I was sealing concrete at my house when I came to the sad realization that I had not bought enough sealer. A quick check online told me that this Home Depot had plenty of the product that I needed to finish my project. I went to the paint department and asked if the concrete sealer was there and I was told yes and a really nice employee took me directly to it. Their stock was exactly what their online inventory said it should be. I was able to get more of the identical product, then scoot back home to finish my project. It looks great! Thanks Home Depot for having what I needed and being so helpful. BTW, their Behr Concrete and Masonry Sealer is the bomb!

One of my favorite toy stores to shop at. I can usually find anything I need. Friendly staff always. I even take my dog.

Great experience at this store. Awesome employee. His name was Avery. Very sweet, I asked for a 16ft board and he got it for me and cut 5-boards at 36. Loaded them in my cart. Such a nice helpful man.

It was very clean and spacious, but as I was looking at lawn mowers, no one ever came over to see if I needed help, matter of fact I never seen anyone. But the cashier was nice and polite, but didnt ask if I needed help loading, not sure if they do that though. But I would for sure go back.

We bought a new Zero Turn John Deere here this spring. When I got it the battery was unable to start the engine. The staff immediately switched it out for me and all was good. Great mower and a great staff at this location.

Still completely confused and taken aback. Went to purchase a microwave, they are low on stock, we expected this. No big deal can it be ordered? Yes it can! Great! However we cannot get it sent to the store but we can ship it to you...okay cool, but we have to charge you $50. What in the what? You dont have items in stock and you cant have them sent to the store but we can have an employee shop online for us and charge us to have it sent to our house. Nope!

One of the Best businesses in town. If they dont have it, theyre still willing to tell you where you can get it! Their on line product locator is flawless, and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

We purchased a linen cabinet and picked up on store. We live just outside of De Soto, MO, but had to drive to Arnold, MO to pick up our cabinet.We were able to exchange a plumbing part and purchase a shower handle while there.

This is my preferred place to go for everything from screws to my big toolbox filled with the tools I get from them as well. Excellent staff that are helpful and knowledgeable. I had a plumbing problem and the guy I spoke with helped me buy exactly what I needed to reconnect a sewer drain line perfectly the first time! Helpful and patient.

A couple of weeks ago Patrice was a great help to me in selecting a tile saw. She deserves a medal. Monday I purchased a Milwaukee P12 Combo Drill / Impact Driver set. Charged both batteries, Wednesday I drove 16 ea, 2-1/2 screws, and it died. The batteries were fine the driver was dead. I expect more out of Milwaukee Tools. The young lady at the service counter was apologetic and took my return with what I believe was a smile under her mask. Home Depot people are always helpful.

It was horrible!! ordered a mower online and paid online. sent me a txt saying its ready and we got there it took them over thirty minutes to get the mower.. it was still on top shelf wrapped in plastic with the rest of the mowers on the pallet on top shelf. yes it was not ready! missed 1 period of the blues hockey game!!!!

Selection of appliances was not as wide as other stores and employees did not check to see if anything was needed in the store.

Had to pick up some lumber the guys in the lumber department were great. Second to none. I was at the south Lindbergh store a few days ago needed needed about $900.00 worth of lumber no one would ever offer to help me load the cart and no one would help load it into my truck. I bought 35 bags of 40lb top soil and there wasnt anyone outside to help me. I loaded every bag myself. Guess it was a good work out but they put kids out in the garden area that care more about talking than helping. Other than that the inside employees are very helpful. I had 2 bad experiences there but the others were great 👍

Recently, I had a fantastic experience at Home Depot in Arnold. And it was all over a bag of bird food.Let me explain. That day, while in the store with my husband, I meandered off to grab a few things. As I walked, I noticed EVERY EMPLOYEE I SAW working very hard. It was a Saturday, so they were quite busy. If you’ve ever worked with the public, you know they can be demanding, demeaning, and sometimes downright nasty. But these guys were working hard to please. I notice these things.I bent down to try to heft a 20 lb bag of bird seed (with my bad arm, bad idea) and along comes Mr. Mike. He would not let me pull that bird seed out myself. A sincere gentleman. He would have had no idea I have a messed up shoulder. He was just there to help, sweet, quick, courteous, and kind. I thanked him, and he just seemed happy to help.It is not every day you get service like that. I am a Universal Banker and people are my business. I strive to treat them the way Mike treated me. 10+ stars for that man.Mike, if you see this, thank you for your kindness. It meant more than you know. And if Mike’s bosses see this, you had better treat him as a treasured asset, because that’s exactly what he is.

Decent experiences over the years here. The staff could be a bit more engaging. There has been a few times Ive visited and got ignored by the floor staff when looking for something specific. Other than that not a bad place to shop for home and hearth.

If you want to shop in a place where people wear masks, do not come here. I went today and there were several employees without masks. Some of the ones that did have masks had their nose sticking out.They also do not enforce customer masks. I saw several customers without masks and with noses sticking out of their masks.

