First time at this diner and we will go back.Our waitress was attentive & pleasant, the food was good.My beef gyro came with a Greek salad & both were excellent. My husbands chicken & cheese quesadilla was on the dry side, but tasty.The menu has a huge selection to choose from, something for everyone.
I was there Saturday evening and picked up my food.. I am shocked how much the prices have gone up! Also, they got my entire order wrong. After I ate my stomach was not good that night or all day yesterday. I will never go back to this location! Rat at your own discretion at this location
This diner had a great outdoor space and the selection of food was awesome. I ended up having grilled cheese, fries, pickle and coleslaw. I thought the portions were very generous. I also enjoyed the iced coffee. They have quite the section of milkshakes (with alcohol). So if I go back I would love to try them. I thought our waitress was very nice.
They offer indoor and outdoor dining. Their outdoor space is surrounded by large potted plants which is a nice feature. I sat inside and was there for breakfast. The service was excellent. The food was very good. I would recommend this diner.
Loved dining at this diner! They have a great outdoor garden area to sit. Prettier than most. Food was quick with good portion sizes. A lot to choose off the menu. I will be returning!
Not exceptional, but a solid choice nontheless. For dinner, there are always specials on the display. The prices are reasonable and typical for suburban diners in middle class neighborhoods. My whiskey burger came with fries, pickle, cole slaw, and lettuce and tomato. Also, a liter of table wine is the price of a 9oz glass elsewhere. The waitress was cool! The breakfast is always good on Sunday mornings.

Took my extended family out here, the food is pretty good. The fact that I brought 18 people with me really gave them a test. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The shakes here a really good too. The chocolate peanut butter whiskey shake was really good.

Ordered take out.Walk inside a hostess said your order is over there. Didn’t check it to see if it was right. Ticket said milk shake was in freezer and hostess said oh ya. Then get order home and ordered a meatball hero I received a chicken parm. No onion on wife’s burger 🍔. Soggy clams strips with no cut lemon wedges. 6:30pm. Place was dead. Now I know why!!!

First time here in more than a year and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the outdoor dining area. Wait staff all wore masks and distance between tables was sufficient. Portions were generous and cooked as requested. Well be back!

Ive been here a few times now & it is consistently amazing. They make delicious, house-made corned beef hash! Im gonna try asking for crispy homefries next time & see how they come out. Staff are always friendly & attentive, & the tables & chairs are clean. Masks are required & there are dividers between booths & at checkout.

I used to eat here all the time with my wife, its close to me and the food is not too bad but its a little pricey for what you get. Last time I went I killed three wasps on the window while I was eating, I am not one to complain it was honestly whatever to me so I did not say a word. Now as I do Doordash delivery on the side I see the restaurants true colors. Three times I have been treated poorly while picking up food for your customers! Last time I picked up food at the front desk a family was paying and I was right behind them to pick up the delivery, then another couple came up to pay before I was even asked whether I was picking up or dining in or anything, I was completely ignored by the manager and two more staff at the front desk as he started ringing up the customers who came up behind me. This is not the first time this happened. What if I decided to eat there today? Stop treating people as lesser because they are not eating at your restaurant and just picking up food for delivery, the delivery drivers that deliver your food are an extension of the customer ordering it. Some of the staff are extremely friendly and wonderful people but I will not be returning to eat or deliver.
We love this place. If you are from Long Island, then you know theres a diner on every corner. My wife and I drive 20 mins away and pass diner after diner just to eat here. Clean, fresh, fast, affordable and always a friendly staff. Mt Sinai Diner never disappoints.

The food is ok, to go prucing is hit and miss, ordered a Greek salad with no meat and 1 piece of spinach pie $24.99 another time me and my wife stopped in to get dessert to go after having gone out to dinner elsewhere. My wife got a piece of all chocolate cake and I got a chocolate cigar pastry. My wifes piece was a little stale and mine was super stale. Mine with the bite i took at home all went in the garbage. Dont know why I keep trying.
The quality of ingredients were very low. The burger I ordered tasted old, and the gyro my brother ordered was bland. It looks like something that we would get as a middle school lunch. Service was the saving grace, our waiter was very polite, 4/5 for his service

I have only eaten breakfast here but everytime I have it has been delicious! I have tried their veggie omelets, French toast and just their eggs with potatoes and toast and have enjoyed every dish. Their coffee is good too! Great diner!

