The best coffee experience in LA area.First of all, the coffee taste is great. This was a rare place that gave me a real coffee flavor. All other factors were great - Crews are friendly, the circumstance is cozy, well-managed and well-organized space, etc. I will come again, for sure.

A very remarkable coffee experience every time. I love their Honey Oat Latte and Honey Lavender Latte. You cant go wrong with any of their coffee options. Overall very cool atmosphere and there is a great outdoor seating patio.

Great coffee. I wish they were open earlier for when I go to work on weekdays and somehow if you can order ahead that would be great but just recommendations.

I like how the spot looks real classy and hipstery... the ices lattes are flavorful but not that strong tbh...but then again, I take 5 shots of espresso minimum..I do wish they had more flavors to choose from.. u would definitelycome back more often if they did.

This spot currently has patio and indoor dining. Plus if you sit inside you can have your coffee served in ceramic for here mugs. Its wonderful. Plus the coffee is great and staff are nice! Recommend!

Solid roasts, makes, and sells their own beans. The freshness is unreal. Everything is very fairly priced and they have good wifi.

Solid has some of best beans around. We love their Honey Oat Latte both hot and iced. Also love that they now bottle it (and even made it decaf for my pregnant wife!!)We go to both Artesia and the Bellflower location, both have amazing baristas!

Very cool local coffee shop. I was impressed by how comprehensive their menu is; they offer everything from basic lattes to nitro cold brews. They also roast their own coffee beans in house daily. Definitely one of the coolest coffee shops in the neighborhood!

Got their Vanilla Bean(?) Latte and Honey Oat Latte. The vanilla one was so good, full of vanilla flavor but not artificial. The honey oat was good, too, but too much honey for me. The honey seemed to overpower the flavor. The coffee itself was good overall and the staff were very kind.

Solid is an awesome and mellow place to do work. It has a hipster and clean feel to it and it has enough space to sit and work alone. Not so great for big groups, but a great work alone day place. Ordered a Matcha iced latte and its really good! Would recommend. Check this place out!

This is a Solid choice. Clean and modern it offers a spartan location. That gives a very nice cup of joe with well played music in the background. Good coffee and very friendly staff will help this place stand out and grow. Come before it gets crazy popular.

I have been here several times and Ive enjoyed the Matcha, Chai and London Fog with Almond Milk lightly sweetened. Today I ordered an Oatmilk Hot Chocolate. I love that they make their ganache with quality chocolate and that they have another alternative milk beyond almond. Im so glad theres another place to go near Js.

Love at first latte. Immediately became our favorite coffee shop when they opened nearby, now that we’ve moved, we go out of our way to visit this and the other location. Iced Vanilla Latte (half sweet) and Cafe de Olla are our faves.

Got the iced americano and it was pretty solid I admit. No bitterness and no complaints at all. They have straws and napkins at the pickup counter which seems to be overly neglected from most other cafes where you have to ask for one.Friendly baristas +1Bathroom inside.Parking lot is free and big enough.

Excellent single-origin pour overs! They roast their own beans on-site. Theres super fast Wi-Fi here! Seating is ample but usually taken by people studying or doing work.

From the setting to the staff and service and especially to the product, the coffee, everything was amazing.

I recommend this place for a nice relaxing coffee break. I come often during the day. They serve good sandwiches and the service is courteous. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Best coffee around this area.I usually get their cold brew. Every time I come and get it, the taste is unique. Sometimes floral and sometimes nutty, but has always been great.Their espresso drinks is also spot on.

Excellent coffee roasted on site. Baristas very competent. They also have a number of great not-coffee drinks as well. Nice avocado toast,. Their special addition are some slices of pickled radish, which is quite nice. I like the classic jazz playing in the background... Nice place to have a conversation or just hang out.

Went there to pick up some beans and decided to try a pumpkin spice latte while I was choosing beans. It was amazingly delicious. Excellent service too. 👍

Great little coffee shop. The baristas are friendly and know what the do. Since they roast in the shop it can get a little bit louder while roasting. I do like that place just minus one star for the noise.

