Third time in this shop and had the same bad experience each time. Old woman with white hair didn’t say hello or goodbye to us. Didn’t even look at us at all. Would have purchased a few gifts, but will not spend a penny here. Poor customer service.

My wife went there today and told me the woman at the shop was not very nice. A small business like this should make an extra effort and be attentive with their customers, I dont know who they think they are.

This is Georgetown in Arlington ! Fancy & stylish clothes in your neighborhood. Friendly staff, and no problems with parking. Have brunch at Cassatts, shop at Lemoncello and get some sweets to celebrate with your family from the pastry shop on the corner...all with one car stop. Time is pretious !

Nice little boutique in Arlington

A little after 7pm on Thursday, August 28 I was looking at the hours Lemoncello Boutique was open because I wanted to purchase some things for me, three upcoming birthdays, and a wedding. They had been closed for over an hour. That’s when I noticed a candle was burning with a high flame and was very close to flammable materials (pillows, clothes, scarfs). I spent the next 30 minutes trying to contact the owner. I went to their Facebook page bc that was the only social media I could find. I did searches trying to find the owner’s name. Then I went up and down to the other shops asking if they had contact for the owner. By some miracle a woman shopping at Arrowwine said she knew the owner and would call/text them. Not even 10 minutes after she reached out I saw the owner rush out of the store. I walked over and say, “I’m the one who discovered the candle and tracked you down.” He replies with a not very courteous, “Thanks.” I then add (bc I’ve worked in retail), “Not sure if your workers have a closing check list but you may want to add checking candles as part of it.” He responds, “Well I have insurance (he laughs). It’s fine, it was my fault.” As he says this last part he walks quickly away and puts his back to me. I reply, “You’d think someone would be more appreciative.” This owner didn’t care I took over 30 minutes to track him down. His negligence could have not only damaged his store but the stores of the whole shopping plaza, where the majority are independently owned small businesses. I try to support independent, small, and local businesses. But after his disregard and lack of gratitude I will never shop at his store. What he didn’t know is that I had a budget of about $775 I could have spent. But nope, not going to spend my money there and I encourage everyone in Arlington to go to the other shops that have similar products. I just can’t get over how rude he was.

Nice things but, horrible staff!!They did not bother to say hi and did not want to look at the dress I was asking for. Worst staff ever I have encountered in my life!Dont ever come there if you are looking for good staff or good stuff.

What a fabulous find in Arlington!Perfect for day to night, amazing accessories, Scout bags, not to mention their sweet children’s items like Kissy Kissy, and your favorite brands, e.g., Trina Turk, Vineyard Vines, Tahari, etc. They have a range of seasonal wear and classic looks, from cashmere wraps to baby (or grand baby!) baptism, and non-wrinkle, tencel travel leisurewear.Personally, I love the matching dresses for me and my girls! And especially the ~$15 bling letter necklaces which, plus the Scout crossbody bag, makes a perfect children’s birthday gift! Keep up the amazing work! A+And for those commenting: Please note that Lemoncello would have a perfect 5-star rating, but people continue to offer reviews of the former occupant, Lemon Twist (think Vera Bradley).Go check out the NEW store again before leaving a review!
