Greatest shop I have ever worked with. Ive been in the auto industry for over 10 years working at several dealerships and service shops. AGG came to my house to pick up our Mercedes without hesitation due to a transmission leak. Mind you this is at 4pm on a Friday, still came right over. Ive never had a better auto repair experience than I had this last Memorial Day weekend with Arvada German Garage. Not only did they stay open long enough late Friday to take in my BMW for a turbo pipe issue, but when the initial diagnosis wound up being over $500 less than expected, I was amazed that Mike only charged what to me seemed less than fair. I live in NM, but Ill take my BMW to Arvada when it needs maintenance, and YES, its worth the drive. If I had room to write how kind and considerate Mike and the young woman at the front (sorry I forgot your name) were, I could really enlighten a lot of German car owners. Dont take your BMW, Porsche, Benz anywhere else unless you like the usual service. These guys are amazing!

I brought in my 06 BMW X5 for a vacuum leak diagnosis and repair. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jared. He was extremely professional and patient and took the time to explain all potential causes and symptoms and offered an extremely fair price for the services performed. They kept me updated with convenient text messages and even offered to call me a ride after drop-off. My vehicle is running wonderfully today and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Had a lot of work done on my 2001 BMW 540i, ranging from oil change - ended up replacing the oil filter container due to missing clips, this resulted in the engine not running right, so they adjusted the timing chain. Additional work included changing the power steering pump and repairing a coolant leak. A few months of not putting too many miles on the car (working at home due to COVID), I noticed a bolt on the garage floor and some new leaks.I ended up taking the car to a different garage, they found that the bolt that fell off was cross threaded at the power steering pump, and the new leaks were from the power steering pump, water pump (which was removed when they adjuster the timing chain) and the oil pan. In other words most of the work was not done correctly…Update: The owner of Arvada German Garage went over to the other garage and looked at the car. He said he would cover the cost of repairing the power steering cross threaded bolt/leak.Bottom line: Not happy with the overall quality of work done at Arvada German Garage…. It’s costing me more time without the car and money to get these issues fixed by another garage.

Arvada German Garage places customer satisfaction as a top priority. They performed excellent repairs on my 2012 VW Passat- all 4 brakes including the rotors, a bent control arm, and two of my door locks. I was referred to their services and would recommend them to anyone looking for a go-to mechanic.

UPDATE: We had an issue with the work initially done but Mike, the owner, called and made it right and is ordering the part (Installing at no charge) to finish the work needed on the car. Its good to see a shop that stands behind its work and any issues that arise from it. Based on this I would HIGHLY recommend you do business with this shop.

Ive been taking my cars there for years and theyve always treated me fairly and honestly.

I went to this shop this morning and they didn’t letting me know what the price would be, they straight out told me it’s too much work and didn’t even look at the car. It was still on the tow truck. They said if I would go to a dealership it would be an $8,000 fix and coming to them is a $3,000. That’s why I came to them????? Then have the nerve to tell me to take it to a junkyard and get $300. They thought I had no money…. Silly’s, I’ll take my money somewhere else. I was willing to pay yous 3,000 but y’all wanna worry about if it’s worth fixing my car!

My idle sounds amazing now. I have nothing but excellent things to say about the service. Front desk was very responsive to my questions and updates about what was being done to my car. Will definitely be taking my car back for other maintenance item.sFor reference I have an Audi A6 2012. I took my car in last Friday for a transmission fluid change. Last minute at the counter I also asked if they could replace the drive belt. Not only did they get both of those done but they also recommended and completed changing out the pulleys on the drive system. All of this work happened within a day. I am very pleased with the service. It also nice knowing the owner is a former Indy car mechanic, you can be sure your high end car will be looked over properly.Their suggestion to replace the pulleys was spot on and I didnt feel like they were replacing or charging me for unnecessary things. If they recommend doing something I would listen. Its much easier for the shop and cheaper for you to replace other things while they have the car taken apart.

