This particular store has great people. We were “dealt with” terribly at another location not too far from here, but Clayton Asheboro is truly top notch. The personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful, as one would hope for and expect. Miranda was the Rep that walked us through buying our home. She has been fantastic to work with and is very knowledgeable at all levels. This was a completely positive experience for us and we were very pleasantly surprised at not only the difference in assistance at the Asheboro store but also how well the store was managed. We tried other places before Clayton and we constantly got denied for the homes we looked and all they showed us were houses out of our price range. So we went to Clayton Homes and it was the best thing ever. We worked with Omar and he made the buying experience the easiest thing in the world. He worked hard for us and he helped us find the perfect house in our price range and couldnt be happier. Whenever we had questions, he always had an answer for us. Ive never worked with a sales person that would do anything to make sure we get everything we wanted and made everything simple to unserstand. My family and I had been searching for what seemed like the longest time for the perfect house and floor plan. We never seemed to find the perfect home that was customizable for our needs until we went to Clayton in Asheboro. We met with Omar who was absolutely great from the start. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were getting everything we wanted. He was always available, even after Clayton hours, which helped our family feel as though he was invested in our home as much as we were. Aaron also helped our family feel stress-free and comfortable during the entire process. Our family has nothing but positive things to say about Clayton in Asheboro and truly feel they have the best staff. I would definitely recommend them as we have had the best experience. We worked with Omar who is very friendly and helpful! He went out of his way to keep us posted on the day by day status of our home and has always been just a phone call away when we had questions or concerns! After we got moved in, we found some issues within our home that Omar and Aaron have not only fixed but they also found some issues we didnt see and have scheduled those repairs as well. I would highly recommend anyone to go down and see them! They have been a pleasure to work with.

Friendly staff and that’s it. Purchased the most expensive modular home they had for show... didn’t build the foundation high enough to support natural septic flow, so I’m stuck with an expensive, easy to break, and unsightly septic lift pump sticking out of my yard.. it’s broke twice. Now, my a/c which is under 5 years old, has broken and is unrepairable due to them using the absolute cheapest parts and appliances available. DO NOT EXPECT QUALITY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

My mom went to see about purchasing a home. She was treated less than human by the sales agent and laughed at. Even after all this she still tried to purchase a home. They told her that her credit was great but not enough income. I was willing to co-sign since I bring home over 55,000 a year. They told her she was approved. Two days later she gets a call saying she has to put up her 4 acres of land and 7,000 to get the home. Might as well have asked for straight cash for it.

I bought a home from Clayton Homes of Asheboro this year. Not only did they work with me to help me get it, I got to order it with a variety of choices to fit my wants and needs. My salesperson Miranda was outstanding. She went above and beyond her call of duty many times. I could have not gone thru this ordeal without her. She knew my husband was very sick and I was having to do everything on my own and she was by my side every step of the way. Thank you Miranda, Clayton, Vanderbuilt Mortgage, for all you did. The structure is solid, but materials are cheap. Our year for repairs ran out 6 months ago. Unfortunately we had a leak at that time that wasnt fixed properly, now this rainy season has given us some nice water damage. Our experience wasnt All bad, just wanted better communication through the whole process....

This place is terrible. We’ve been trying to get a home now for months and once we think we’re good and we have put down a deposit on the home, we get a call saying we have to pay ALL of our debt in order to get the house after we’ve put this deposit down. Since we have started dealing with this company we have got nothing but the run around. Something just doesn’t seem right about this company!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY A HOME HERE...THEY WILL PRE QUALIFY YOU AND THEN TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN TELL YOU YOUR NOT APPROVED AND WONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK....GAVE THEM $1000 TO START THE PROCESS TOOK THEM 3 MONTHS TO START AND THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THEN DIDNT WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR RETURN CALLS OR ANYTHING....TOTAL SCAM ARTIST

Cheap materialsTrim popping off all over the inside of the houseCabinet doors fell off, I took 2 months to be replaced.Front storm door hinge broke, I reported that in April and I am still waiting on a replacement, it is now almost September.Both front and back doors leak water in any kind of rain.We purchased from this company thru a business venture, and if you want friendly theyll give you friendly, and their maintenance contractor is great, however I will never do business with this company for my personal home.

Saleman was rude. Acted like he didnt want to take the time to speak with is. Nice homes but seemed a bit pricey.

Very cheaply made homes! We bought a home with upgrades, if the upgrades were what we had then I would hate to see what the basic was. Our home also was delivered....but unfortunately not as what we ordered. Unsatisfactory experience at a high cost to say the least. Only reason I rated it a 1 star is because I couldnt rate it a 0. Save yourself time and heartache....shop elsewhere. Also when repairmen came, it ALWAYS took multiple trips and multiple days...while sometimes messing up more than what they fixed!
