We have used Bruces Tire for over 25 years for all our vehicles. Lately we have used Summer Street Autocare for our out-of-warranty work too. Ken has never disappointed, and now that Bruce is retired, I dont see any change in the prompt courteous and professional service Bruce always gave us. Thanks go out to the whole staff, and to Ken, as the work environment is obviously very positive, and that comes from the top. I am happy to have such a trustworthy local service provider for our cars!

Bruce’s Tire ordered, mounted, balanced and installed a tire on my CR-V in less than one business day. The service was first rate and the price was reasonable. They even reset the TPMS and left the screen on the display so I would know it was being calibrated. Nice touch!

I needed to have a new set a tires. The local dealership quoted me about $1000. Bruce’s Tire & repair got everything done for less than $750. All four tires replaced including installation. Dan and the office staff were polite, courteous, professional and easy to work with. Ken, the head mechanic has tons of experience and is very knowledge.

There was a plastic piece under the front of my car that was hanging down and I needed it to be checked out. I brought the car in early in the morning, it was fixed up in about 45 minutes. The guys were very nice and did a good job at a reasonable price. I would come here again.

Caught a flat tire and needed it fixed day off. They were very accomodating and got it done. On the plus side its right by the minuteman bike path so I could bike over to pick up the car. Nice bonus if you live near it.

I’ve brought in my wife’s 2006 Subaru Forester XT (the turbo with the Porsche engine) a few times and these guys know their stuff.They have fixed numerous oil leaks for us that other mechanics “couldn’t figure out.” These guys might be the best mechanics I’ve found in Arlington that can deal with Subarus. I’m super happy I found them and will be taking my Subaru back here anytime there is an issue.Pro-tip: if you’ve got a bike bring it and bike home or to work if you are close by since they are just off the minuteman trail.

I had a minor fender bender and AAA referred me to this shop. As a woman dealing with mechanics by myself, I’m a bit intimidated and concerned that I would be taken advantage of. However, they were respectful, polite professional and prompt. And the outcome was excellent. Five stars!

Big repair needed as my original exhaust system gave in after 14 years. Which tells you something about Toyota longevity. Dealer wanted to do the entire system from manifold to rear mufflers, radiator while relatively young had a leak, and the brakes were gone. Only problem was the $4850 estimate. I brought the car to Summer (knowing co-workers who use them all the time), dropping off the keys, they got back to me and told me when they could check the car. First thing the next day, they confirmed some of the dealer’s diagnosis but saw that Manifold and mufflers did not need to be replaced. They saved me $1350! It was done on time and it came in less than the estimate! Straight shooters, pleasant to deal with, accurate. What more do you want than that from you’re mechanics? Highly recommended.

We came to Summer Street Auto Care on a Saturday with a car issue as they were closing. They helped us out and fixed our car issue. Great pricing especially for an emergency issue.

Dan was extremely polite and helpful, they were able to see my car a day earlier than planned, and for a reasonable price too!

Bill and his team at Summer Street Auto Care were very helpful in investigating an engine misfire check engine light and kept me informed of the checks they did and thoroughly answering all my questions. Although they didnt find the root cause, I appreciate that they didnt run up a bill by changing out possible suspect parts but instead recommending the dealer expertise in troubleshooting this problem.They insisted on not charging me for their diagnostic time. I appreciate their diligence and honest business practices.

The dreaded check engine light came on and so I decided to try summer street for the first time (recently moved in about a street over). Awesome service. Dropped the car off and it was good to go the next day. They kept me updated the whole time, giving me a call about the progress, price, and status of the parts ordered. They explained everything thoroughly and gave me info on my way out that was incredibly helpful about renewing my inspection sticker. Will 1000% be coming back and recommending them to friends.

They did air conditioning repair on both of our old cars. The 1998 only needed a recharge and the price was reasonable. The 2006 needed a new condenser. They could have charged a lot more. This seems to be an honest automobile repair shop that I can highly recommend.

Referred by my regular mechanic so first time customer. I had dropped a clip into one of my dash vents and it screwed up the air conditioning. I already knew how much work was required from my regular mechanic and the amount of work I was charged for, which involved ripping out the entire dash panel, was the same. And all the things in the dash panel still work. I would go back.

First visit to Summer Street Auto to fix a problem my usual repair-shop failed repeatedly to rectify. I was very happy with Summer Street Auto and will bring my vehicle back for the next service.

This is the WORST customer service I have experienced in a long, long time. I dropped my car off on a Thursday, as my usual mechanic referred me to this place. My car was making an unusual noise, and he suggested I bring it here because he couldnt figure it out. I heard nothing from them for over a day (even after they said theyd let me know soon), so I called on Friday afternoon. The man said I needed exhaust and brake work. Fine. I asked how much it would cost. He said he would put a price together and call me back. He does not call me back. I call Saturday morning and a different man says he was informed that Id be coming by to pick the car up. I asked if work was performed (without my consent) or not. He didnt know. So I went over and picked it up. Nothing had been done. Fine. I call Monday morning to see if a price had been put together. It had not. The man said for me to call back later in the day, and assured me hed have it done. I call at around 5:00. He still hadnt done it. He asks that I call first thing next morning and hed have it done. So I call first thng the next morning. Shocker, he still hasnt done it. He says hell put it together immediately and call me right back. He does not call me right back. I call at 3:00. He says he still hasnt done it, and again assures me hed call me right back. He does not call me back. I did not call back either. I have never been jerked around so much by a business in my life. DO NOT go to this place if you want work done on your car. Theyll keep it for 2 days and not do anything. I guess they dont want to make money from me. Thats fine, Ill gleefully take it elsewhere from now on.
