The staff gave me service in a reasonable amount of time and the pharmacist was kind, professional, and helpful. It seems the downside everywhere is lack of employees, which isnt the existing employees faults, but it makes a huge difference when they have good attitudes and customer service, which they did. This CVS is much much better than the one in Crofton across from golds gym

Hands down the WORST service in all of Anne Arundel County. I am always waiting ridiculous amounts of time for medication to be filled to the point that a switched to another location. This complaint comes from an incident today. My wife went to the doctor and had a prescription sent over to this CVS location instead of the one we now go to. She walked in and the tech told her the medication will be filled in 30 minutes. The script was sent over 15 minutes prior to her arrival. 30 minutes go by, pharmacist tells her it’s going to be another HOUR. another hour? You’re kidding me. By the end of it, my wife waited 1.5 hours for her prescription (5 pills) to be filled. Absolutely ridiculous. This location is a must to avoid.

Nice easy place to pick up some small items, the self checkout kinda sucks sometimes but every self checkout has its issues. Idk I like the place, close to home and easy to navigate

Worst Pharmacy and customer service ever. I wouldnt have given them one star but it wouldnt accept nothing. The only pleasant person there is the pharmacist himself and he does things he shouldnt be because the other workers are so inept and incapable of doing their jobs adequately or in a timely fashion. They are so rude with the customers. I think they enjoy making you wait unneccessarily just to be spiteful. I was the only person in line, there was the pharmacist and 4 other workers and not one of them would acknowledge my presence. The pharmacist was on a phone call but at least he looked up at me and said someone would be with me in a minute (but they werent). They go out of their way not to have eye contact with you. Their immediate go-to response to a request to pick up a prescription is its not ready. I told the girl that I was texted 1/2 hr ago and I called the automated line to ensure that both of my prescriptions were ready, but she just wanted to send me away saying it wasnt ready when actually it was. If youre not firm with them they wont even look for it. Absolutely ridiculous. They love to blame their being inept on everyone else...it cant be their fault!!! I will NEVER step foot in that place again.I will say I have gone to other CVSs that are run so much better and the people are actually pleasant.

The dependability and efficiency of this pharmacy is abysmal, with the notable exception of pharmacist Chad B. . Despite the fact that my entire family orders monthly prescriptions of the same meds, its a crapshoot whether they will be in stock. The wait times for electronic prescriptions are horrendous. This is my pharmacy not by choice, but insurance directive. If you can choose another, do so! Chad is the only reason this joke of a pharmacy is still open.

This is the worst CVS I have ever had to use. The only reason I go there is because my insurance requires it. They never answer their phone. Today, I was on hold for 25 minutes only to hang up and try again and again. I finally got through and was told to call back at 5:00PM to make sure my prescrpition was ready for pick-up, I kept calling and waiting on hold with no answer, so I drove there and when I got there at 6:00PM, the pharmacist told me the pharmacy was closed and I couldnt pick-up my medicine until 10AM the next morning. I am over 70 yrs. old and I am not well. I need to start that medication. Now I have to drive back there tomorrow morning and wait in the pharmacy area until they have the time to give me my prescrpition. I dont know how long that will be, it could be hours. In the past I have waited for over 2 hours while they served other people and they didnt care if I got helped or not. Horrible service. Go anywhere else if you can.

The absolute worst drugstore anywhere near here. Go anywhere else if you want your prescription in a timely fashion. My prescription was called in on Monday. Shortly afterwards I received a text message telling me that my prescription was out of stock and needed to be ordered. I stopped by the next day (because they never answer the phone) to ask when it would be expected and was told that day after 5:30. I waited until Wednesday to go back. Was told it still was not in, but would be in after 5:30. I just went back tonight at 8:30pm on Thursday, and after being asked to shout the name of my prescription from the counter to where the pharmacy tech was standing, was rudely told that I havent had any prescription called in there since June. I showed the woman my texts from that store saying the my prescription was ordered, only to be told rudely and loudly, Im sorry maam, we dont have any record of that prescription here for you!

I try and do as much as I can online or through the app, but occasionally I need to actually speak to someone. No one EVER picks up! I tried recently calling off and on for over two weeks and no body ever answered the phone. Eventually I just had to go in. I do agree with other reviews that it’s one of the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered.

