This is undoubtedly the best B&N Ive ever been to. Not only is it enormous, but the entire staff was just.... WOW. Whoever is managing this location has an incredible team. Im pretty sure we were acknowledged by every single associate on shift. They were friendly and eager to help. The selection is massive. This is my go to spot from now on.

Huge store with a ton to choose from. Theyre very well organized and the way they changed the store around since I last visited made it even easier to find everything. They almost always have items on sale or clearance, so theres always some really good deals here. Also a nice little cafe in the bottom floor to sit and read or just have a coffee. Ive been coming here since before they moved into the mall and theyve only been improving since.

Big and ample bookstore. Great staff. Coffee was great and the childrens section was great.

Got a super nice book here! the bargain bin is nice and well priced for a mainline book store, though everything else is a tad expensive like the rest of the mall. i liked our cashier- He was trans like me, and very chill. got a book called 1000 words to expand your vocabulary, which is so far proving very useful as a writer. they also had a book that was about political history in 100 quotes, going back to the egyptians. good atmosphere, clean, all that. i heavily recommend shopping clearance though.

Went as part of a birthday event. Love the enthusiasm of kids and books, other products too; toys, games, stationary products. Could spend all day here, Starbucks can accommodate any gnosh needs.

Great place to relax and browse books and sit with a cup of coffee. Or of course meet new people. This place might be better than going to a bar or church for meeting new people and is a great little social spot.

I absolutely love this Barnes and Noble. Of all the books stores Ive been to, this is my favorite one. The selection is fantastic and the atmosphere is top notch. Great place to pick a book out and start reading enough to realize that you are going to take it home with you.

Someone needs to be trained in customer service!I usually have a fantastic experience with the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble. This time was not a great experience at all. It took them 5 minutes before they even acknowledged me. I could understand if they had a bunch of online orders currently and if they would have immediately acknowledged me and said, it will be just a few minutes. However, at that particular time this was not the case, they actually had to get done with their personal conversation before they acknowledged me and finally when I was acknowledged, I was told that then that it would be a second before they could help me. That’s not being customer service minded.Evelyn took my order and she was extremely rude. I asked her two questions regarding the pumpkin spice and each time she seemed annoyed that I asked her?I paid for my order and when I received it, I realized that an item was not in the bag, so I turned right back around to inform them, again they refused to acknowledge me. I had to stand in line again just to be acknowledged. By the time I received the missing item, my drink was watered down. On top of it, Evelyn kept slamming the door to the small oven. I don’t know if the oven was broken or glitchy and I am no tech but I don’t see how slamming that oven every 15 seconds would fix it? It was pretty obvious that she was not happy or having a bad day. I didn’t see the other girls name tag that was making the drinks but she was just as bad for no acknowledgement. I’ve worked in retail for years. I take no pleasure in writing this bc I understand that everyone’s short staffed currently but as the old phrase goes, “if these girls can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen”.

I bought a book and am currently reading it to a certain page where it will join the ranks of certain page books. Reminds myself do not hit on cute book guys while they are at work its unfair and they are at work they have to be nice... So dont put nice folk in compromising spots. While they are making money. See guys? It goes both ways. Yay books.

One of the best Barnes and noble i have been in. Had a great selection of limited edition Bicycle playing cards. And all the books my wife wanted for Christmas . Do note that there will be social distancing so the check out will be longer waits, but plenty of staff to help with tour needs!

I like this Barnes & Noble the only thing I have against it is the fact that act that they never have any gunpla in stock. I can literally find something for everybody there except me.

I had a great experience, within a minute of me walking in into the building, elder man (employee) approached us and asked if we needed any help. He knew exactly what books I wanted and walked me to them. I wish I asked him for his name. He was outstanding! Thank you!

They had a meet and greet with Curious George for the kids! It was an absolutely amazing time they had a reading of Curious George day at the library, pictures and puppet making! It’s great to have places that creates environments that encourage our kids to read.

Coffee counter is slow and just ok but the book store is amazing

Great store. It is the two floor design with childrens upstairs and everything else on first floor. Starbucks coffee is fairly large. A large selection on magazines, books, audio, etc. The staff was very helpful as I was looking for a specific book and couldnt remember the title. They figured it out and pointed me in the right direction. They also carry nook products, stationary and calendars. If this review was helpful please like.

Located at Asheville mall. This store has two levels of books. The staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and were looking for a particular type of book. The employee who helped us was courteous and helpful. They didnt carry the book we were interested in, but they can order books for you. If this was helpful, please hit the thumbs up like.

Its a bookstore one of the last. I really enjoy going there because its just fun and the upstairs has lots of games and interesting books. The downstairs is mostly blah.

Ive always liked Barnes and Noble you can find a wide variety of because. Stuff from pop culture such as manga and other comics as well as classics such as To Kill a Mockingbird Bird and Treasure Island. One of my favorite things about this specific location is that it has a Starbucks inside, great for buying a coffee or hot chocolate sitting down and enjoying a good book.

I love Barnes and Nobles! I bought some of their study guides for classes Ive taken and will take next semester. Everyone was wearing a mask and social distancing. The gentleman that rang up my study guides was very kind and discussed how their book buying process works. Theyre doing well during the pandemic and I couldnt be happier.

This is one of the best Barnes & Noble bookstores Ive been to. I love it that it has two full stories of books and my husband I spent like an hour and a half in here just looking at everything and really enjoying our visit here.

Great book store for adults & kids!

Its sad but this store is so understaffed, they couldnt find anyone to make a cogent case for the $200 Nook I came to buy. I bought it anyway knowing staffing issues are widedpread.

They keep moving things around which makes it hard to find what you’re looking for, and the search computers are no longer available so you have to track someone down to find what you’re looking for.

Even if you have been to a lot of bookstores and/ or Barnes and Noble stores, this one is well worth a visit. It is one of the biggest Barnes & Noble stores. It has two stories, with big, giant windows across the entire front with entrances directly from outside as well as from the mall. Sadly, they didnt have the most current magazines on display. The employee I asked said they were all in the back in boxes and they hadnt gotten to them yet. Overall a nice store though.

It was nice, the guy up front was polite and pointed us in the direction we needed. So did the woman upstairs, she was very energetic and fast showing us where the exact book is.

This store has all you need if your a reader! They knew exactly what I wanted and they knew each author and book I asked about and where to find them in the store. Also, had great feedback on each book I asked about. And no one can beat their prices either.

A huge store, I could spend all day in there. Theres a large assortment of books, magazines, toys, games, and activity sets. There literally something for EVERYONE.

Tgen best part is that it had a Starbucks in side and the starbucks store on down is always so busy. So i sneak in I there and not have to fight the big one.

A very large Barnes and Noble especially for it being part of the mall. I dont like that the childrens books are up the escalator... They should have them downstairs. Thats why they list one star.

I really enjoy Barnes & Noble bookstores. The provide a soda array of reading topics. The team of employees really respect and help the customers. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A vastly better experience than using internet stores or sellers.

It was great! My daughter got to meet her favorite author and get his signature. He told her he was impressed that she had read all of his books. So that was neat. It was very clean, and they had a huge selection of books and other things. Starbucks inside, so you cant beat that. 😁 Overall it was a good experience. I recommend, if you are in the area, that you check it out.
