Archery Outpost is my first choice of the 3 main archery stores in Orange County,Let me tell you why.First and foremost they have a family friendly atmosphere with the largest indoor range in orange county. The staff and Owner are very friendly and one of the staff members (Connor) Is actually a world record holder. however that being the case he is not stuck up in anyway. He was very helpful making a set of strings for my Pink Hoyt Vantage Elite, they came out wonderful after i let him pick the colours.I also love that the Owners dog gets to come to work and really adds a nice friendly charm.Thank you to the staff for getting me back into archery, you will have my business for a long time to come.

I wanted to find a Pro shop to purchase and set up a new compound bow for myself.I had an idea of what I wanted (an Infinite Edge Pro) and I really didnt want to purchase it on amazon or ebay. This time I needed it to be set up for me, draw weight, draw length, peep sight adjusted etc.Never being there before, I stopped in and inquired about an IE Pro and Andrew took 30 min setting one up for me just to try. Unbelievably awesome person! This was fantastic service so I called back later and ordered one. When I was there, I talked to The owner, the owners son and Andrew the Tech. They were really easy going people that treated a person very well. They didnt act in a rush and were quite willing to answer all of my questions and offer good advice with zero attitude. They were busy with customers as well and even the customers treated people with great respect. Not too far from my home, I found a great place to buy a bow, arrows cut to length & matched to my draw weight and length and plenty of accessories for my passion. With an in-house archery range and plenty of parking its worth it to give Archery Outpost a try.Best of Luck out there!

I came to Archery Outpost regarding a warranty issue on a new bow i received in the mail. They said they were able to ship it back for me since they were a retailer for the company despite having never done this kind of service before. I received my new bow about a month later and they put it together for me in the shop. They even let me get a couple shots in for free. They have great customer service, one of the best I have ever seen and a very knowledgeable staff. You will not be disappointed when coming here.

I love it here. There is a great warm family vibe and they want you to succeed in your archery endeavors. They combine my favorite things: archery and food. Come to a BBQ and stay awhile! Make sure to say hello to Laura, the proprietor. She makes you feel at home. And her home is like a ranch in the mountains. A true getaway from city pains.

I dont know why so many other archery shops have such attitude (like they know everything and their customers dont know anything) but it is refreshing to walk into a shop that personifies customer service! Seriously...the staff at Archery Outpost cannot improve...they are flawless. When you need em, you get 100% attention. Their technical skills are off the chart and Conner can help you get your bow in perfect order, tuned and provide world class instruction because he is a national and international archery champion! What you wont find at Archery Outpost is a superior attitude or somebody out to sell you something just because. THIS SHOP PUTS THE NEEDS OF THE CUSTOMER FIRST! I am a demanding customer and rarely encounter a business that exceeds my expectations...Archery Outpost did that. Truly impressive! They are simply the best...by a long measure.Bruce Carter

When my two 11yr olds and I arrived, we were told that the 1:00 slots were taken by a party. When they saw we were disappointed, they arranged for us to take a class. That was extremely accommodating considering they were booked.Faith was our instructor and she was so kind and patient with all of us.The girls had a great time and I am so happy they understand the safety and fun around archery. On a side note: the people that were shooting were also very kind. They were encouraging with us being beginners.

Faith helped my girlfriend and I select our first bows and arrows and she was fantastic. The process was several hours (the GF couldnt decide what she wanted) and there was never a moment we felt rushed. The entire staff is very friendly and has helped us with everything from answering questions to observing our shooting form and offering pointers. The store and range are kept up very well. I highly recommend Archery Outpost to anyone that needs archery equipment, or a place to shoot.

I chose Archery Outpost to purchase my bow in part after reading some of these reviews. There is a lot of talk of friendly, knowledgeable, staff. All I can say is I must have come in when this staff had the day off. The staff I dealt with today was adequate at best. I purchased a bow and accessories totaling over $2000.00. I was told I would get a call when it was ready which I did not. After several phone calls, I picked up my bow. I was told at the time I would get 3 days of lane and instruction. At no time was I invited to shoot or given personal attention. It was as if the lanes were reserved for club members and I obviously am not a member. After 3 weeks of owning my Matthews lifetime warranty bow, one the the limbs snapped while pulling it back. When I brought it in I was told that I dry fired it which I did not. They reluctantly took it in the back room and told me they would call me on it. They of course did not. I called and talked to the owner who was very friendly and she said they would take care of it, no problem and that one of the staff would help me resite my bow when it was ready. After all this, when I went to pick up my bow, I was told that it would cost me $200.00. After complaining, the bill was rescinded. Again I was not offered any help to resite my bow and I left a very unhappy customer and in no mood to shoot at this point anyways. I have been very disappointed and probably wont ever be back.

The guy seemed like he didnt even want to be there and was being very pushy and telling what I should buy instead of educating me.

I bought a recurve bow at Archery Outpost and was very pleased. The staff helped me get everything I needed setup. My friends have had good experience in the training classes, and the workshop is great to have in case something goes wrong with my equipment. The only complaints I have is that it has been hard to flag down an employee when you first enter the store, because most of them are wondering around the range, or in the back shop. The only other thing is that their inventory is not very extensive. There are many different accessories, but not too many actual risers/limbs as compared to some of the other shops. (Which is especially important to me, because left-handed risers are not as common)

I just got back from my first Visit at the Archery Outpost in Los Alamitos. And what a positive Experience it was! They put a lot of hard work and heart into this Place and make everyone welcome like they have known you for years. There is a 20 and 30 Yard Range with 36 Lanes to shoot your Bows. They have a fully equipped Shop with every accessory you can think of. Great Selection of Bows and Arrows. A Workshop with every tool needed to repair or tune your Equipment.Need to fine- tune your Bow and shoot through some Paper? No Problem, they have a designated Area for that as well. Even a Speed trap is available to check the Speed of your Arrows. The Rest Area upstairs is for you to store your Food and Drinks in the Fridge if you like and take a Break between Sessions. No overpriced Bar in Sight, just very friendly Staff trying to help you out wherever they can. I felt very comfortable to shoot there. For me, this place is much closer that “the other” Ranges, and the Prices to rent a Spot is ridiculously low.Private or Group lessons are available for those who like to get into this Sport.I can’t wait to see some of the special Events they have coming up, like the “Shoot in the Dark” on Halloween. Yes, I have become a Fan of this Place, go check it out, you won’t regret it.Edit:A few years later, they moved, down to South and Pioneer, I think.I checked out the Place, it was still not quite done yet. Some Folks were still hanging some Drywall and working on the Bathrooms.I purchased a new Target Bag and 12 Easton Arrows. They told me they are waiting for some Tips for the Arrows and they would call me when the Arrows are done, in a few Days.A week passed, I called and they told me that they werent done yet.Another Week, I thought of going Shooting there, showed up on a Sunday at 11:00 AM opening Time but a Competition amongst Youths was still going on.We had to wait another hour to get Shooting.Oh, my Arrows were done after almost 4 Weeks. The Fletchings showed a lot of residue from the Glue, and some came actually loose after a few Rounds of Shooting. Now I have been really trying to give these Folks a try because the drive out to Fullerton is a bit longer....but I am back with Hi-Tech Archery again where they respect my Needs.Sorry, I can no longer recommend this place.

Andrew Demofonte an employee of Archery Outpost uses information provided by customers on the liability release to find them on Facebook. Extremely unprofessional. I guess if you are looking for a stalker this is the place to go.
