Greg and Stephen both went above and beyond to make buying a vehicle as easy as possible. The fist vehicle i purchased was having transmission problems and they were able to switch me out into a different car. I really appreciate them staying late as well to get the paperwork done.

All words no show. I went in since I kept seeing ads for $250 and can drive home with a car. Not true, they told me I needed $1500 down and could only get a car less than $11000. Which the salesman Stephen told me they only had one at that lot. You know didn’t even look to see what other stores had or anything like that. Also while waiting for “the manager” to see what they could do for me the salesman sat there and played on his cell phone. He says oh you can go look at the cars on the lot and I will come find you. Don’t even offer a water or anything. While I did look at the cars before hand they had cars out there still trashed on the inside. Like couldn’t you put them in the back or something. I do not recommend this place at all.

Bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot in may of 2020. Within one year the transmission blew and needs replaced. I agreed to have them replace the transmission for a cost of $3,420 with me paying $1,700 as a deposit. After the deposit was paid, a week later of my Jeep being at their shop I called to check the status.I was then advised that although my payment was taken nothing has been started because they needed me to sign paperwork that I was never informed of. I went in to sign the paperwork so I can get my transmission in and I can get my vehicle I need to commute to work everyday finally started on.When I went in first I was told that they never received my payment of $1,700 then after checking I was advised they did in fact receive my payment but they applied it toward the balance owed on the vehicle instead of the repair. So now we are at two weeks gone by since me paying a deposit and no work has been done. I today, signed the paperwork and they switched my payment to be applied toward the correct thing (the repair).Now being told it could be another 7 to 14 days. Which would make it 3 weeks or more after paying a deposit for work to even begin.Long story short, bought a $10,000 Jeep and within a year needed a new transmission and once I agreed to pay for the transmission it has been nothing but headaches and mess-ups delaying we work to begin. I do not recommend this place at the current time

The process was pretty effortless and quick.Approved in minutes. Nice selection of decent cars. The lady who was in training at the front desk was really really nice. Everybody else was ok. Sales guy was alright. Just glad to have got the car I wanted. Guess we will see how it is as time goes on now.

They are aweful we bought a car that has had to be fixed more times in four months than I have ever had to for a beater car they are rude. On top of all that we have called BBB just to get them to fix our car because they said they fixed the coil packs which they only fixed one and they also put hose clamps to hold on the plug wires so in my opinion they shouldnt even get one star. Oh by the way this is the Arnold, Mo location.

Still under warranty and hope they fix it per the warranty and Ill give them 5 stars. Updated 2-5-2020. As they promised per warranty they fixed the car and fixed it fast and it runs like a top. Salesman was nice, hes a salesman he has to be nice. I took my vehicle I bought back within a week of buying it because of a leak and the service department was very rude. Just a bunch of guys claiming to be mechanics. They didnt like the fact that I was calling contact 2 for help and they threw my keys at me and said they would not deal with me any longer. I just wanted them to honor a warranty which they did not. I will never buy from them again and dont recommend anyone else to buy a car here, worst experience ever. I thought what a way to treat an Army Veteran. I am very disappointed with them. You would be better off buying something from a more reputable company. Thats just my opinion but just remember you have been warned!

Account managers are very rude. Tried to pay off a car for a family member and the account manager, Jane, was judging me and asking personal questions that had nothing to do with finishing the payment. She made me feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

Purchasing a car from InstaCredit automart has to be one of the biggest mistake I have made in my adult life. I purchased a car THURSDAY and the following MONDAY the car would not crank at all! I spoke with the Robert (Operations Manager) he was absolutely the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke to in my life.I asked to not be taken advantage of and I feel this is exactly what happened I wouldnt advise anyone to purchase a car from this location.I am very disappointed.I asked to speak with the owner and was denied, Just giving a heads up DO NOT DO IT!

Love my car! I have had it 1.5 years and not a single thing has had to be fixed except minor things like a gas cap and a visor hook. Not only that but I have repaired my credit and have been able to get things because of it. Completely recommend!

The ladies that work behind the customer service desk, both finance and auto areas are not people friendly. When you deal with the public on a daily basis, you have to be a certain person with a certain respect to people. You can even fake it as long as it shows at least some effort. Customer service is a hard job, i know that but please dont be rude to people.