Worst pharmacy ever!!!! First of all, you cannot get a hold of them over the phone ever! (I’ve tried several separate times) it’s very frustrating especially since I work a full time job & just needed to ask them if they received my prescription so I could plan my work day around getting my prescription.Today I finally had the time to go through the drive through to pick up my prescription toothpaste. There was one car in front of me being helped & I had to wait 15 minutes. When I was finally able to be helped, the woman at the window RUDELY told me I had to wait 20 minutes for my prescription & to pull around & come in when it’s ready. I thought… the point of this drive through is so we don’t have to go inside, & that it was ridiculous to have to waste my time even more for a simple toothpaste script after the car in front of me got to sit there 15 minutes.

Gave them a 5 primarily based on their attitude and the effort they did in refilling my medications. Granted it wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be but they fixed that for me I just had to wait a few more minutes.

I used the restroom at this store at approximately 3pm today 3/13/21. It was absolutely disgusting. I don’t think I have ever been in such a dirty bathroom. There were feces and urine everywhere, and it was old. There was no soap. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!

Just had major surgery and always have a hard time getting prescriptions filled. Either I have to wait or come back in an hour or not available till next day. Then go up to hear I have to wait another 2 hours but call first which is a joke because no one answers the damn phone anyway.

This CVS is incredibly slow. We had appointments for a flu shot and the pharmacy was allowing walk-ins to skip us in line. Then the pharmacists said it would be a 30 minute to hour long wait after our scheduled appointment time. Not at all a functional operation.

While I was out, I decided to stop by this CVS to buy a photo album. At checkout, I asked about carepass and the cashier, Kevin, told me about all the discounts and how it is not a credit card. I ended up getting the photo album and another item all for $10! Kevin had phenomenal customer service! He was friendly, kind, and courteous. I couldnt believe the savings. I will enjoy the amazing memories in this photo album that I will be creating. Im really happy that I made this stop at CVS. Thank you Kevin for all your help and for the pleasant experience!

I wish I did not have to use this pharmacy, if I could switch i would. EVERYTIME I call I’m on hold for 15+ minutes just to speak about a prescription. And while being on hold they pick up and say please hold really quick and then put you back on hold before you can get any words out. Not sure if they’re understaffed or what the deal is. So inconvenient for being such a big chain. Do not recommend 0/10 from me.

Some of the most unapologetically slow service I’ve ever received, ever. Waited over an hour in line for testing and received really curt, unresponsive and apathetic service. Not even an apology for the wait. Understandably difficult time for healthcare and pharmacy workers, but this was especially poor service.

Worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. Not only did they lose my RX, they sent another RX to a pharmacy in Towson that I have never even been to! Very rude. Made a complaint to a supposed manager last week about my experience and nothing was done. Now today I am spending all day trying to find my own RX because the so nice CVS pharmacy told me its not their problem! Will never step foot in this place again!

WORST PHARMACY! I work at a doctors office and we use this pharmacy to call in medications per clients needs. I advise to not use this pharmacy. They are rude by hanging up the phone on us after weve been on hold for 10 minutes (no exaggeration) AND when they get frustrated. They have messed up a lot of directions on our rx for our clients. They arent helpful by any means. VERY FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH!! Whats even scarier is that they dont know what some medications are! I wish I could give it a 0 star rating.

I have never had problems with CVS until this store. Phone does not work (4/9/19). When I recently inquired about a shingle vaccine -- they told me it would be available in a year. I got one at Giant. I had to call my doctors office multiple times and went to CVS in person and could not pick up my prescription -- finally CVS got it right after repeated phone calls and visits.

I dont understand why a pharmacy, with no less than 4-7 people, working in the area, at any given time, cannot answer the telephone in under 15 minutes. Its ridiculous. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

I think the pharmacy is great. They have been helpful almost every time. There is one lady in the pharmacy that is not nice, but everyone else is great. I needed heart medicine for my dog and they were able to find it for $50, where as I paid $150 a year ago at the Safeway off Housely road.

The worst CVS by far I’ve ever experienced. I called ahead they said my prescription would be filled in 30 minutes. I waited an hour because I had heard bad reviews of this place just to be certain it was filled. I pulled up to the window with two young sick infants and they HADNT EVEN STARTED IT. Asked me to move my car and they’d let me know when my children’s medicine would be ready. NEVER COMINF BACK!

We encountered the worst pharmacist at this location! She was the one in charge - black hair and glasses. So rude and so unprofessional! Talked down to a senior citizen when they were asking a question. We left called the Severna Park location got our prescription no hassle no problem. Will NEVER use this location again. It is worth the extra miles to go down the ride to Severna Park!