We were travelling through Colorado in our 2003 VW Eurovan. While in the mountains we started having serious sounding issues while running the AC. As we drove out of the mountains into Denver we called several German shops to just give us a quick look to know how serious the mechanical issues were. No other shop would even see us, Arvada German Garage agreed to at least take a look but they said they couldnt fit us in for a repair. We came by, after listening to our van for 2 minutes the garage took it for a quick drive then told us it had to be repaired, ordered the needed parts for next day delivery and squeezed us in for the repair following day. This was huge. They fully repaired our van and got us ready for our long drive home later that week. They were accommodating, professional, fixed the issue and basically saved our rears. They appeared particularly adept at Eurovan diagnosis and work as they left us with follow up recommendations for other concerns. I would highly rate this shop plus give them extra props for saving some out-of-towners during an unexpected emergency.

I was trying to sell my Audi Allroad. Literally, the day before the buyer showed up, my water pump exploded, coolant exploded, and a resistor hose burst.I showed up at 8am on Friday and the phone was already ringing off the hook. I heard the advisor explain the next availability was Wednesday. That said, Nikki hung up the phone and without any stress or rushing, discussed my car and my concerns. She said she’d get it checked out, and give us as much info as possible.Within an hour, I had a quote and expected finish date. She was careful not to over promise, but said Tuesday at the latest. I picked my car up Monday morning and sold it two hours later.I owe the exceptional speed and high quality service to Nikki and Dan. Arvada German Car garage just got my business for my new Audi, sorry dealer!! Can’t beat a local small business doing superb work with a smile.

Once my BMW M235i went off the 4 year warranty, I was nervous about who would service it. I love the friendly and local service, quick appointment times, and honest pricing and work. Im glad I didnt pay thousands to renew my warranty with the BMW dealer.

I was a customer at this place for two years. I walked in yesterday because I had enough of the BS I was fed from this place. My BMW 328i had been experiencing a steering problem (sometimes with a fish-tailing sensation) with violent vibrations and a clunk and grind noise while driving and turning wheel/braking. With this place I had new brakes and rotors put in, a wheel bearing replacement, and new shocks on the front. I was very patient when coming back time after time with the same unfixed problem. I was actually turned away a few times being told that nothing wrong could be found with the suspension. I was told by Mike to buy a new set of tires before coming back to see if it fixed the problem. I did that, plus a whole new set of wheels since they were slightly bent. Problem persisted, yet nothing could be found. I decided to go to a new place called Bimmer Haus to get a second opinion. Part of my issue was the fact that I had warped brake rotors on the front, mustve been a cheap set. I had my front brakes and rotors replaced with Bimmer Haus and my ride felt significantly better. It was still not how it was before, so I went back to them regarding the clunk noise. They asked me where I had my suspension work done and I said Arvada German Garage. They knew the owner by name and after consulting with them, I felt it was best to go to Mike and address the suspension issue I was having since he and his team had done the work on it in that area. I showed up and asked to speak to Mike, politely. He came to the front and I asked if I could show him something outside. He said sure and followed me. I said, Ive been really understanding with you guys. Before I could finish, he replied, Well you should be, or else you can go somewhere else. Was I being rude? No. I told him I took his advice to get new tires, and that I also had got my front brakes and rotors replaced. He asked by who and I said Bimmer Haus. He then rode around with me in the car and asked if the mild suspension hiss was all that I was concerned about. Why not let me drive my own car to show you what Im talking about? Your attitude was unnecessary. He mumbled under his breath, Why dont you go to them? I asked him what he said and he didnt reply. He took my car to the back of the shop to diagnose it. He told me it was a control arm and ball joint. He also said that I could take my business to Bimmer Haus. (As if I was a traitor... I told him I wouldve preferred to keep my business with them, but I was happy to leave at that point. I went back to Bimmer Haus today and they diagnosed and FIXED my car - which was something other than the control arm/ball joint that Mike was talking about. Stay away from this place if you value quality over price. The two techs at the front have always been very cordial, though.

I have a few aging Euro cars that have aging Euro car problems. The staff at Arvada German Garage have been attentive and dedicated to solving some of the more difficult problems that have arisen in the past few years. Very knowledgeable techs that always have time and tools to get you back on the road.

I have taken both of the BMW’s that I have owned to Arvada German Garage. I went to a BMW dealership and was shocked by how much they wanted to charge me for routine maintenance. I will only use them for my service and repair needs in the future. Very professional, they explain things about the car in layman terms and perform a high quality level of work.

