Went in to get another opinion of what I know to be a vintage STERLING silver concho belt (confirmed by a dealer in GSO and the operator of an auction house in Mebane). Both men at Double Eagle that day were downright rude and condescending. Offered me $50 without weighing or testing the content or even looking closely at the item. I was offered 4x that a couple of months ago in GSO by a dealer that has far better reviews that this joint. Maybe they’re burned out from people trying to cash in on the spike in precious metals prices and people haul in a lot of junk. Who knows. But I know what I brought in was not that. Everyone has the right to run their business the way they want, but if you’re bold enough to be that douche-y about it, without even an inkling of professionalism, then I’ll suppose you’re man enough to handle the the consequences of a SPOT ON terrible review.

Just went in to see what what silver he had. Was told I couldnt look though and look it was whatever he grabbed out of the bag. I then just asked what any ounce would be..(been buying and selling silver over a decade)I said it was a little higher than I was looking for and he began to tell me how I didnt know what I was talking about. Ive went here twice to be met with the same attitude. Will not do business here ever.

Called to find out how much they purchase scrap jewelry for and I advised I knew what the national average was. The person on the phone asked why was I calling, it sounded like I already knew it all? I advised him i was looking to sell and he hung up on me. He quoted $6.00 per ounce, lesser than the national average. Sounds shady to me. You decide.

This place is a joke..The guy/owner is a arragant a..!! Told me to put my silver on EBay he didnt need the business.The only reason I gave them 0ne star because you cant give less. Offer $162.00 for 907 grams of sterling..Dont waste your time here.

The first time I tried this place out I ended up leaving because the employee wanted to argue with me about whether I said I wanted to buy coins or sell coins. I went back a, week later with three silver eagles and they gave me a fair price but then put the coins in a bag and threw them across the room and they crashed into the floor. I left feeling disrespected.
