialty sodas and hard-to-find candies in this store. Very clean. The owners greeted each customer that came into the store while I was there and took the time to ask if any of them needed assistance with anything. Very friendly atmosphere. I will be back!

Omg. I heard about this candy store and viewed some pictures online but nothing is quite like actually going in. I almost missed it while walking by but its so colorful inside. They hawlve every soda and candy you could ask for and I really liked the bulk taffy sections some of the flavors Ive never even heard of! Well worth the money and the options you are given. Definitely worth a visit to anyone living or visiting in Asheville.

If you imagine it, they have a soda for it. This store is VERY welcoming and has a wide selection. They also sell awesome posters at a great price! Their candy is also priced quite well too! Great store, I cant think of anything wrong with it.

A decent chain store that you find in most tourist cities. Unfortunately this location changed ownership to some foul individuals who can often be overheard making racist remarks about customers, downing their own employee who has a chronic illness, and other types of harassment. Do not let the candies, drinks, and sweet treats confuse you about the sour nature of the people you put money in the pockets of by purchasing from this store.

LOVE this place!! Definitely a fantastic addition 2 downtown. They sell PURE CANE SUGAR sodas, a great assortment of sour candies & a large array of fabulous taffy!

Unbelievable selection of candies! Found some from my childhood! Every kind of candy you can think of. Great little place to take the entire family. Fun store to browse. Wonderful selection of soft drinks. Many I have never even heard of, with flavors I could only have dreamed of. I must go back and try them all! Make sure you visit this great little store in downtown Asheville!

We have a Rocket Fizz in our town that we visit weekly, so when we were looking for a sweet snack one night on vacation, we stopped in to this location. While we were there, I noticed they were still displaying Christmas and Valentines candy in April. Alright. We made our selections and payed. Later that night when started to eat my peanut butter Snickers, it tasted wrong and I couldnt even bite through the cookie layer at the bottom. The wrapper revealed its best by date was June 2017, ten months ago. My husbands soda was also four months part date. You have one job guys. Dont overpay for expired candy.

Not a bad store by any stretch. Its got that very touristy feel, so it fits in well in this location. They have a few hundred different kinds of pop to buy, as well as lots of candy from around the world.

We cannot say enough about our experience today at Rocket Fizz, Asheville!Not only is this store in a fantastic and totally cool location but they welcomed us and our pups with genuine smiles and love!Our corgis, Panda and Miss Swish were happy as could be to relax in the AC, pose for pictures and watch the activities. They may have even enjoyed a wiff or two of some peanut butter candies!Do yourself a favor and make Rocket Fizz, Asheville a must do stop!We left with our own big smiles, tshirts, nostalgic signs and yes....CANDY AND SODA!Go see this lovely family launching in this new adventure! If you came to Asheville to check out Ashevilles breweries but dont want to leave the kids empty-handed, this be the place. Theyre wall to wall soda, from safe ( dozens of root beer choices, for example) to mustard and bacon soda. Get the kids a sixer and a handful of candy.