Highly disapointed I make 2500-3000 dollars a month . They refuse to accept all of my hourly income plus all of my commission there for they asked for 3000 dollars down with a very high car note still. Even the rep said that I had very good income but they still refused to take all of my income. How does that work.
I had the pleasure of talking to the God of Insta Credit Automart. This is the second car I bought from them and I thought that as a returning customer I would be treated nice. Boy was I wrong! This company has absolutely NO customer service. First they falsified the safety inspection. I had the car less than 3 weeks before the breaks went out completely. We almost got into a complete wreak on 44 because we could not stop. Then when I asked for a copy of the bill of sale for the tow company I was told that I had to come down and sign a paper, great except for one thing, I dont have my car. Here is an idea the tow company has to verify my ID in order for me to get my car. the God of Insta called me sweetheart in order to in his words calm me down as a father would, excuse me my dad does not call me sweetheart. Now the suspension broke in my car, please keep in mind this 2 months of me having the car. OK I will pay for it but hey in order for them to do the work I need to sign a piece of paper, OK can you email it to me, beings well you have my car and it is 30.00 UBER ride each way to sign the paper. I was told that it is not legal by them. When I pointed out to them that I work for a law firm and it is legal I got back to and told that they are not changing policy for me. Then the God says there is nothing he will do. Now I have been in customer service for many years and I have NEVER talked to anyone like this, when asking to speak to his supervisor he told me he was it, the God of Insta, I was not allowed to talk to anyone else but him. This man should be fired as he has no customer service and now has lost not just myself as a customer but everyone else, as I have recommended Inst to many of my friends and now I am letting them all know about how bad they are!

Went in to see a vehicle. A supposed special 250 a week needing to bring home 1000 a month and also all you needed was 250 down for a vehicle. A complete lie and waste of time. They wanted 1500 down and didnt even give me enough for a car. Should of saw the red flags when I saw Store Manager working alone and no other car sales reps. Went to the location in Ofallon Illinois. Dont Go!!!!!!
Car shakes when coming to a stop but service department couldnt find the problem. A second shop says its the CV axle and Im left to fix it on top of car payments.

I went into to this place looking for a honda yesterday with a thousand dollars down payment. I got approved and they told me they had hondas, but they needed 1500 down payment. So I left, I then managed to come up with the EXTRA 500, but when I came back today they said they didnt have anymore hondas? But we can put you in a Chevy cobalt they said. I dont want a Chevy I want a honda, This place is full of scam artists dont come here.
Friendly people, they will work with you. Cars are a bit over priced, but can understand to a extent considering the type of business they specialize in.
This place is nothing but a scam, stay VERY far away. They will sell you a car worth $3,000 for $18K. They prey upon those who are in desparate situations and then when you try to settle on the car and make final payments, they will not accept them. Not to mention, when I asked to speak to a manager, I was denied. Hopefully Mr. Hayes reads this, understands the importance of customer service and calls me back, b/c the experience thus far has been horrendous.
Me and my wife bought a Elantra gt still currently have loan had for about year or so now got great dea for a car with only 30xxx miles on it, finance is super understanding (Jane does an awesome job) if you lose ur job or something and is patient with working out any issues as long as u try me and my family love them very professional and a great service to the public population who has issues with debt and /or credit in their past.
Overall positive experience. One of the best parts of this company is the ability to online shop on both their website and their Facebook page.

Would not buy a car from them if they where the only car lot on the planet. Tried to sell me a $10,000 van that only bluebooks in the high $6,000 range. And they tried to push me into the car. Shawn the guy that we talked to was very rude. We told them what we where looking for and they said all we could get was cars that we did not need. So I would stay clear of them. They SUCK!!!!!!

Rude customer service & when you try to call your account manager they keep you on hold forever. Also, I literally forgot to pay my car it was due 12/06 and just accidentally forgot and they turn my car off. Horrible company.
Highly unsatisfied with their shady and illegal practices. Giving them 1 star is too much credit for them.They had on their website that they help customers build their credit back. The salesman confirmed it as well as the woman in finance that did the contract. At first, they reported wrong information to my credit report, told me to dispute it with the credit reporting bureau, then they refused to respond to the dispute. During the first 7 months they ran my credit multiple times without my authorization, let alone even making me aware of it. I attempted to resolve the situation through the BBB, then went to the State Attorney Generals office after that failed and the company continued telling me that its my problem to resolve and they have no responsibility for it. Now, I have been receiving harassing phone calls from them after I was put on their do not call list per conversation with Mike Marsh, chief legal officer. The woman that continues to call me, Jane, said that she was instructed to keep making contact. The phone calls are recorded and Missouri is required two party consent, Jane refuses to acknowledge that there calls are recorded. When I asked to be put back on the do not call list she refused. After I requested to escalate the situation and speak with someone higher, she flat out told me, No. Along with phone calls, she also sends regular emails.I highly recommend shopping around at other dealerships. This place is not one to do business with.

