Scott is an honest, fair and trustworthy mechanic and business man. I have bought 3 scoters and had a total of 6 in my life. Hes my mechanic and my question board with scooters. In other words if you dont take your stuff to get fixed by him or buy something from him, I cant tell you if person is going to be honest to you. I can tell you he will hell give it to you straight and hell be fair with you Hes earned a lot of respect for me.

Brought my scooter trike in not running and a couple of days later rode it out of there! Price was very reasonable. Scott will be the only one to work on my trike! Highly recommend

UPDATE: I sold my Yamaha Vino and bought a 2015 Vespa Primavera 150cc. About a year into owning it, it suddenly stopped accelerating like normal. I would crank the throttle and it would go maybe half speed. I bought it from a mechanic who fixed it up, so who knows what kind of condition it was in when he found it. I called Scott from Westside Scooters and showed him the bike. He was able to diagnose it same day. The throttle wires were rusted and one was broken. I was able to order parts from Vespa Atlanta. When the part came in, Scott fixed my Vespa good as new! It runs great. Reasonable labor charges. It saved me so much $, as I was going to ship it to Atlanta to the Vespa shop. After not riding it for several years, I had it towed to another repair shop to get it running, but it still wasnt running quite right. I called Justin and told him my issues. He listened patiently as I told him the problems with my scooters performance. He suggested that I try to get the original repair shop to address my issues, which I appreciated. I tried that route, but ended up taking my bike to Westside Scooters anyway. Immediately, Justin turned on my scooter and noticed something wasnt right. In a few hours, he made some adjustments, fixed an exhaust leak and cleaned out the muffler. Now my scooter is back to how it used to be! Justin was extremely respectful and professional. He even went above and beyond by calling my original repair shop to share what he found. Thankfully, the original shop did what was right and refunded me the cost of the service at Westside Scooters. If youre looking for a trustworthy scooter repair shop with very reasonable prices, this is it. Highly recommended!

My scooter coughed, sputtered and died on the side of the road about a year ago, and I have just now gotten around to having it serviced. The staff at Westside Scooter was able to get me up and running the same day and cost half of what I was expecting to pay. They did a great job and I couldnt recommend them enough!

When I brought my moped in, it started but wasnt working. It was thought that the belt was the issue. I drove off and within 3 miles after getting it fixed, it stopped working. My scooter is my only means of transportation at this time. I called Westside Scooters back and they ended up taking care of the other issue at no cost. I appreciated that and feel they handled things professionally at the best of their ability, even when things didnt go as expected.Thank you!

Steve is an honest professional. I purchased a new motorcycle from Westside scooter in 2007 and always had it serviced there. I have been bringing my Aprilia Tuono for tires mechanical adjustments. Work is always done correctly, reasonably priced and very timely.

Scott is the ultimate professional..fair price and great service..changed my tires on aprilia scarabeo 500 and balanced plus fixed a few problems that I didnt see..Highly recommend for motorcycle/scooter...

If u have scooter performance problems then this is the place to go. The owner Scott really knows his stuff and goes beyond reasonable in isolating the issue and fixing it and is very reasonable in his pricing and turn around. I have learned with my 2015 Kymco Super 8 49cc scooter, that its like any other motorized vehicle, you cant just put gas in them and drive them. Periodic tweaks are critical and Scott is the man on performing those tweaks and adjustments! He is the Kymco designated dealer and shop in Asheville and is awesome and also works on other stuff. If you have a problem, dont hesitate to go see him. A little hard to find first time so pay close attention to where his shop is. Gotta go down the right side if the building that the Mexican restaurant is in next to the Burger King. Go see Scott! You will be happy you did! I sure am and hes got a customer as long as I have a scooter!

Great place to take your scooter, always been friendly an you dont feel like there trying to get over on you, fast service, Ive bought a new scooter from scott an had no problems. Out of it theyve dont work on other scooters Ive owned with no problem, an quick.

I have been going to these guys for at least 6 years now. My business owns 3 scooters and each year I take them in for spring cleaning and throughout the season for service as needed. They are top knotch with customer service and clear communication. They were closed last week for summer vacation and I had to take it to a place down the street. OMG! they sucked. Wont even call me back. I am going back to West Side in the morning with my broken scooter and getting it fixed properly. That is why I decided to write a review. I didnt realise until now how good I am treated here.

Came in to buy a scooter this afternoon. Had previously spoken with the mechanic and agreed to a price for the TaoTao Jazzie SMM 49cc. I was able to ride it home after grabbing tags at the DMV down the road. Staff is personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Scooter handled very well on the way home (10miles). It was able to maintain speed up hills and cruise with traffic while flat. I weigh 160lbs.

Best place to get anything done on any metric Motorcycle, or pretty much anything with a motor.

I ordered A140 by 90 by 16 tire and I got 130 by 90 16 tire which is about $15 difference in price and he thought I would not notice to size difference and when I noticed it he asked me if I could live with it I guess he hoped I would not notice it I would have paid X2 for the size tire that I wanted but he tried to push a smaller tire size by Me and was not friendly at all !!!

My previous motorcycle/scooter mechanic closed, so I went to Westside to have them replace my scooter tire valve stem. They are fast and friendly and will be going back for future repairs.