I just moved to the area and have always had good service with CVS; it’s where we always get our scripts filled. However, this location is awful. Drive thru teller completely lacks customer service and basic social skills- the pharmacist was full of excuses. I will drive the few miles up the road to Severna Park from now on. Best to avoid this CVS.

Go to Arnold Professional - CVS sucks. This place is awful, just like I knew it would be based on every experience Ive had with CVS. I had to get a script filled here as my proper pharmacy, Arnold Professional, couldnt fill it due to Caremarks corporate nonsense. Maintenance medicine they call it. I call it legalized monopoly.At CVS, they told me first that I had to wait an hour for a very simple refill, and then when I came back, waited another hour and it still didnt get filled. The guy who got my information had to ask for it twice, couldnt remember what I just said, then told me he would fill it, told me to wait five minutes, then WALKED OFF and didnt do it.The pharmacy assistant seemed more put together, but due to corporate BS she had to give priority to the drive through. Thats right, people too lazy to get out of their cars get helped before the people whove been standing there for two hours.The poor pharmacist had a crowd of people waiting because the crackhead who was working the register got distracted. She said it was a corporate staffing problem. No, its a corporate corporate problem. Thats all. Never mind the four employees standing in the front of the store joking around and not doing a damn thing. This is what progress gets you. Five thousand locations for your convenience to stand there NOT getting your prescription filled. The whole lot of them arent worth one proper neighborhood pharmacy.

I agree this place is not great. Its OK, but compared to even the two CVSs that I go to on Riva Road (one at 2666 Riva Road, the other 2601) this one is pretty sad. I have no problem at the 2666 location, and rarely any at the 2601 location (and the traffic at this location is MUCH higher than this Arnold pharmacy). They are slow, they seem to be out of a lot of medications, they seem kind of lost. Its very strange how many issues Ive had there over only 3 trips, but Im not the only one I know. And the reviews here tell me this is a problem in general. I hope they get it together soon because it is a very convenient location for me.

Ive had good and bad experiences here with the pharmacy. When the regular pharmacist is there, the service is good. When they have the fill-in person, its the rudest, most unhelpful service Ive ever received.Ive had some of the issues at the local rite aid as well. Just a lack of problem solving skills or want to with pharmacists in general. Its a customer service business, but lacks the service part. Anyone can count pills, not everyone can solve problems. If I could use another pharmacy, I would.

Ive been on hold this morning, on and off, for about 60 minutes (and its not even 10 a.m.), waiting for ANYONE in the pharmacy to pick up the phone. Ill be changing pharmacies. AH! Ive just found out why no ones answering: The pharmacist hasnt shown up for work (they dont know why and say this is unusual) and the techs are unable to open the pharmacy.

This is by far the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. The staff is incompetent, and seems bothered anytime you ask them basic questions. I have refilled prescriptions several times either by phone or online, and was told the prescription would be ready within a few hours, only to find out upon arrival that they dont have the medication in stock. After reading the other reviews here on Google, it seems Im not the only one thats had this problem. Each time my medication wasnt in stock, they told me it would take 3-4 days for them to get it in stock. How do they think that its acceptable to tell someone they have to wait 3-4 days for a prescription that has to be taken daily?!? Ive never had this problem at other pharmacies, even with the same medications. If you live in the Arnold area, DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!

This place is completely incompetent. go to the Safeway across the street. Of the four patients Ive seen at the pharmacy in the past ten minutes they havent gotten a single thing right. I came to pick up my special order prescription several hours after they said it would be ready. It turns out they took my prescription and never actually ordered it. Ive now been two days without my daily medication with no clear fix. dont go here.

They dont have barely any rx meds in stock yet cause they so new and when they did fill my rx, it was put into a wrong container which made me struggle with my meds cause not all meds are pills. One bottle doesnt fit all. There were minimum things out in the store shelves too and this has been within past 2 weeks. Hopefully theyll become better. The pharmacist, she wasnt knowledgeable at all and was unable to answer my questions regarding my rx. The other girl in pharmacy was playing on her phone whole time.

Terrible experiences with the pharmacy. The times I have had scripts filled, they don’t have what I need in their stock. I have several that are filled. We were even told go to Riva location because they had what was needed. These are meds for high blood pressure and diabetes etc. How can you not have these ccommon ?

Rude staff and extremely slow. I work in healthcare, be better! The pharmacy tech had no idea what she was talking about and had the audacity to be extremely rude.Never again. Switching to a pharmacy further away to get better service.
