I am a Photography student at the nearby university and had heard about this shop. A small local establishment. I parked in a rather busy parking lot, and walked in. I was greeted warmly and asked if I needed any help, I declined but was appreciative. Walking around I found their stocks to be a bit lacking but held a diverse spread. I did need to find specific materials and walked to the front, the staff member smiled and politely walked me to the correct location and showed me a variety of items they had in stock. I found the service to be excellent and the items of great quality. I rate 5 stars on places I intend to revisit. This is a very good store for artists.

Great place for me to make quick stops to get my supplies since theyre the only location that sells supplies for architecture, i recommend freshman architecture students to buy in bulk

I enjoy shopping here. They have so much stuff, and I enjoy all of the staff members. They are knowledgeable and they all like cool things. Great conversation and the opportunity to sound board off of people makes this a better option than amazon or big chain company’s. I will be shopping here for the remainder of my UTA education.

Great place for artist to shop for professional supplies. If they dont have it in stock, they can usually order it. They also offer great workshops from time to time. Knowledgeable staff most of the time. All in all, pretty great place for an artist to feel right at home.

They had some hard to find oil paint colors at and brush wash at really great prices. The staff were so friendly, we struck up a conversation and spent about 30mins just chatting about random stuff. The store has great prices and good stock. I would much rather shop here and support small businesses any day! Check them out, they rock!

Best place in DFW for practicing artists and architects, students, and teachers to get their art -related supplies in a pinch! The staff at this location knows their (art) stuff! And if by some chance they dont have an answer for your specific issue right off the bat, they are really good at pulling their resources together to find you one.

Believe the bad reviews. They may have a lot of paint colors to choose from, but so does the internet. Don’t waste your time here. The prices are better online anyways. I’m so very disappointed in this place. I NEVER leave my house because I don’t work and my bf takes the car to work. I was excited about checking this place out but that didn’t last long. I walked up to the counter to ask a question, got two words out of my mouth before being spoken over by another employee in a nearby isle. The two employees begin a conversation and turn their backs to me and completely ignored me. I won’t be going back!

We went Friday to grab supplies for my sons class. The store manager Ben, helped us grab everything we needed, and at a reasonable price. Id highly recommend this store, as the customer service was excellent.

Small but nice. We werent looking for anything specific. Had just learned about them and went to check it out. I was told that they have another location thats larger.

Its nice to have a local place thats all art supplies (sorry, crafty people, this is not your spot). It is way smaller than a typical arts/crafts place, which makes it way faster to shop and get out of there. They had oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache supplies (including paint, brushes, paper pads, canvases, mediums, palettes, easels, etc.). They also had drawing supplies and other stuff I didnt pay as much attention to. You can pretty much count on buying stuff for less online at one of the big places, but sometimes you need something now or need to touch something before you buy it. This is the place. They seemed to have a few sales happening on various items, and Im sure they have a email list you can join if you want to be notified of deals.

Cool little art shop. The staff knows me and helps me get stuff I need for my projects that some of them have even done at the same college. Good prices as art supplies go.

Such A Beautiful Store I went Crazy with the Amount of supplies they had!! It was truly an Amazing experience. The staff was amazing and so kind and helpful, I definitely rate this 5 Stars, given, it was my first time there but thats all I really needed to see what a great store it is, I Prefer it over Micheals it has so much and Its Heaven For me.

Prices are a mix of high, just right and OMG-This-Sale! You will find art supplies here that you wont find any where else. If youre a beginner, theyll help you get started. If youre not a newbie, theyll show you the latest toys. No matter what, listen. They often have awesome tips on how-tos and experimenting with different media.

Staff was very helpful even called another location to make sure they had what i needed before i went.

Buy a lot of my art supplies there. A little far to drive however its the closest one to me. They have a lot of things that I cant find elsewhere. Also because I belong to an art Club I get a discount own on sale items.

Cute little art store with a good selection (though they were out of several items I needed), however customer service was lacking. I was standing in the checkout line behind someone, they checked out and left, and I approached the counter with my items. The guy behind the counter completely disregarded me. He spoke over me to a guy down one of the aisles, asked him if he needed help finding whatever, then went to go help him. Didnt say a thing to me at all, standing right in front of him at the counter. Completely rude, I will not be back. Perhaps the Asel in Fort Worth employs people with manners or I will shop online or at a chain store.

I am starting up again and I needed a lot of suppliesThis store had a great selection and as I started shopping there were only prices on a few things. I was asked several times if they could help me but I wanted to see what they had first. I was getting very frustrated. When I got to the paint I asked what are the prices and the person said oh well thats in the computer. I said I have a lot to buy and I need to see what the prices are. He went to the register and printed off a ticket with the four types of paint and the price. When I went back I had to figure out which level I wanted and what the price wasTwo minutes and I gave up. This store might be great if you know what you want and how much you can pay for it but for me it was horrible. Too bad because I am really excited to start painting again. A 150 or more dollar sale turned into a no sale too bad

I really love this place! The staff is super helpful, and they have a lot of cool stuff. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy art.

The staff is always nice and helpful, except the narcissistic guy with the beard. Anyway Asel has different prices at different locations for the same products. They take advantage of the UTA Design students by charging more than what they do at their other locations. Will not go there unless I absolutely have to. Better to just order off amazon or hobby lobby.

Way too expensive. They have moved to the newer location near UT Arlington. Prices were outrageously high. $450. For an easel that you can get elsewhere fot $100. Brushes at 3 times what you would pay at other places.Price gouging the college students.

Shopping here always frustrates me to the end of my nerves. Almost invariably leave without purchasing anything. Most items not priced, when so, OVERpriced. Staff is not helpful and one was downright unpleasant. Will save up my list of needs and shop at Jerrys in Austin or Texas Art in Houston. MUCH better places. (The extent of my frustration: may petition owners of both those places to set up shop in DFW.)

Poor selection of products. Staff is unenthusiastic. Constant sales and competitive prices do not make up for low quality products and service.

They sold me the wrong thing. Make sure to measure yourself anything you buy from here. They wont bouch for their mistakes and they wont give you a refund. 46 dollars down the drain. Fyi, the manager was the one that sold me the wrong items and the one who wouldnt take it back.
