I bought a bedframe for an antique headboard and footboard. DRCV1L. I have had ALL kinds of trouble with it (not their fault). The shippers ripped the box open and STL sent replacement hardware RIGHT away. I didnt buy enough crossbars because I have a split box spring so it was falling through in the middle. Another order sent like lightening. Now the hook wont stay put in the headboard slot and its wobbling. No problem! Here comes more hardware as a stop gap!. They got on FaceTime with me to see and advise, answered the phone while the store was closed, popped back emails within minutes, remembered my name, and treated me kindly and with a sense of humor EVERY time. This is the way service should be, but you NEVER find anymore. One bed frame doesnt make them much money, Im sure, but they treated me like I ordered a thousand mattresses. Ordered a full-to-queen conversion bed frame and it worked out great, very easy to assemble with clear, simple instructions. They even called to confirm the order and make sure I took specific measurements so it would be the right size. Had a small issue with the delivery (on FedExs end, no fault of STL Beds) and they were very quick to fix the situation and follow up to make sure it was resolved. I bought a frame to convert a full bed to a queen, after placing the order a representative called and asked a few questions just to make sure I had ordered the right thing, most appreciated the call. The frame came within 3-5 days, even with the Thanksgiving Holidays. It arrived exactly on time.Very satisfied with the product, it was easy to put together and meets our expectations entirely.

I purchased a heavy duty king size frame from this business in preparation for a new mattress/foundation set we purchased from our local furniture store. It is excellent. It really took the bounciness and sag out of our old bed. It honestly made so much of a difference in the bed performance that we very likely could have avoided replacing the bed for a few more years, but the replacement had already been purchased. It supports the new bed equally well. I had no idea that a bed frame could make such a difference. STL Beds shipped my frame within a couple days and it arrived quickly. It was straightforward to assemble and only required a large flat head screwdriver for assembly. Ill certainly return to these guys next time I need a good quality bed frame.

After spending most of a Sunday looking at beds at the bigger stores my wife spotted this place from the car and we went in not really expecting too much. Doug greeted us was very nice knew everything about all of his products he was selling. Told him our budget found a great bed we both loved told us it would be a couple weeks wait because they didnt have it in stock but waived the delivery charge for the delay(which we didnt ask for) two days later doug called said the bed is in already and was delivered that evening. These guys saved Christmas for me. I have family coming in for Christmas and desperately needed a new bed frame for guests to sleep on. I ordered well ahead of time from a different retailer, and even taking COVID delays into account I should have gotten it with plenty of time to spare. Such was not the case, and they called 3 weeks before Christmas to let me know that they couldnt fulfill my order until after Christmas. So I bought another one from another place and...nothing happened. Never got any communication from them, tried to call and the line was dead, emails got kicked back; honestly they may have gone out of business. Bought a full to queen low profile from them online. Worked great and owner called me to check measurements prior to sending. If over certain measurements between width for hooks would have needed a different set. Happy they went over and above prior to shipping. Highly recommend

4/30/2020Excellent product and outstanding customer service! I bought a bed frame support with three legs to replace the slats on our bed which were sagging. Not being very handy, I had some minor issue in the assembly. I called STL and Doug, the co-owner, walked me through the assembly process, sending me pictures so I got it right. Several hours later, in the evening, Doug called to make sure everything was ok. I then told him I had a problem with the foundation which was wobbling when I put it on the frame and support. I later found out the slats in the foundation were warped and it was not a problem with their product. I bought a new mattress and foundation and couldnt be happier. I highly recommend STL and their products!

We originally purchased a bed frame set from Macys Furniture, but the delivery was incomplete. We did not receive all of the parts. Macys did provide a refund, but the customer service was terrible and we were left with an incomplete order. Since it was sold out they said sorry. I found STL beds after doing a lot of online research. All we needed was the frame. After placing the order, the owner actually called and emailed to discuss our order. Doug thoroughly discussed what we had, dimensions, parts, instructions etc. I even sent pictures. Now, we will finally be able to put our bed together. Although I had done the measurements explained on the website, he called and confirmed the measurements were done and correct. Bed no longer creaks and moves when changing positions. My wife and I no longer wake each other when changing positions.

The mattress and foundation are all that the web site said they would be. The articles on the web site were very helpful. Ordering was easy and the delivery was on schedule. Back around Christmas my wife and i had purchased a king size mattress and we needed a good frame to support it with. I started with stlbeds and told the owner my story. He showed me the Amish built frame that they had as well as demonstrated its stability. He then encouraged me to check out all his competitors which i did and for quality to price he beat them. Great guys, great products. Very confusing for me to convert from a waterbed to conventional bed but keep the waterbed frame. They made sure I got the right product, a drop in mattress, slightly smaller than a regular mattress so it would work with my frame. I dont think Ive ever had better customer service in my life. If you ever need a new mattress, these are the people you want to talk to!

