Experience started out well - great customer service in the store and in our home for measurements, but went a bit downhill from there.We scheduled a date for install, but the window came and went with no phone call to us. I called the store only to learn they wouldnt be coming that day after all. Apparently the whole operation falls apart when 1 installer gets a cold, so they bumped us to the following day. We had already taken the day off since we had to disconnect computers and to allow for the install, so the no-show forced us to take an additional day off work.The install itself went smoothly, considering 1 guy was on speakerphone having a personal conversation with a woman just about the entire day (the whole install took about 6 hours).In the end, there was carpet debris and dust EVERYWHERE. Bedrooms, bathroom floors, garage, and even our alley that we share with neighbors. As they were about to head out, I asked if theyd brought a big vacuum cleaner to clean up all of the excess carpet debris theyd left, but he simply said we dont do that. Your typical home vacuum cleaner can do it.We had to go over the carpets about 3 times to get it all, and had to unclog our vacuums at least 10 times to do so.In the end Id hoped to at least get a call from the store to ask how our install went, especially considering they were a no-show on the scheduled day. Youd think theyd want to ensure satisfaction after that, but here we are, 1 week later, and I havent heard anything or had any offer to make things right.Super disappointed.We will be needing more carpet in our near future but will be looking elsewhere.

The next time I need carpet, I will definitely go back to the Carpet Mill. We had some very tight deadlines to get a whole house of carpet installed. They went overboard to get the job completed ahead of time. The staff was very patient and informative in addressing our questions and time deadlines. Bad place to deal with. No communication with installers and main office. Rescheduled 3 different times. Cancelled install after 3rd. No show. Asked for full refund on November 23rd. Said refund would be back on credit card within 5 to 7 business days. Today is the 8th. Business day and still no refund. Will have to go through credit card company. Since the cancellation went through carpet exchange. Installed already and did a great job on 2 flights of stairs. Thanks for nothing carpet mill.

Im so glad I went to this Carpet Mill for my flooring. Sharise helped us pick out an excellent vinyl wood plank floor. She came to our home and measured. The installers showed up right on time and quickly removed the existing floor. There were spots in the kitchen and living room where the subfloor was 1/2 higher than the rest of the floor. The installers fixed that. The new floor was installed in 1 day and looks excellent!

My grandparents recently had carpet installed by this company. Prior to the installation team arriving, the stairway railing was in pristine condition as my grandfather spent days stripping and staining it. He finished the day before the carpet installation team came. After they left the railing was very badly damaged, along with many of the floor boards. I cannot attest to the quality of their sales employees, but their installation team is careless, and disastrously sloppy. Based upon former reviews, this is not the first time. It is regretful that my grandparents did not read the reviews before hiring this location, do not make the same mistake they did. I am sure there are other more reliable, and more deserving carpet installation companies.

We had a great experience in the store with the manager/room measurer Sharice! Our issue came when we had the actual carpet installed. The contractors that carpet mill used were horrendous. They didn’t lift any thresholds they just jammed the carpet underneath, they vacuumed with a useless vacuum cleaner as we were picking up loose unused staples for 3 weeks afterwards. Which is a great chore when you have an 8 month old baby who like to put things in her mouth. On top of a bad vacuum job they ended up forgetting about the vacuum in front of their vehicle, drove over it, realized it, and then just threw it in our yard to dispose of. We don’t have a problem with taking care of it, if asked. The kicker to this was when we got a call 3 days later asking where the vacuum was.

DO NOT BUY CARPET FROM THIS PLACE! THEY RUINED MY BASEBOARDS AND REFUSE TO REIMBURSE ME TO FIX THEM!!! Bought a house and wanted to carpet one bedroom of the home. Had to get the baseboards removed and put back on to install the carpet and the guy that was sent over did them all wrong and now they have nails sticking out and completely cracked in other places. Had to talk to Carpet Mill to get another guy out to correct the first guys work but he did an incomplete job and didnt fix all of the nails that are sticking out of the baseboards. There is also places where the baseboards were installed so poorly that the baseboards dont match each other at all!! I have complaints in with the BBB but DO NOT GO HERE!!! Tim, the manager, refuses to refund me the difference to get this all fixed and says it is my responsibility and that the damage is just NORMAL. I wish I could attach pictures of what it looks like now. Just terrible and my bedroom looks 10X worse than it did in the beginning!!! Will never go here again!! PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS WARNING! THEY DONT VET THE CONTRACTORS WHO DO THE INSTALL AND THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT THEY DO IN YOUR HOME.

My wife and I were in the market for new carpeting for our home. Some 20 years ago we had our home re-carpeted by Carpeted by Carpet Mill in Arvada. We were driving near this store late one afternoon and stopped in to check out their carpet. We were met by Sherisse, the store manager. We explained that we were wanting to re-carpet our living room, dining room and family room on the main floor and then re- carpet the 2nd floor consisting of three bedrooms, master bedroom and two bath rooms. Sherisse showed us various types of carpeting, explaining in depth the pros and cons of each. We asked Sherisse about some flooring we had seen in her store. She thoroughly explained the different types. Then Sherisse said that she would being samples of both carpet and flooring to our home so we could make a final decision on colors and style. We were able to decide on carpet colors and flooring style and color. The carpet installers, a three man crew, did a fantastic and expedient job of installing the carpet, finishing in two days. The flooring is absolutely beautiful and matches our woodwork perfectly. A special thanks to Sherisse for all her help and guidance we are so pleased.

I’ll admit it. Shopping for a just the right flooring for our home was a bit daunting. Many times in the past we looked at overpriced, so-called “perfect flooring solution”, then been turned off by lack of customer service and follow through. Then by accident we were driving down the street towards our home and happened to notice Carpet Mill Outlet Flooring in a strip mall at 88th and Wadsworth (7370 West 88th Avenue) in the Arvada/Westminster, CO area. We had a bit of time, turned in, and were most pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a very personable and knowledgeable lady, Sherisse Pevy. She gave us her time, attention, and expertise. We have ended up with the perfect flooring décor that met our needs and allowance. Her sales professionalism was obvious. The selection at the store allowed us to browse through a wide variety of options and then we could narrow it down to what we wanted. The installation experience was top notch. The installers were very experienced, too. They were determined to do the job and stay until we were absolutely satisfied. They must not need my business, because they never called me back like they said they would after measuring for new countertops. I even called them back to see if maybe they just forgot. They said they were very sorry and that they would call me back later that day to schedule me in and give me a bid. Again, they never called. I guess I will go somewhere else.

Got 3 estimates and carpet mill was the most expensive and lowes and home depot estimated I had 850 or so sq feet, carpet mill said I had over 900 sq ft, then called and said it would be 860 sq ft, but still charged me for over 900 sq ft, then denied they called me saying it was 860 sq ft, not only are they thiefs they also lie.
