After 2 motorcycle purchases and countless times getting service and upgrades done to my bikes, I think I am in the perfect position to speak on the quality and professionalism that Arlington Motorsports brings to Arlington Heights.I first visited Arlington Motorsports 2 years before I would ever ride a bike and they were incredibly helpful in my journey of finding what is right for me and how I should go about it. Julio especially was helpful and treated me and still treats me the same as when I first walked in, they show respect to every customer through all departments and truly care about the bikes and scooters that they sell.My first purchase was also my first motorcycle purchase when I bought a 1999 Honda Shadow 600 as pictured below. The entire experience was a breeze and they made it very easy for a first time motorcycle customer to not feel the stress that could very well come with such a large purchase. The entire sales team there was very knowledgeable not only about the bike but about the buying process. They also handle much more than just paperwork, they prep the bike for you and give a tour of the motorcycle so that youre an expert on the bike before you ride it off the lot. Although none of this is really above and beyond, it is what is expected of a dealer nowadays. Unfortunately many other dealers in the greater Chicago area as well as almost all private sellers are not up to the same standards.I would keep my shadow for about a year until I bought privately and got my Kawasaki Ninja 650R. The purchase was all and well until I brought it in the Arlington for my first service where the trained eye of one of their service techs Bud found many potential problems that were waiting to cause a larger issue. Bud chose to consult with me after my simple service, and told me about the issues instead of just fixing them and giving me a surprise charge like most other techs would. In general Bud has been an absolute wealth of knowledge and has helped me bring my bike up to the condition that it needed to be at for longevity. He also has done things for me and the bike just out of the goodness of his heart. When I first brought it in my shifter was bent in due to a left side drop, without hesitation he did his best to bend it back out to a better position. This of course went without any additional charge to me, but goes to show that everyone at Arlington Motorsports isnt just trying to get money out of you, theyre really trying to give you the best experience possible no matter what your business may be with them.Other than the simple work Ive had done such as oil changes, Ive also had Bud put on a full exhaust system, new levers, new tires, among other things. (work all visible in pics below) EVERY SINGLE ONE of the upgrades that I have had done to my bike with them has been quoted to be less than 2 other local shops. Going to Arlington Motorsports has easily saved me between $50-$150 on every service Ive had done there.I also just recently decided to get myself a moped (pictured below) which I had been looking at for a while at Arlington. The experience was exactly the same as what I had experienced with my first purchase there, nothing but good things to say.Mitch and the whole Arlington crew will be getting my business for as long as im still on 2 wheels.Rubber side down!
Just stay away. I sent them a note requesting a quote on a bike I liked on their website, they never responded. I send a request to test ride, and they never responded either. I stopped by the place a few weeks after to explore the scooters first hand. I walk in and for three or four minutes no one approached me. So I called upon the person sitting behind the desk, who got annoyed for dome reason. His name is Julio. He is rude, condescending, arrogant and disrespectful. He lacks basic customer service skills and asking him a question about anything becomes a burden, because he’ll belittle you and treat you as if you’re a parasite. He wasn’t busy or anything, but seemed to enjoy being a bigot. As I read through some of the reviews after my encounter, I realized that the name Julio was mentioned so many times. The owner, Mitch, ignored all reviews and finds a way to either blame the customers or the competitors. It’s seriously pathetic. A business that fails to acknowledge customers or gives face value to their grievances, concerns, and observations is not a business that one can trust; not when you purchase, and not when you seek their repair services. I am still buying a scooter, but not from this place. I am willing to drive 50 miles than dealing with them, it’s a huge red flag.
I finally made the plunge this summer and bought a Vespa. I had been itching for it for almost 12 years! Little did I know that inventory was so low and in high demand due to Covid. When I reached out to Arlington Motorsports, they had the Vespa I had been eyeing online! (Just came off the truck!!) I rushed out there even though it was an hour drive. Julio, Mitch and Bud are awesome! Not only have they been so helpful, but its so great to chat while I wait. Its a bit of a drive for me from the city, but its worth it!
Great service. Was greeted at the door upon entry and were able to answer any questions asked. Quick and easy purchasing.
I have never let a review online before but had to for Arlington Motorsports. I am very pleased with all of them. The staff is very easy to deal with and professional, you wont find pushy salesmen at this dealership. I will definitely buy again from them when I upgrade. I purchased this bike without going in to the dealership and had it shipped to me in another state. Julio and Mitch are amazing and worked with me and my schedule. Most down to earth and best customer service that I have ever received.
Called about getting a new rear tire installed on my 2004 636. Was told to drop the bike off and I would have it back in three days. Ended up getting the bike a day sooner! Bud was very helpful and even saved my kids hot wheels cars that they had thrown in the box with my new tire unknowingly to me. Price was very reasonable too. Thanks Bud!
I just bought this Honda cruiser and I couldnt be happier. Julio and Mitch helped me out and were very friendly through the process. The prices are very fair and the customer service was great! I will absolutely visit Arlington Motorsports when Im ready for a new Bike, I will also send friends and family here.
