I came to this location to get my battery tested. I asked a young woman for assistance but the portable battery tester was malfunctioning. She went back into the store to ask for assistance from men that were working in the back of the store. One gentleman came out after several minutes of waiting, looked out the store window and saw it was raining and walked back slowly to the back of the store. More waiting. Finally another female employee stated I’ll do it, I told her don’t bother, I’ll take my business down Patton Ave to Advance Auto. She stated “We’ll take care of you” I told her it’s not her, but even though I know about staff shortages, but I heard a few men talking in the back of the store. My thing is this…. I needed assistance, the clerk asked for help, and though help was there, it didn’t come, I left. I felt as a customer, I should be helped, I wasn’t or I got tired of the awkward waiting.

When I tell you your best employees are working tonight I mean it. Amazing. Wish I got their names. So helpful and kind. Definitely a shame. The employee who helped me was excellent. His partner is who made me decide probably not to back again: Mask signs everywhere, 6 foot distancing signs everywhere, my guy is masked. His partner probably about 3 feet from each of us NO MASK...not even any sign of a mask around his neck, sticking out of his shirt pocket. Says a lot on what they think of their customers, much less their fellow coworkers!

I will not pay for a part to be shipped in before I see that its the right part or not(yall aint perfect).. Cause then you have to go through the hassle that if its not the right part waiting 7-10 business days before you can even get your money back..I will pay when I see that its the right part and not beforehand... Just lost my business....😒😳
First of all; every person on the clock was pleasant and polite from stepping in the door, to stepping out of the door.We were fortunate enough to have Tina as our guest services representative. She was answering call after call with the same genuine demeanor even before helping my Father & I. She even had patience with his hearing difficulties which was nice for my Pop. Both her and another gentleman had time for recent guests at the same time of assisting other guests. Its really refreshing to get out during times like this and people still display their kindness and great attitude. All around good time and Im leaving a review, because its the least we can do as consumers. Thanks!

My friends and I were enjoying a nice cruise up the blue ridge parkway to visit Mt. Mitchell this weekend. All of the sudden, with a clunk and fling, something exited the engine bay. My heart sank as I could smell rubber burning and thought, yeah we probably needed whatever that was. We made our way to the side of the road and stopped the engine.The serpentine tensioner pulley has just grenaded itself, and I felt like the guys on my favorite show Roadkill Garage. It’s a busy holiday weekend on the BRP and we just found ourselves in a major pinch an hour from town. I called a few auto parts stores and eventually found the part in stock at this AutoZone location. They were the only store in town with the tensioner in stock and even had a new belt on hand. The gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful verifying the parts and, after speaking with his manager, offered to bring us the parts and tools to swap it out!!!!! They didn’t ask for a delivery fee or anything, just had to pay for the parts over the phone.Wow!!!! I mean seriously I’ve never been hooked up this big before in my life. We were facing an early end to our day, and a long wait for tow or hitch to town and back to get the part. Evan drove over an hour to come out with the parts, tools and a helping hand to get us back on the road. We had the new assembly in and got back on the road shortly after. We even had time to continue up to Mt. Mitchell and see the views and hike some trails.I REALLY can’t thank this crew enough. Turned a crummy situation into the highlight of our trip- confirming that sometimes people will go out of their way to help each other out. Truly above and beyond, exceeding all of my expectations. Give these guys/gals your business, they take it seriously.

Neither of the two employees working wore a mask while I was in the store this evening. The cashier, in a black coat with his blue mask around his chin rather than his mouth and nose, was very rude to a Hispanic customer in line in front of me. Then this same employee then told me he wouldnt be stopped by COVID and wouldnt be living in a bubble as he rang up my purchase. I felt unsafe with the lack of COVID safety precautions; wearing a mask and limiting customer/employee exposure is a life-saving measure. I will not be returning to this location.

