Very friendly and helpful! There is more on the inside than it looks like from the outside. I collect teacups and found way more than I usually do in other shops. Clean and well lit. Will be back when we visit Asheville again.

My favorite antique store around Asheville! They have an incredibly unique variety of vendors/stock & prices are very fair. The shop is clean, bright, well organized & there’s a nice restroom as well.I really enjoy that they have more “smaller” items instead of excess furniture.It’s a ton of fun to walk around & look at everything.I had an amazing experience with the employee working (Luke, I believe). He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. I’m already looking forward to my next shopping trip here!

I love this antique store! Definitely my favorite stop when Im spending the day antiquing.Owners are incredibly friendly. The store is not cluttered, full of fun items, not overpriced, and not musty. Thats a tall order but they hit the mark!

Oh I love this place. I could spend hours just looking at all the great things they have. The prices are not too high either.

I love Altamont! It’s fun, well lit and a great place to find unique gifts. I think Asheville has a wonderful selection of vintage and antique stores with each serving their own niche. Altamont has a fabulous selection of Victorian jewelry, vintage holiday (including Halloween), and unique “smalls”. I highly recommend it. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I found a beautiful vintage Christmas angel last week as well as a tiny old metal taxi. If you’re looking for a relaxing shopping experience, Altamont should be on your list!

Great place to check out and an even better place to buy. The last thing youd think to find they have and the prices are very fair. The customer service is above and beyond. I messaged them about something I bought a few days after and they were kind enough to research their records to help me learn exactly where the artifact came from. You dont see this level of customer service often especially in a town that sees a lot of tourists. We hope to make it to their shop again next time were in town.

Excellent place to shop for that one of a kind item. Great people good prices. Well worth your time to stop in.