I have been taking my BMWs to Mikes garage since he was a 2 bay shop. His service team, Jared and Nikki are the best. They are always patient with me and explain all my options around the repairs. I always recommend this shop when I meet with other BMW owners. We can be a snarky bunch and very critical of the service to our cars. AGG has never let me down. Keep up the good work!

This is our new mechanic! We just purchased a used VW and I already had an issue and I was stressing about it since we were new to VW, etc. I called this shop and Nikki was great. They got me in last minute(I think because she could tell I was stressin) and they were able to tell me what was going on, educated me, and showed me the part. AND they also provided a ride on top of that. They are great! Great customer service. We wont go anywhere else.

Just picked up my car from here and I have to say I recommend them to anyone with a German vehicle!! They were absolutely amazing! So quick, efficient and most importantly HONEST! They worked with me and didnt pressure me into doing anything. Even offered a cheaper fix instead of replacing everything (I decided I wanted to do it anyway just for preventive measures). Im very picky when I choosing a mechanic for my car, and I have to say they have my business for life!!

They charged me 100 dollars to remove a piece of plastic that fell into my gear shifter and also Just found out by another electrician that a issue that ive been having on my bmw for a while was because they created a issue in my electrical and has been killing my battery ever since day one after i picked up my car from them

I took my 2006 BMW 325I to Arvada German Garage and was very please with the service I received. The staff was very helpful, especially Jared who was very helpful through the whole process of getting my car repaired. I would recommend to anybody this shop. There experience and knowledge is unquestionable one of the best I ever had the pleasure in dealing with. I needed a rear differential and they work very hard keeping me within budget which was very helpful to me. I have a very fixed income and told them how much I could spend on the repairs and they came in perfectly within my budget. It was a delight working with the crew at Arvada German Garage. They’ve worked on my Land Rover many times and I’ve never been disappointed with the work or the prices. The staff is very friendly and explains everything to me in detail, which sometimes means they have to repeat themselves because I’m a bit dense when it comes to car stuff. I’ve never felt that they’re trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge or trying to sell me on a repair that I don’t need. I highly recommend!

Love these guys. I got sick of the dealer trying to rip me off every time I set foot in the door, and a friend recommended Arvada German Garage. They are honest, the prices are fair, the customer service is outstanding and the work has always been top notch. I know that I can trust any recommendations they make and that they are recommending what is best for ME, not for them. Mike just recommended some new tires and he followed up with an email asking how they were in the snow. A dealer would never give that level of customer service or concern.

Arvada saved my ass. I was leaving Denver, as part of a cross country trip, and my fuel pump died. They replaced it same day. Total price was $819. All other shops were telling me at least a week before they could look at it. I would’ve been totally, completely screwed without them.

Nikki and the entire staff at German garage are awesome purchased a 2008 BMW for my daughter for her graduation had a lot of issues with the car but the Jared Garage is taken care of it had a service engine light come on the day before my daughter was leaving to go to college and they got her into care of it for me right away highly recommend them

Great Service! I found this great place when Pep Boys backed out of doing an alternator replacement on my 99 540i leaving me stranded in there garage. Arvada German Garage did a great job saving me from Pep Boys, they even gave me a ride back after I dropped my car off. A couple months later my window regulator goes out leaving the window stuck down, they fix it under there estimate, and in a couple of hours. Ill definitely be bring my BMW back here. Strongly Recommend

These guys are great! Jerad at the front does a great job with customer care, and their auto repair men are actually from Germany they started out at VW years ago and came to the US. Not only are they great at what they do, they are very price competitive. I took my car to get an alternator fixed at a dealership they wanted $800 for parts and labor. Took my car here and my bill was $350 with parts and labor. Half the price. These guys rock.

I took my BMW in thinking it needed a new belt. They drove it and a day later told me it needed $3,000. worth of repairs. Took the engine apart and charged me $254. just to get the keys back. Did not even put the engine back together, I had to sell the car way below blue book because the engine was torn apart. I got the $254.00 back only because my friend called the owner..............what a fiasco. I wish I would have taken pictures of the way they expected me to take my car. Every repair from them seem to be $3,000.00 I have to say beware! They dont deserve even one star in my opinion, it was the only way I could post this.

