Best place for shopping for Indian groceries and vegetables. The store is very clean and has almost all Indian groceries. There is a bakery inside the store which has fresh cakes and they also take orders and customize accordingly. The vegetables are very fresh and there is a variety of snacks. I would recommend this place for their quality and cleanliness.
Pioneer Cash & Carry is a one stop, clean well organized store where multi- ethnic Americans can buy fresh vegetables to spices and grains which are integral to South Asian cooking. I always find the employees friendly and helpful and are always there to help and translate the purpose of any item to Americans venturing into Indian cooking for the first time! I would not shop anywhere else as the store carries all we need for gourmet cooking! Thank you Pioneer Cash & Carry!
Its an awesome place to find fresh produce and imported goods from India. They carry bulk items which is a total plus! Only down part is the parking lot is always full. Literally always! This is the only cash n carry in the area though so that makes sense. There isnt a time I went that it wasnt crowded. (May even have to park on street/around corner)You do get timely service at checkout and dont have to wait too long in line. Employees are great. When I was in line, not even for a minute or so, a worker came and opened another check stand and I was outta there in no time.
The best store in the area, can find literally any Indian item I can think of. Sometimes Deep brand is out of stock but thats not on the store. Very well kept and clean. A little crowded but the satff is amazing! One time, I couldnt find two items and the girl at the checkout ran and got it for me (shouldve asked for her name) but overall amazing customer service, never encountered such a cashier, some of them just tell you the aisle number but this girl was really kind and helpful. I always go to her!
Always the best selection; fresh, clean and organized.
Best for Indian groceries, they got everything you need and much much more. I’m a Realtor always on the run and need quick in and out of a grocery store. This one is fast as they have many aisles always happy employees on the checkout. Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
Best place in CA region to buy Indian groceries and vegetables. You can purchase packed frozen food items that are imported from India.
This Indian grocery store is one of the best stores I have been around the area. Very clean and great variety of fresh vegetables whenever you visit. You can find almost everything you would need in this store.
They no longer carry huge variety of brands and stuff. Many items are out of stock. But that is still acceptable.People used to drive here as there used to be significant price difference. That is no longer case. Not worth driving from distance.
One of my favorite places to buy vegetables. Everything we South Asians need, is under one roof. Im especially happy to be able to buy a few of my favorite drinks, lassie flavors.
One of the biggest Indian grocery store. Lots of parking. Good choices of food items. Little busy but worth visiting.
Whenever you go to Pioneer Cash and Carry, its always busy and stocked. We love the bakery section as they offer eggless and freshly made products. Mostly all Indian vegetables are available here. If you dont get what you need at this location, then you can go to their original store thats on the next block. Though it is busy, parking is always available.
Spacious Indian vegetarian supermarket, good selection of produce and tons of snacks, packaged items like, grains, spices, etc. Always pretty crowded, hard to find parking or a cart. Its no Whole Foods, mainly caters to indian community who miss items from home.
Fresh vegetables, can find most of indian groceries you may need, good varieties in frozen section, faster checkout.,best Indian grocery store in So Cal.
A good selection of Indian groceries. Service is good.
Its a good place to buy all indian products and vegetables. Also you can buy cake and pastries...
Well run . Even though it was super busy at closing time. Lots of staff to check you out.
The store itself is pretty big for an Indian store. Organic choices are available. Parking is available right in front. But, I felt like this store is not prepared for the influx of shoppers, since they run out of shopping carts sometimes, and the cart maneuvering is not easy given the amount of space between the aisles. They should work on it to get a 5-star from me.
The selection and orgazation of goods is good, why I go there.I was there around 4pm 5-21-21. Spent over $100. The crowd was rather thin. At the checout, the girl did not pack or help put the goods in the bags I had brought. She told me she does not get paid to pack, while yapping with other girls. There was one person behind me who wisely decided to go for another lane.As reported by other shoppers, DO VERIFY expiry dates! It is about the general vibe and feel.I will minimize contact with such vibe.
A lot of Fresh produce to choose from. They also have there own parking space making it easier to park and do grocery shopping.
Great Indian grocery store, always busy and stocked and I love the bakery section as they offer eggless and freshly made items.
The go to place for all Indians in South Bay Area. Has almost all the Indian items you may need. They have expanded couple of years ago and now it’s more spacious and always crowded.
Best of the available options in Artesia for Indian grocery.
Prices are neat and no bump up for short supply which is good...crowded- almost all time
Nice selection of Indian produce, sauces and spices.Closing manager lady was friendly and accommodating. Friendly employees. Will be back again ♥️
Unlike most of the other Indian grocery stores this one is very well arranged and clean.