My fiance and I are very happy with the mattress we bought here. Its a 2-sided mattress so it will stay comfy much longer than the single sided ones you find everywhere else. Best place in STL for an organic latex mattress. So many latex options and I had the best mattress shopping experience. Im only 30 years old but I imagine this is how mattress shopping was like for my grandparents before the horid chains took over. The owner worked hand in hand with a sales rep to explain everything there is to know about latex mattresses. It was more of an interesting educational experience rather than a sales pitch. They had latex samples and demonstrations so I left feeling really educated about the product.The owner was such a nice guy. Very smart and friendly. He really cared about his mattress sourcing and the eco impact of the mattresses he carries. Such a wonderful sales team. Highly recommend!

For months I had to take the continuous squeaking of my old frame as a natural part of my sleeping conditions. Get into bed, get out of bed, sit on the bed, turn around while sleeping and other things in bed all included a horrendous noise. Since I got the STL Queen Size Heavy Duty Frame, not a sound. Easy to put together. Well built! Only one observation, the screws could be a bit longer, so it would make it even easier to align and tighten. Since the metal frame is not aligned to perfection, a bit of strength may, this probably dont happen with all frames, be necessary to press the two metal parts together until the screw and nut can begin to be tighten. After that is a breeze. I did it by myself. Some people may need help. But dont let this stop from buying it.Its cheap, strong, and there wont be any more squeaking of your frame.

I havent experienced the level of customer service as I did with STL in a long time, if ever. I ordered a bed frame to fit a 10yr old crib with the goal of turning it into a full sized bed. Doug took the time after I placed my order to call me, unprompted, to discuss the frame and make sure that it would fit my crib and my needs, and ensure that I wasnt wasting my money. What company makes that kind of effort now? Most just take your money and leave it on you to make sure you ordered the right thing. I am very greatful for the time and effort put forth by STL. Ordered a King Size Big & Tall bed frame. Unfortunately one of the legs was damaged during shipping. I called and spoke with Doug who took care of the issue right then without hassle. Everyone makes mistakes but its how they fix it that matters, & STL did an A+ job.

I was a little intimidated to do this by myself. My husband is such a klutz and I knew I am better at these things than him. So after a few weeks of looking at the box in the corner I figured now or never. It was the easiest system to put together and its so well made that I had no problems with any of the steps. I was done in an hour and I now have a very secure bed that I love again!! I would highly recommend this system!

I wanted to convert my wifes grandmothers antique full sized bed to a queen. I found STL on line and they have an adapter kit for that. The old bed had unique fasteners to connect the old rails. i called STL and discussed it with them. I even sent photos of the fasteners. They recommended I get the bolt-on rails and bolt them to the head and footboard. The parts arrived in just a few days, and the conversion went easily. Im pleased with the result.

While looking for a mattress store online I discovered a store that actually still sells traditional waterbeds! I had given up on finding a real waterbed a long time ago. So I chose to go check out this store, STL Beds, for a new mattress. Upon arriving, every part of my experience with STL Beds was astounding. Doug was very knowledgeable and explained how waterbeds have evolved and answered all my questions. He was extremely dedicated to helping me choose the right mattress for me. Every part of my experience of finding the right mattress and bed frame was outstanding. Doug gave me a great deal and even delivered and set up my bed today, right after I bought it! I cant say enough about the great experience I had with STL Beds.

Best King Bed support system Ive seen. Take a couple minutes to set up, but directions are great so no sweat... real steel frame, not the cheap stuff. Worth every penny!

We have used Stl beds twice. Once for a frame for our Tempur-Pedic queen bed and now for our Tempur-Pedic king because the weight of the mattresses need a heavy duty frame to support them. While we only bought frames here, the gentlemen that helped me were very friendly, knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend going there for all your bed needs.

Very good customer service. STL Beds called to insure that the frame I was ordering would work for me. After conversation with STL Beds I knew I would have to modify the frame slightly. I did, and the frame worked for my application. Fast Service. Good customer followup, Made in USA.

Very happy with the product, it was a hard to find bed frame that was for an old cannonball bed. Worked out great! Unfortunately I do have a small complaint. Dealt with a couple of gentlemen there and one of them really needs to work on their people skills. This was an online order and delivery was fast and prompt. Almost a five star rating.

We were so thrilled that STL Beds worked with us to end up with a mattress for what was a waterbed using the waterbed frame!! Doug helped a great deal so that we could end up with a mattress that suited us very well. The whole experience was great working with friendly people . I should mention that the handmade mattress fit our bed frame just wonderfully...a CA Queen size which isnt made any longer!! Yea for STL Beds!!

Was looking for a heavy duty bed frame that would support us larger folks. Found the perfect frame online with STL! Shipped quick, and super-easy to set up. Its sturdy and doesnt move out of position like the cheaper bed rails we replaced it with. Awesome product and would definitely buy from them again!
