Was forced to wear a mask if we wanted to shop in their store. So we put one on and proceeded to look around. In just a few minutes we were trolled by the lady working there. Mind you there were only a few people shopping at the time and we were no where near anyone. We live in America so I am free to not ever shop at your store again.

Lots of vendors here! Pet friendly! If you’re one for retro clothing, this spot has a shockingly very large selection. Mannequins were fascinating lol. Some vendors, not all, were definitely over priced. Staff was friendly. Building ventilation & Air very muggy. Fans located throughout.

There a lot to see here. Separate booths with unique antiques & other things. We didnt have alot of time to stay but we were able to glance each booth for an overview & did find 1 thing to buy in that short time.

Made an offer on an item in one of the booths at the shop. The lady who was working that day took our offer and stated that she reached out to the booth owner, but by the time we were ready to leave, she stated she had not heard back. So, my wife and I passed on the item and left the shop. No sooner had we returned to our car than the lady in the shop called us and stated she just heard back from the owner of the item and that the price was firm. My wife and I decided to go back in and purchase the item.The next day I received a call from ANOTHER lady at the shop. She stated she had just heard from the owner of the booth and yes, she would accept our offer. As it turns out, the booth owner had NEVER spoken to the shop the previous day and indeed, the lady working in the shop that day was lying. Not a great way to conduct business.......

This was my first time visiting this place and I really enjoyed it. A lot of cool stuff with great variety and relevant items. Im definitely going back. Prices are ok 😁

Very large building with lots of nice things. Make sure you go when there is good weather. Prices can be a bit high. So check before you buy. Still better than antique tobacco barn which is mostly just junk. Added a star as my review my have been a bit harsh, worth a visit.

I absolutely love this tucked away gem. Their selection is ever revolving, you never know what you might find. However, with that being said, if you see something you like be prepared to buy because it most likely will be sold by the time you get back. Great selection of vintage clothes, random assortment of collectable magazines and records. Id much rather go to this store as opposed to some of the larger ones in town.

Well organized and clean. Love the selections. Tucked away but glad we found it. Proprietors were sweet about letting us browse for the last 45 mins and gracious in wrapping everything carefully. Will be back

Enjoyed our visit. A variety of different items at a reasonable price. Only 4 stars because once I approached the register? The girl continued a personal conversation instead of waiting on me. I had to ask for help when she was standing directly in front of me looking at me!

Unique shop with antiques, collectBles and vintage

I wish I could give this antique mall 5 million stars instead of just five! I am absolutely in love with this place, and my only regret is that I did not find it sooner. The staff is very helpful, the booths are organized, and clean. It has a fabulous layout and clean restroom facilities as well. I found so many great things there today! It is a dream for a collectors and I definitely will be back! I’m actually going to make it a point to go at least once a week.

I just wanted to say they do not care about a person stranded in the pouring monsone rains who haf broken down . they actually had a very rude woman in the store who even went so far as to say she was with someone she didnt even know. she asked to sweep a floor because someone elderly had told her they could get her to weaverville if she had gas money. she had left herbankcard in her pants pocket at home where she was shopping the day before. this is so upsetting that if you dont have human kindness how could you possible be kind when a customer is in need of a problem to be solved you guys think about this because i wont spend another dime there and what they dont know is my brother who was in Illinois at the time has spent lots of money there at auctions so they lost that as well. thank you for allowing my voice to be heard and if you notice there are many complaints here

Fantastic store with lots of unique finds! We stopped in on the last day of our vacation as we were heading back home. Wish we would have had more time to throughly look in all the booths. Could have spent hours here. Still managed to end our trip with several great finds. Pricing was reasonable as well. Will definitely be back next time we visit Asheville!

Typical stall style antique barn. Lots of varied items, staff was helpful and prices seemed fair. Would definitely visit again on our next visit. Also, it was a cold weekend while visiting Asheville, and it was warm enough here to spend time seeing all that they had to offer...others in the area have open doors and on a cold day like this one, its way too cold to peruse all of their offerings.

Huge with lots of variety. Building was freezing, felt colder than it was outside somehow. Nice workers, nice place to spend a day searching. There was a big vintage clothing section, although nothing was sorted by size or era.... Everything was shoved in a tiny space too so was very difficult to browse the clothes. OTHERWISE FANTASTIC PLACE!

Large multi-vendor antique store. Many of the vendors have 25% or 40% off their entire booths. Most vendors have fair and reasonable prices on their items. Masks are required and they enforce that you wear them correctly. One of the workers approached my sister and asked her to pull the mask up over her nose. They have a holding station to keep you from walking around holding items that wish to purchase.

BUYER BEWARE!! Check the merchandise you purchase from this establishment before you buy!! I bought a baby gate that the price tags said ALL accessories needed to install are include in bag attached. I got home and went to install it and the main portion that the gate attaches to is missing. There is no way to install this gate. It is trash. The store owner would do absolutely nothing about it. They would not contact the booth owner to reslove the issue. $20 flushed down the drain...

Plenty to look at. Be prepared to stay a while.