When I bought my car they told me it had been in a finder binder which I was ok with only to find out later that the car has frame and structural damage. This is just the first of my problems, because of the damage to the car it worth less then $2000 Im paying $13,000 plus with $2000 added on my credit took a major hit because I had to have the car refinanced for a replacement motor that turned out to be a salvage motor after getting my car back I discovered they had unplugged wires that controlled the check engine light. I only found this out because the traction control went out along with motor mounts. I cant get in another car because Im so far upside down on this car its not funny.
I bought a car from here less than a year ago, and one day i go to start my car, and it doesnt start. apparently the reason behind it not starting is because of a payment box they put in the car that malfunctioned and wouldnt allow me to start the car regardless of the fact that ive never missed a payment. i was charged close to 600$ to get a new box in with money that i dont even have just because their box in the car messed up. i spoke to someone from there to see if i could get reimbursed for this absurd charge, and not only did they refuse to pay me back for their mistake, but almost everyone i talked to was unnecessarily rude. last time anyone in my family is ever getting a car from here.

This place doesnt even deserve a half of a star but it doesnt give you that option. My life has been a nightmare from hell since november when we got our 07 Equinox. We purchased it on November 17th,2016 and bad to return to the service department on November 18th,2016. That was just the first time we had to go back. We were back multiple times for the same issue from November to February. In February they kept my vehicle for a week and when it was returned it worked okay for 2 weeks and then the same issues started happening again. When I called to set an appointment to bring it back in they told me it would be 60$ just to start diagnosing but that price was subject to go up depending on the extent of diagnosing that they would have to do because my warranty was now expired, but it was doing the same thing that it had been doing since we bought it. It is now August and we are still struggling to figure out whats wrong with the car. We didnt take it back to insta credit automarts service department because they are ridiculous we are a younger couple with 2 kids and 1 on the way. We went there to get a car that was dependable. We knew we would be paying more than the vehicle was worth but with our credit it was our only option at the time and we still go screwed over. We are due to have our baby in 10 weeks and trust me theres nothing like being 7 months pregnant and stressing because you have been screwed over and dont know how your going to get to your appointments, your kids appointments, work. Its just crazy. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. It has left me in tears multiple times. Its rough when you try your hardest and cant get ahead. Today will be another day of tears because my vehicle isnt operating properly and my kids have missed their appointments. How do you not feel like a failure as a parent when your doing the best you can and its not good enough. Thanks insta credit you guys dont seem to care about messing with peoples lives.

Amazing i am always going to come here and get my cars and i will tell anybody and everybody to come here to this location and get cars, the staff here at the arnold location actually care about you and your situation so they try so hard to make sure that you are not buying the car thats available they go a step further and get the car you actually want and they have the best customer service i have ever experienced at any car lot.... i love this location and i will continue to go back, i use to go to the Collinsville location but im glad i decided to come to the arnold location and i actually got the car that i wanted and didnt have a hard time getting it at all, and in 2 weeks my husband is going back to get him a new car now....lol
Not happy at all with the experience that I am still going through. I leased a 2003 Saturn L200 from them about 6 months ago, and Its been nothing but problems. The first issue occurred about a month ago and it costed me 300$ to fix. Well about 2 or 3 weeks later my car was broke down again, they took it in fixed it and it was given back to me. And then a week later it was broke down AGAIN, so they did the same as last time fixed it and I got it back. So a week later I was sitting in a car again that would not start, this time it was the battery, I paid 125$ for a new battery. I finally thought my problems would end there. Buuuuuut a week later (yesterday, February 19th) I had just put gas in my car, went to start it and it wouldnt start ONCE AGAIN. So at this point theres not much I can do. Im having to pay 125$ for a tow truck OUT OF MY POCKET, so they can deal with this lemon again for the fifth time in a month in a half. Im paying 6,000 for this car and was told its ONLY WORTH 500$. Its very upsetting as Im a young 19 year old who is working hard on her credit and Im in a situation like this, where it can easily be ruined because I dont want to pay for a car that doesnt run. They told me on the phone that they will have the sucky service department look at it, figure out whats wrong with it (which they never do) and well go from there. They owe me a whole new car that runs. Ive been loyal, I pay my 300$ monthly payments EVERY MONTH on time even though Im driving a lemon. Im pregnant and cannot be dealing with this kind of bullshit from these people. Bottom line is, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR LOT TO YOU. THE TROUBLE AND STRESS AND HEADACHE IS NOT WORTH IT.