I got a salad and substituted grilled chicken for the turkey. They took some money off which was very nice. The chicken, however, was so salty and was leathery. I also ordered 2 chicken finger sandwiches. They were supposed to come with marinara and mozzarella. Instead I got chicken finger on a bun and nothing else. All of this was to go, and couldnt go back.
Its been a while since weve been there. Had breakfast that was better than we remembered. Server was always available. Will return.

Always enjoyed this diner. They have good food and great prices, their deluxe meals are enough to easily feed 2 grown adults. They set up a tent and outdoor seating in their parking fire phase 3 re-opening and they surrounded it with their lovely plants. Anyone thats been there knows that whoever maintains their grounds and does their landscaping is an artist. Its gorgeous. And they used this to create just the best outdoor dining area.

Eh. Food wasnt great. Homefries are NOT hashbrowns. Bacon was chewy and smelled sorta strange. The coffee was upsetting. What diner makes bad coffee? And the bill for 2 breakfasts was $35.31. Disappointing and after years we wont return.

Ive been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, burger, fries the list goes on. Its clean, lots of room and the staff are courteous. It is definitely a step up from your regular diner.

Super disappointing, ordered for pick up. Chocolate chip pancakes were charred 75% inedible. My toddlers silver dollar pancakes were covered in oil so much you could feel and taste it.

The best breakfast on Earth! In addition to having the best food it also is the most reasonably priced. Paul has been our server most mornings and he has provided us with consistently amazing service. Can’t imagine going anywhere else because we get treated so very wonderfully here! Anyone who complains about this diner has rocks in their head.
Chicken noodle soup is cambells with a bit of corn and string beans. The pretzel has been sitting in the freezer for a while and no salt! Really like the homemade covid barriers. Stretch wrap around clothes racks !
Been going for years to Heritage Diner, I went last week to pick up my order. When mgmt requires to wear mask upon entry, i would figure the staff would do the same in the premises, I was wrong, not at all. Got my food I guess so called asst mgr and wait staff not following protocol, I was curious about the kitchen, then I said dont bother to myself. Trust me the food is great, prices are reasonable, owner is a gentlemen, but if they dont follow protocols and enforce there employees to apply safety protocols regarding Covid 19, I will def not be going back.

Ive been here several times over the past few months when it was warm enough to eat outside. Today we went in and the service was meh. The sun was too strong through the windows and no one took the initiative to lower the shades until someone complained. My eggs had hair in them. When they were remade and brought back to me they had some mystery breakfast meat in them... Lost faith in this place over the last few visits.

Placed an order for pick up and ended up spending $19.50 on a bacon cheese burger because I ordered extra bacon so it was a $3 up charge and also a $3 up charge for cheese on my fries.... I’m mind blown . Probably never going back here again and I loved this place so I’m very disappointed.
This diner was top notch,the serve was fast and friendly,the coffee was high quality,and believe me, I love good coffee and this place has it. The food was beyond good. I had a cheese burger and it was higher quality than a restaurant. My friend had a quesadilla,that was also really good.The prices were also very affordable.The waiter was attentive, yet not annoying. It was clean and warm. I will always stop here when I visit this area.I havent found a good Diner like this in years. This owner knows what their doing.what a breath of fresh air.
Worst grilled cheese Ive ever had in my life... I ordered a mac n cheese grilled cheese sandwich with bacon on it paid 11.50 for it and all it was littlerally just a scoop of mac n cheese between 2 pieces of bread and no bacon. Completely flavorless and no melted cheesePS the bread was cold too

Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered sugar free apple turnovers on DoorDash and received the regular ones. Spoke to manager and he was not at all concerned that as diabetics we could have been seriously harmed by eating sugar if we hadnt been able to tell the difference. No apology, he just said call Door Dash for refund.

Sat, sept, 5 we went to the Heritage Diner, This was our 4th visit in the last 6 weeks. Outside dining on our 1st visit was really good . All the staff were wearing face mask and gloves, and cleaning the tables with sanitizer was right on target even the menus were wiped down. 2nd visit about the same. 3rd visit we notice a decline in cleaning. Our 4th visit was terrible. There was food and garbage on the floor (napkins straws even a glass with soda on the floor right in the walkway very visible) . When we sat down there was a very soiled napkin and food on the ground right next to my chair. I asked 1 of the staff 3 time to clean it up and when he did he drop some of the food looked at it and walk away . This was at 3pm and they were not busy only us and four other people at another table.Staff did not wear gloves and there was no scent of sanitizer. WE will not go back they totally dropped the ball on protocol.