I have an older 3 series BMW...they have done a lot of maintenence and preventative as well as acute issue repair....I just had the fuel pump replaced (At a GREAT cost) and my car died again the day after..my radiator is dying...They are repairing my system, hoses, clips etc...at another unbelievably low price..why? Because they care about my safety...They stand by their work...take excellent care of their customers....and are all around amazing...Mike, Jarrod and Nicki - and the rest of the service team are top notch!

Took my 07 Audi A4 here for a timing belt last week. I usually do most of my own car maintenance, but this job was a bit over my head. Their prices were very reasonable (~$300 cheaper than other places for the same work) and the service received was awesome. A timing belt is a pretty big job, and there were no issues and all OEM parts were used. I noticed they also filled up my washer fluid for no chargeJared was awesome to work with, and went as far as to drive me home and pick me up when the service was finished. Will absolutely be coming back next time I need work done

Arvada German Garage got our Mini Cooper in quickly, diagnosed the issue in under a day, and even ordered the parts (and they arrived the next day) when we decided to fix the issue ourselves. They were great to work with and I recommend them if you need your car repaired in Arvada!

Honestly was very happy when i got my head replaced, but after two days of driving the car the serpentine belt that they replaced frayed and hit my timing belt causing it to skip and bend valves. Then when i had it towed to them they quoted me $5500 to put a new engine in which is not what i wanted done, i wanted then to replace the valves and this is not the first time they tried to get me to just put a new engine in. I would think after paying $4400 for the head and everything else that was needed(and some parts that were not) that they would actually be straight with me on what they would do. The excuse i was given for the new engine was that it was too hard to tear the engine down to replace the valves. I dont find that as any form of correct or right in any way. If you are seriously telling me that it would be easier to just drop a used motor in it instead of just replacing the valves like i asked, then there is something seriously wrong with your service. Also telling me that i didnt do the timing right after the fact that the belt you replaced had already thrown it out of timing, is just inconsiderate i put a belt on it and then had it towed to your shop. I am greatly dissapointed and i will not be going back here until things change. It is ridiculous that i have been told twice that i should put a new engine in it after i just put $4400 into the engine that is already in the car. I would like to have my car fixed by this shop for the fact that it was their work that caused the bent valves. A serpentine belt should not just fray like it had and it was not my fault or my work that caused it. I cannot believe that i was seriously told after all of the money i had spent that it was just easier to replace the engine and then quoted $5500 for it that is just ridiculous.

We started coming here in 2015 to have my wifes 2009 Mercedes GL 450 serviced. The customer service is exceptional. Prices are what youd expect to work on a MB. Highly Recommend this small business.

What a great alternative to an expensive dealship service center. Ive had some major work done on my 2011 BMW which included replacing a timing chain. Not only has the Arvada German Garage has proven to be very knowledgeable on my vehicle, but they do and overall great job and provide great customer service with fantastic communication.

So this review is a long time coming I have referred at least 100 people to Joe and Wrights German MotorsI brought in my Porsche thinking the clutch had gone out! When I called Joe told me he couldnt get it in right away but if I wanted to drop it off he would look at it in a couple days. Later that same day, Joe called me and told me he had adjusted the clutch and linkage. He would like me to come down and drive the car and if I still wanted the clutch replaced he would do that. When I drove the car it drove perfectly, obviously didnt need a clutch! Joe charged me $36 instead of $1,800 the clutch service would have cost, & now Im referring another customer to Joe, & Wrights German Motors my little brother!

I have been taking my Volkswagen there for only 2 years but, have had nothing but AWESOME experiences there!!! Ive been taking my car here since it was called 5601 Garage in downtown Old Town Arvada. Mike takes good care of his customers and he stands by his work - his new shop is super clean and he has a good crew working for him. I wouldnt take my BMW or any other German car anywhere else.

These guys are amazing. My N54 engine can be a finicky engine to work with and they did not hesitate to take on some cumbersome jobs. They are also the best priced in labor and super pragmatic on what repairs absolutely should be done or not. Everyone was on top of updates via texting or calling and on-time delivery. Im also a DIY mechanic and they were absolutely willing to walk through the process of their work and providing a BOM on what items were replaced physically. I plan to use these guys for my E92 for all my future needs.

After a oil change at this place, the warning light is still on, then I did a car exam at the dealer, they say the oil needs to be changed again. Also, I was charged $60 for a oil change with my own filter!