Great beverages and exceptional friendly hospitality

This place is great for a study session or a quick catch up. I had their Green tea Latte and it was very sweet. Other than that I had a good experience. They also make their own mixture of coffee.

Not a fan of tables always monopolized by laptops and books.. just get it to go. Cant sit .. when did this place become the library?

Its nice to have a great coffee roaster in the area. The staff here is awesome and very friendly. They have only been open just over a month and are doing great! Please come by and try them out! We need places like Solid to remain in business a long time.

Comfortable cafe, good for studying, clean and cozy. I LOVED their Red Tea Latte w/1 shot and my boyfriend really liked their vanilla bean latte. Staff is courteous and parking plentiful. I will return again

They need to get more materials on hand. I usually go there to order something only to hear the avocados arent ripe, were out of everything bagels Dont be sorry or have pity, get it right the first time or get out of the food business. Having the goods listed on your menu and having excellent service is paramount-for christ sake its about to be 2018.

Most amazing pour over coffee ive ever had! Worth every penny, and their avocado toast was quite a few steps above what Id expect from a coffee house.

OK coffee place to get work done. Electrical outlets along the wide bench are very loose and your power plugs can easily fall out. The back of the bench along that wall is also very sensitive and can be annoying if people keep bumping into it while your back is on it. Coffee itself is decent.

The best coffee in the area just expect to wait. Cortado is so smooth, absolutely delightful. Chai and green tea lattes are also very good. Drinks are lukewarm so if you like hot make sure and tell them extra hot.

I am enjoying our local coffee roaster! Great atmosphere, great coffee. Just wish they would open one hour sooner.

The coffee here is simply superb. Generally, I am not into nitro cold brew because the fruitiness that is touted translates to sour coffee to me. However at Solid, the nitro cold brew has a smooth, strong coffee finish. The micro bubbles really change the mouth feel of the drink going down. Definitely, now my second favorite drink next to a quad espresso over ice. Their flavored drinks are good as well (though in general flavored coffee is not my cup of tea). The mocha was not too sweet and with a strong chocolate taste.As other reviewers have noted, this place is popular with the college crowd so seats are limited. The unlimited brew and cold brew refills is most certainly a key factor.

The vanilla bean latte is good, but the smoked salmon avocado toast lacks avocados.. they barely had any avocado on the toast.

Best coffee place to stay caffeinated with delicious coffee and get work done. Recently added a bunch of power outlets making it the perfect place to get work done in a nice air conditioned work space.

I was expecting a good pour over but the coffee was nothing special, expensive food, will not come back.

Im from Seattle, so Im spoiled for choice with great roasters like vivace and victrola etc. I was worried I wouldnt find anything in Orange county I could drink AND enjoy. Luckily this place showed up on Google. Damn good espresso, their doing their craft really well. Thanks Solid!

A cool and quiet place with a contemporary chic asethetic. Hidden away from the much busier and over-crowded sections of the surrounding area. SCR Makes for a more authentic coffee joint that is a great alternative to the more well known and frequented chains of the same market. Great for a meet-up, impromptu date, and a individual or group study sessions. SCR is just that small shop that has that more intimate and local feel. For those who want to try something new out of your daily routine. Id definitely go out of your way and give SCR a try!

So I decided to round down.I was there everyday from 12/18 to 12/23 and I tried cappuccino from three different baristas. Foremost, 3/5 of the credit goes to Earl the master roaster. This review is based on my 5 out of 5 experience.Beans: Guatemalan and Ethiopian blendRoast: MediumAmount: 18 to 19 grams of beans - equivalent to a double shotFirst Taste: Slightly acidic berries mellowed down by perfectly steamed milk.After Taste: Nutty! Not all baristas were able to get this nutty taste out. However, I give the benefit of dount that my taste bud wasnt functioning properly.Overall taste: Pleased... Satisfied...It was a pleasant surprise to meet a group of people who were as coffee enthusiasts as myself in Artesia, CA.