I am white so it was odd going into an Indian market. Although I was judged they had what I needed for curried rice and samosas. I am so thankful the employees spoke some English at least.
Its a small store but when I did my shopping in this store and found everything I needed. . Its super clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly.
Everything you need for Indian cooking, snacking and eating. Simply one shop stop in the true sense of the words. Awesome.
Everything under one roof. All the spices and fruits, snack and drinks and dairy. They’ve got it all.
Very nice for indian grocery.
Fresh vegetables, good packaged foods, free parking.
Great store - awesome choices, well laid out! Truly classy Indian grocerystore and not like old small overflowing stores of before...
Many choices. Fresh vegetables and produce. Reasonable prices. Plenty free parking.
Best place to get Fresh vegetables and Indian groceries
Probably the biggest indian grocery market in Artesia with very good pricing compared to others.
Five stars for my very first visit to an Indian grocery store. Ill add more about it and photos later! The Pani Puri all-in-one kit was worth a trip in itself❣️
Good variety, mostly stocked with all the products and reasonable prices.

Best Indian grocery shop for SoCal residents. The new pioneer located at 11700 183rd st Artesia has plenty of parking and parking is free. They have variety of brands available and at probably the lowest rates compared to other Indian grocery stores. Shop is specious. You get fresh veggies. Products are organized properly. Staff is very helpful.
Anything and Everything in Indian Grocery, food, snacks, frozen food, Ice Cream and what not. Good service.
Now a days they are charging double amount on everything. We need to bring some other india grocery store
This is my go to place for all my healthy spices and food!!
This Indian shop has everything you can ever need or are used to being an Indian. Love this huge shop, and the variety they keep in their grocery. We find everything we need to cook North Indian or South Indian food.
Excellent indian grocery store. Been going there for 20+ years now.
Great place to get British candy and chocolate
Mostly crowded because of fresh grocery items and many more. One stop for all Indian foodies!
There are many things that are expired such as Garlic mixture. We are in 2021 and I saw Andhra mixture and other things as best before Feb 2020 ?? Seriously?? Even the lays chips are so bland. Even reported to the customer rep at the store. I wonder if they will replace. Snacks are all expired. I really dont suggest to get snacks. Please please I advise to see expiry date before u put that in ur cart
Lots of free parkingWell stocked with South Asian grocery Items
Very good for Indian groceries. Our go to place.
Great selection of fresh spices and Indian staples. The pricing is very reasonable.
Great stop for Indian groceries.
Fresh Indian groceries!
Best place for Indian grossory near LA
The prices at this store are very high usually, but if something is on short stock in neighborhood store they may charge you $10-$20 for the same item.
Large variety, great location. That place is like mini Indian market. This cash and carry is the largest grocery store there.
Outstanding place I drove from LA to shop here, great place I will return.
Great place for groceries. You get almost everything.
Very clean. Helpful staff. Wide selection of products. I understand they are aimed towards only vegetarian things but a frozen seafood section should be good
Its well equipped and has a great choice.
Right place to get all indian grocery items. Those hindi songs that are played at store are amazing and create nice experience.
The best store to buy some niche Indian groceries and food items that you wouldnt find in most of the grocery stores.
Ample parking, clean, well lit store. Excellent varieties of produce and dry goods.
Excellent place to buy Indian grocery good quality.
Great place to shop Indian groceries. The store is huge and has almost everything you want in food. The items are also fresh and fairly priced. Only problem could be getting a parking spot. Though there is ample parking space available. Weekends can be more crowded.
Great place for Indian Grocery items...wide range and budget price.
All asian grocery under one roof well stacked n organized
We go there once a month to go for groceries.
Very good selection of Indian groceries, well organized, clean, and spacious. Produce seems fresh, but I felt the selection of vegetables could be a bit better. Im no expert on South Asian staples so I wont comment on the prices there, but the produce prices are really good. It would be nice if there was a bit more parking (its a sizeable lot, but I had trouble getting a space at 1 pm on a weekday). 11 am seems pretty late for a grocery store to open, so thats less than ideal as well. Overall its a lot more convenient than the old location down the block though, which could sometimes be hard to move around in because of how cramped and crowded it could be.
Very nice indian store. Feels great to be there and watching so many indians.
Really good and vadilal ice cream is too good specially rose pista malai
Spacious big indian store with all the possible indian products. Indian vegetable, Lentils, Rice varieties, bakery.
Didnt find tje indian oils or shampoos I needThey dont have lot of variety😞😞
