I haven’t tried their chocolate yet. I got this box as a present for a friend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make their chocolate right there in their little factory behind the store. If you’re looking for gifts, I highly recommend Artisan Confections.

Best chocolate I’ve ever had. Way better than Godiva.

Their chocolates are magnificent. My wife and I eat them slowly because each bite should be savored. I have eaten a lot of chocolate in my life, including in Europe, and this is by far the best I have ever had. Enjoy!!

Been getting their chocolates for years. Did a class once, it was a blast. Caramels are awesome... Well everything is awesome really. Worth every penny. Some of the best chocolate in the world and I have eaten a lot of fancy expensive chocolate from many countries that arent as good.

The chocolates from Artisan Confections are among the most appreciated gifts one could give. Good reason for that. The chocolates are extraordinary.As a gift they come gift boxed and wrapped in a beautiful setting. But my advise is eat them first before giving them as a gift. They are that good.

Little shop with the best chocolates ever.

This place has the best, most satisfying chocolates Ive had in a really long time. Their flavor profiles are top notch...salty caramels and realistic fruits and herbs (Fresh Mint is so uplifting, liquor caramels are sublime). Theyre small, but not micro. These chocolates are all you need when you have a craving...without adding all the extra calorie-heavy stuff.Plus, theyre so pretty :)

I used to come to Artisan Confections when it first opened and I was next door at the dentist again and decided to get some treats to take home. The store is beautiful and the staff are always helpful and conversational and knowledgeable about the candies. I picked up a box and am very happy with it.

I loved the chocolates, but couldnt say the same about the unfriendly owner, and a bit rude. People will always forget what you said or did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.I was going to place a big baby shower order, but I changed my mind because of him.

Definitely in my top 2 for chocolatiers in the NOVA/DC area. They use vahlrhonna chocolate as the base for their truffles- which is my favorite. They always have a good selection of flavors that has both variety and appeal, plus they have seasonal flavors so I always feel like I have more to look forward the next time I get some. I hands down recommend their caramels (not in the truffle case) and their Tahitian vanilla truffle. Delicious!

This is my go to for specials treats. The chocolates & caramels are wonderful, but by far my favorite is their peanut butter bar. I get them for every special occasion that comes up, and some that I makr up just to get a treat.

Oh, yes, yes, and yes. Jason, the chocolatiere-owner, has insane chocolate skills. The chocolate in his creations gives just the right snap, and the interiors are unique and delicious,subtle yet flavorful. Seasonal changes mean theres always something new, and thereve been a few that were so good I asked if theyd please make them permanent (like the Lemon Almond). If youre okay with mass-produced chocolate like Godiva, youll probably be unclear what the happy fuss is about Artisan Chocolates and complain about the price, but hey, thats fine -- that just means more for me.

Great quality chocolates!Ive visited most top chocoaltiers in the DC area and Artisan Chocolates makes some of the best chocolates, better or equal to any others (including much more expensive DC competitors).

I feel like I have to come up with an excuse for why I didnt enjoy these chocolates as much as everyone else.Maybe I was too distracted by the beautiful and colorful decorations to fully comprehend all the amazing flavors that were exploding in my mouth?Maybe the chocolate croissant and banana bread topped with dulce de leche I had just consumed 20 minutes prior at Leonora Bakery had put me in such a sugar overload my taste buds could no longer tell the difference between one type of sugar and the next?Maybe Im so obsessed with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups Im incapable of appreciating any other type of chocolate?Im not really sure, but I wasnt overly impressed with these chocolates. They are really pretty though.