This place is terrible, don’t go there. I mean it don’t! I need it to stay a secret so it doesn’t become the most popular place in Asheville and I never get a chance again to stroll the giant building of booths filled with the best treasure. I am only one person and can’t possibly take down the droves of people clamoring to get in this place once they find out how great it is.

Its always a hunt to explore in here, its an adventure, I love it! Wear a sweater though, it gets chilly. The people at the registers are always kind, informative and know their stuff.

I love this place. We visit every year and I ALWAYS find something try bring home with me. I especially like that most of the booths have true antiques and not just junk like some places.

This would be getting 6 stars. Everything about this place was perfect! A lot goes into rating an antique store/mall. Not just what is offered for sale. The music, lighting and ambiance, for instance. This had everything. So much to see, well have to surely go back when we are in the area again.

Buyer BEWARE! My wife bought a baby gate that had said all parts included in its ticket. We took it at its word and on the reputation of the establishment.Got it home, major parts missing. I saw on the receipt it said all sales final but that is false advertising so I called the manager. Nothing would be done they said, all sales final. To blatantly place an incomplete item on display and even put all parts included on the tag is worse than false advertising, its scamming the customer.BUYER BEWARE!

There was just too much stuff to look at. My husband and I only went down 2 aisles and we were exhausted but we had the best time. Some of the prices were a bit high and others were more affordable. It was also kind of hot inside but they did have a couple of fans going which helped. Over all a really great place to visit. We will be going back to finish the rest of the aisles.

Lots of both and wide variety of collectibles and antiques. Prices and quality varies. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms.All the signs about the cameras feel a little passive aggressive. There is not good ventilation or cooling so after being there for a while two times now I’ve felt overheated and dizzy.

Oh my goodness we were in there for 2 1/2 hrs. I could have easily taken longer. Theres so much to see. My recommendation for the vendors in this place... if you want to sell everything in your booth and make a profit you need to lower the prices. Pricing was ridiclous, espically on the clothing located in the very back of the store. I mean either you want to be rid of it or you want to be a hoarder and keep it all. Only you can decide that. If you wonder why there is still so much in your booth, its cause your prices are too high. Its not like what your selling is brand new. 10% off will not do.

So many things and the environment feels nice as youre walking around. The staff is very courteous.

Nice place to shop for your favorite collectibles and antiques!

Normally when go to Sweeten Creek Antiques we have a great experience. We try to go at least 2 times a month but yesterday we did not have a good experience. It was very hot and humid and wearing a mask made it unbearable, even f there were a few more fans in the building it could of helped out moving the air around the building. At checkout the older clerk asked my niece to pull her mask over her nose, (she wears glasses and they were fogging up so she could not see in her wallet), that irked me being so hot in the building, what do you truly expect. It will be awhile before my family will be back. Maybe in the winter..

Plenty to choose from, just nothing I needed today....but who knows tomorrow...

Honestly this place is amazing! I went here when i was visiting asheville to kill some time and ended up spending 3ish hours looking around! A large percent of the items are in great condition and the vintage clothing doesnt smell musty at all! Im going back to asheville this Christmas to see the Biltmore and i made sure to squeeze this place into the schedule. I honestly dont know what im more excited for, Biltmore or Sweeten Creek Antiques!

An interesting selection. The quality and value definitely vary by booth. A lot of areas would benefit from more selective curation and can be overwhelming because of the sheer amount of things packed into a small space. The overall market is more easily navigated that a lot of others in the area. Maybe best if you dont have anything in particular youre looking for.

Lots of stuff. Prices vary but kind of on the high side. Staff very unfriendly. Counter clerk has a very matter of fact attitude. I wanted to place an offer on an item she answered rudely and seemed not to be bothered. Many other similar places in the area that are way more friendly and fun.

This turned out to be a hidden gem. Similar to some of the other shops in the area, but it seemed to have a better assortment of stuff, and better prices on much of it. I have a feeling this place attracts fewer hipster-like folks than others nearby, so the pricing is more reasonable. I will return some day in the near future.

Its an antique store. I find that most antique stores are the same. And thats just because of what type of antiques Im looking for.By no means makes this a bad store. I quite enjoyed my walk around the place. I personally didnt see anything that I was interested in, but I highly recommend any antique store to be looked through thoroughly.To each his own.

The amount of things you can find here is incredible! So much history and cool odds and ends, it can take hours to look at everything they have. The employees are friendly and can help you find specific things if they have it. The prices are based off of each individual seller, and everything is organized in cubical-like spaces that fill the entire warehouse.

I bought a charming landscaping painting here about a month ago. The place is HUGE and prices arent astronomical. I shop in antique stores for items with character that I can use, Im not overly concerned with paying for a pedigree. If you like things of a vintage nature, although its a smidge outside of downtown, this is well worth a stop, and they have accessible parking.

Very large, warehouse building full of antiques. Most of these items seem to be things from someones attic or basement. Somewhat like a massive garage sale - with upscale prices. You may find a particular item if you browse carefully.