As a business owner, my husband comes here regularly. The staff is helpful and the shelves are well stocked. I love being able to order for pick-up for him so he can just pop in and grab it on his way out.

Love the plant selection but must watch out for bugs in their plants..

After much research and visiting many quartz kitchen countertop retailers, we purchased Hallmark stone from HD. The ultimate reason we purchased from HD is because of Lynn M. Unlike some other retailers, she was sooooo helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She made recommendations that I wouldnt have come up with on my own. I went with her suggestions, and Im so happy I did! My quartz countertops are beautiful! Lynn is a gem! Hallmark stone was also great to work wirh.

Was going to spend about $500 dollars today. They wouldnt cut a board 24 inch board into 4 6 inch boards. I even offered to pay additional, but it was against policy.

Between Home Depot and Lowes I shop Home Depot if I am getting construction and materials for a job. Lowes I go to when I need finish and decor items.

I placed a store pickup order on Sunday that was supposed to be ready that same day. When I still hadn’t received a notification it was ready by Monday evening I called them up and the lady I spoke with told me they were running a little behind and that it should be ready by the next morning for sure. Okay, understandable, no problem. I still hadn’t received any notification by Tuesday evening so I called back again and was told this time the item I had purchased was out of stock (179 units in stock at time of purchase) and it would be at least three more days before it was ready. I kindly explained that I definitely couldn’t wait that long and would need a refund so I could go somewhere else and was hung up on.If I could give a negative star rating I would. Absolutely abysmal experience. Will not be shopping at this location again.

At least priced were good!3-5-2020 Most recent visit to Home Depot again couldnt find an associate to ask any questions finally a lady came up and asked if I needed help. Not long after a female customer came up. While I was making final decision associate went to help female customer showing her options on computer. Finally me and my wife found some chairs to sit and wait for her to come back. Needles to say Home Depot is not on my favorites list!

Extremely disappointed in Home Depot in Arnold Missouri today. We went in to purchase new exterior doors for our home. We asked for help to special order doors three times stood back there for over 30 minutes and then finally the last person that we asked tells us that they dont have anybody working in that department today. Why someone didnt tell us that before and why a home improvement store on a Sunday does not have anybody working in that department is beyond me. I asked to speak to a manager or at least he said he was a manager and he was of no help He said the person that works in that department called in sick today. So you have a whole store full of employees standing around and no one knows how to special order doors? I just find that so hard to believe They need to do some cross training or something. You would think the manager would know how to special order doors. But he didnt even offer to assist. So the, $4000 to $5,000 that we were going to spend will be going to Lowes.

The young worker in the plumbing department could only cut one pvc pipe because it was too time consuming. I went to Lowes instead and they were happy to accommodate my simple request.

Purchased a tile floor with installation. Measured and quote completed on Aug 15, 2020. Was told the installers were behind and I should expect 4- 6 weeks. Began trying to contact them at 6 weeks. They never answer the phone and only once have they returned a call when I leave a message. Finally, two weeks ago they called to set a date, which was to be tomorrow, 10/23. I stripped everything out of the bathroom in preparation, as I agreed to do, so I now have one bathroom. Then they called at 3:45 to postpone for another week. Im not confident they will meet this commitment, since prior commitments have not been met. I am not in a good position on timing or I would go elsewhere for my floor. For sure I am no longer planning to use HD for anything and am advising others to do the same.Follow-up: The installers also postponed, at the last minute, the next installation date. At this point I called Home Depot Home Services for an intervention. They were cooperative and had to lean pretty hard on the installer themselves. They had the same problem I had getting calls returned. But finally the installer called with a third install date- today, Nov. 3. They have not cancelled and I think they are going to show up. Will update. Update at noon today: Installer showed up at Home Depot to do the install, but then called me to say HD had lost materials. HD denies that and I believe them. But installer left HD and they cant get in contact with the install company to find where he is.

Was in need of a new dryer stat.. I am aware most places ship but some also have them in stock. I walked in Home Depot to shop and was met with rudeness. I looked around before I asked a employee and found some that were priced ok and the reduced take homesI stopped at the desk the lady said Ill be right with you then said I was actually off over an hour ago so I was sent the this lovely lady Lynn. I asked if there were any available for take home today. Lynn replied absolutely NOT. You will have to wait a week out for delivery. I replied OK well then I will go someplace else. She replies good luck its like that everywhere.... WELL Lynn, I did go to a few other places and Lowes had a selection of Dryers in stock and I took my new GE home THAT DAY. I will not be shopping for any appliances or major purchases at my local Home Depot...

My neighbor was having new floors installed and decided to change my baseboards. We made a quick trip to Home Depot as the contractor was already at the house. Jon Sandberg and Julie had everything cut and ready to go very quickly. Jon was very knowledgeable. Victoria was our cashier and then loaded the boards into the vehicle. Great service all the way.