I walked into a empty store with no employees inside. Then when finding the only employee on duty I was clearly ignored, waited patiently, was brushed off, then waited for 20 minutes patiently...I finally went outside to ask a question and get an update as to what was going on after being cut off by a customer and the employee, again. Other customers were taken care of that walked in. I decided to leave the establishment. Disappointed on the treatment. Lost a local customer. Hope for better professionalism and communication in this storefront. It was an emergancy.

The staff seemed a little preoccupied even though there were three of them and only one customer when I arrived, and I was forced to wait a few moment to be seen, but when I was the staff was polite and in full uniform. They seemed knowledgeable and the store was organized and clean. Over all it was a good experience and I would recommend visiting.

Pretty alright prices, helpful and knowledgeable staff, decent selection, fairly clean, nothing too special. Not the worst auto parts store Ive been to, not the best.Main con is that this place doesnt offer the kind of service that Advance Auto Parts does, with all the free installation and testing of most things, loaning you tools, employees going out of their way to help you etc. But its not bad by any stretch, if you just want to grab some oil or windshield wipers or something its as good as anywhere.

Quick service but could trim brush to reveal that there are speed bumps. There are signs but you cannot see them until you are already on one. I have no problem with a place having this but if this is your first time, your car first not appreciate it even if you are not going fast.

Today I was picking up items from this autozone that was ordered back on July 1st. Worker Sam came out to put the huge boxes into my van. I told him to take the boxes out of the trunk (TRUNK TOO SMALL) so I can put the seats down so they could fit into my van. He left and said he will be back. Been waiting outside, crazy hot and Im pregnant on my last month. Also 3 young children in the car and aunt waiting. I got really disappointed because he took too long. So I went inside and see him helping other customer. What?! Is he kidding me? Am I supposed to pick up the boxes myself?! I asked another worker to come put the boxes into my van. And thats when this Sam states I told you I will be back, he also said he had to go in because the store is full of customers. Wow, then maybe I should wait till the end when store closes and no customers are left.

My local AutoZone seems to have damn near everything I could ask for...if they dont have it theyll get it there in a day. It may be that theres a bunch of old timers there who actually know vehicles & lawnmowers, but theres guys are great
Id definitely recommend this place to a friend. I went there today and got a replacement battery for my Volkswagen. Turned out it was the wrong battery so I took it back and got the right one. I mentioned that I was going to have to get an Uber home and the lady at the register was nice enough to drive me home.
Had to return a battery that had already been returned once and was causing some issues on the computer and they got there it and where fast and helpful much better then the one in candler

The manager Michael at AutoZone in Asheville help me find a park that no other parts companies like OReilly or bless their heart Advanced offer OReilly could not even offer the part at suggested I go to a Dodge dealership Advanced ordered the part but then due to having 20 year old people running their business they could not get things right I drove another 12 miles to AutoZone where Im at Michael and guess what Michael had the part on the Shelf so Im giving him a 5-star rating because not only was he completely on top of his job but he was a nice guy so somebody should let him know and recognize that you have a great manager in the store my two cents

Ive always been an Autozone man. Every time I need something they either have it or can get it no later than the next day! Ive had them get my parts delivered from another branch to the one im at within 10 minutes!This branch is not only no exception, but they have gone far beyond my expectations! Everything from allowing me to use tools free of charge to personally helping me replace a faulty part! How many employees at ANY other auto parts store will do that? In my 37 years this was a first!I was already a lifelong autozone customer. Not only was I reassured of this, but now Ill be going to this branch exclusively! I could go on and on about the staff and their competency. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place and thr other autozone in the area have no idea what there doing and talking about all they know how is to pull part numbers and most the time its incorrect thats 5 times in 2 weeks I have been given the wrong part for my car. Its very frustrating and inconvient for me to drive 25 min there and 25 back home to realize I need to turn around and ask for the right part. Get it together autozone or ill find myself going to dealership to get what I need

Save yourself some time and go to Advance down the road. I came here trying to remove my battery and buy a new one, but my terminal was really rusted and frozen. They basically just looked at me like I was crazy and offered zero help. I drove down to Advance and they had it out and a new one in within 15 min. Never going to Autozone again...
