This place is terrible. The manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I have tried and tried to give them the opportunity to keep our business but with no avail...They can’t get it together. If the manager doesn’t agree with you, she will over talk you and scream until you listen to her. The optometrist has no clue what he is doing and probably hates his life working with these miserable women...Walmart doesn’t even recognize this vision center and won’t connect you to them when you call the main number. I understand why now... these people are the most unprofessional, unfriendly and idiotic people I have ever dealt with in the history of life. DONT GO THERE... you will be sorry.
I love this place! Ive never had to wear glasses be for but as I have gotten older i need them now. The employees were very professional and did my exam right there! Also helped me find the right kind of frames that fit my face and didnt make me look weird, as that was my biggest concern. Very reasonable, Would definitely recommend them 👍
I dont usually write reviews when I have an issue with something. I always go straight to the source but I wanted others to know my experience with the Vision Center at this Walmart. They are rude and unprofessional. I set up an appointment and I was turned away for having a 99.1 degree temperature after getting out of the hot car and wearing a jacket. Keep in mind that your body temp can rise a couple point degrees after being in a warm environment. They said they couldnt let anyone in for having a temp above 99.2. I get it, Covid is serious and we want to keep everyone as safe as possible. The lady took my temp again about 10 seconds after the first time and it went up by more then a full degree. She kept taking it and it kept going up. No ones temperature goes up that fast and if I had a fever I would know. It was obvious that there was something wrong with their non contact thermometer that doesnt take accurate temperatures on a regular basis anyway. They didnt have any other way to take my temp either. I had left work two hours early and have been on my last pair of contact for 2 months now but they did not care. They didnt even want to check 10 minutes later or try to set up a new appointment for me. I get that they want to keep everyone healthy but it is no excuse to assume people have Covid and deny them the ability to see a doctor. Especially when it is due to a temp that is a little higher then normal due to non heath issues. Just honestly really disappointed in the way they handled things.
This Wal mart has the worst associates. they are rude, non committed to kindness and lack the skill to be of any real assistance.from auto care to vision center.to when you call to try and get things fixed.you can really tell that these people hate their jobs.so they take it out on the customer.thanks for nothing Wal mart!
Poor uncaring, unprofessional customer service. Customers arent even allowed in the store due to Covid fencing; they would have to stand outside in the crowded Walmart for service. Poor technical skills: the assistant put the right lens into the left rim of the frame, then argued with me that I just wasnt use to the glasses. Nose pads re-applied incorrectly. Assistants unwilling or rushed to help because it is their lunch hour. An important phone call was promised and intentionally never returned.
They have improved based upon other reviews! No problem calling them, good exam, and purchase of new glasses. The only difficulty was in getting my new glasses on a timely fashion. I called several times to see if they were in. They said I would be called when they arrived. I never did get a call. So once more I called today. They were in but I was not notified. This was disappointing.
Called 3 times today. Was on hold 10 minutes each time before the machine told me to try again later and hung up.
Had a great experience with Brandi! Who is the store manager! (this was about a year ago!) And she tried to give me some Hershey browies, she is just the biggest sweet heart ever. Would recommend them. They are an honest bunch and the Dr Klenklen is so thorough!
Horrible horrible customer service. Ill never do business here again
So, I dont know about the Dr. because I couldnt make it past the door! I arrived 10 minutes early to appt. The intimidating lady at desk harshly told me I was late. ?? I replied, Im sorry I thought I was early, she scolded me for not being there 15 min early!! My eyesight is not that good but I clearly see that this place needs a complete overhaul.
Save yourself the agony of dealing with this place and go literally anywhere else!!!! I wouldnt recommend this Vision Center to my worst enemy... Its taken over a month and I still dont have my glasses because the lab broke the lenses on my first pair and then they failed to measure my center of vision correctly for the ones that were remade to replace the broken set. No one got in touch with me to say that the original pair was broken, so almost a week went by before I realized there was an issue because I had to call in myself to check!! I then had to wait for the new ones to come in and when they did, the measurements were off, so they had to be resent to the lab in Salt Lake City, which took another week.Ive been back five times now and theyre still not right!! It will be at least another week before I hopefully have a pair of glasses; assuming they can get it together. I started this process on June 19th its now almost August!!! Unacceptable.I bought a pair of glasses from the Youngfield store about four years ago and I had a great experience, which just makes this ordeal even more disappointing...
They had old phone number from the Youngfield store. That’s why no body can get in touch with the store. I miss my contact lenses rebates. I change the number. Hopefully can help everyone to find the store.
They NEVER answer their phone. Ive called on 3 separate occasions and I stay on hold and then disconnect me. They obviously dont want business. I wont call again, hopefully they will be out of business soon.
The phones have a problem, and they are working on it. Ive submitted the new # to Google, but weel have to see how long that takes. Be sure to grab a business card when you pass by, as it has the correct #.Otherwise, the people are very friendly and helpful. Ive had no issue, and am very happy with a couple pair Ive bought in the new location. (Been with this place since the Youngsfield store).
I was leaving there the other night and the employee ( older lady with glasses) was smoking her cigarette hanging out the door the the storw that leads outside with 90% of her body in the store while her head was just poking out smoking on her cigarette like this is okThere is a LAW were you are not aloud to do this 25ft from a doorVery unprofessional and if she cant go to the AREA provided for smoking she should just stay at home so my kids and family dont have to inhail her smoke and be put at riskIll NEVER recommend this eye place to anyone just because of thisI can take my business else where, where my kids arent being exposedVery upset costumer
I love this place and the people who work here have been honest and helpful! They use to answer the phone when they were on young field so not sure about that.
My wife got a set of glasses here. From the first day she told them the vision was blurry, they said try them for a month and come back if it does not get better. She could not see and returned to find out that they would not make any refund or correction after 30 days, Glasses went in the TRASH, total waste of time and money, NEVER go here or trust what they say.!!!!!
Great service
I agree with the other posts. No one answers their phone. After being on hold for 15 minutes a recording says to call back later.