Great experience from the first contact to driving a “new to us bike” off the lot. Julio, Mitch and “the guys in the back” were a pleasure to deal with and more than helpful. Well worth a 2.5 hour drive. Honest and easy to deal with and really appreciated the no pressure or hype style. Would definitely deal with them again and recommend to anyone looking for a used bike, scooter or service.
Great selection of Genuine and Vespa scooters (among others) and just as importantly, they’re really nice, helpful people. If you’re considering a scooter, this is definitely the place to go.Was lucky to get a Vespa GTS 300 and a Genuine Buddy Kick today!
Got my scooter with these guys a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier. They had everything I needed for a new rider and all questions I had have been answered promptly. Their web site is easy to navigate and you can see what is available. Highly recommend!Ps: Theres a great dog named Charlie who will accompany you and give you love while you wait for the paperwork to be done.
AMAZING service from Mitch and Julio. Not only was there an adorable puppy there who I got to hang out with while my friend chose a bike, the guys were so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They really helped pick the right bike for him! Highly recommend coming here!!
I went in to snag the last Buddy Italia 50cc basically in the city and Julio helped me through the whole process to get my scooter. Would highly recommend as they are great guys with great service. Thank you Julio and see you on the road!
This place is amazing! Julio helped me find the perfect bike for me and even called me the next day to see how everything was. Mitch was also a pleasure to talk to. Lots of cool bikes to chose from, very clean environment, and if your thinking about getting a bike then Arlington Motorsports is the place to go!
I recently bought a 2021 Mongoose 90s. What a great little machine for my kids. Julio helped me and did a wonderful job. I would recommend Arlington Motorsports to anyone. Very easy to work with! Nothing but the best to everyone at the shop and thank you again for a great experience.
Just bought a Lance Cali 125cc and was very pleased with the service I received. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
Great service and communication from the staff and owner. Set me up with a free helmet for coming in from out of state. Love the bike. Highly recommend.
Hey everyone at Arlington motor sportsThank you so much for taking so much time withMy husband and I you guys are the best! I absolutely love my new Vespa and thank you for taking the time to teach me how to ride itI had so much fun riding it around town this weekend. Arlington motor sports is top notchI will recommend your place to everyone.FYI I wore the cool t-shirt you gave me while riding around so everyone knows where we bought our Vespa. Thank you!G Felvey
My garage needed a Vespa. Arlington Motorsports helped me get one there! Great staff, honest, worked with me on price. I could not be happier with this authorized Vespa dealer. I will buy another in the future. Thanks AM!!
Bought a 2015 Honda shadow from Julio and Mitch, decent price and in and out fairly quickly!
Always great customer service and quality work. Needed to get a tire mounted, they fixed me up right away for half the price of what a dealership was charging.
Arlington Motorsports is the best, in my opinion. I was searching for a particular bike and could not find one in my region. I started looking long distance and found exactly what I was looking for at Arlington Motorsports. I contacted Mitch about the bike. He gave me all the details and without any pressure, he helped me with the long distance purchase. Mitch and Arlington Motorsports made the process easy with honesty and professionalism. We worked out the purchase details and he even recommended a shipping sight. I arranged for the shipping and promptly received my bike. It was exactly as Mitch described and I could not be happier with the purchase and the process. Yes, I would recommend Arlington Motorsports to anyone looking for a new or used bike. Thank you Mitch, for everything.
Picked up a fun almost new Vespa from the folks here and they were easy to work with through and through. Nice group of folks, well organized shop too.
I bought my first motorcycle from Julio and Mitch from out of state and they made the whole process as easy as possible. I would have no hesitations recommending them!
Im not one to typically leave online reviews; however, in cases when a company is either off the charts fabulous or off the charts not deserving of being in business, I am inclined to chime in from time to time. In this case, I cant say enough fabulous things about the professionalism - almost - perfectionism - that Arlington Heights Motorsports brings to the world of Scooter sales. I’ve wanted a Vespa for some time now. I live in Chicago and had checked with the main dealers who sell Vespa in the city; but it wasn’t until I came across Arlington Motorsports that I - without hesitation - decided I would fulfil my lifelong dream of purchasing a brand new Vespa scooter. Here are a few highlights: 1) The salesman I worked with - Julio - couldn’t have been a nicer guy. It took all of 15 minutes to purchase the bike and get financing at the rate I was looking for; 2). The owner - Mitch - is really terrific too. He insisted on giving me a scooter lesson, explained everything to me about my new bike and delivered it straight to my door free of charge. This may seem like an obvious expectation to have of any business where you’re dropping $8K of your money, but I can tell you from experience [and learning the hard way] that you can spend a ton of money with companies and still get treated poorly. In short, these guys treated me like a queen, sold me a beautiful bike, took care of the license and registration as part of the sale and delivered it straight to my door free of charge. Last, maybe you’re not in the market for a Vespa. I can say from experience, after having shopped several bike and scooter stores in the city, that the folks at Arlington have the largest scooter selection from which to choose of beautiful brands, several of which I had never heard. Bottom line: you won’t regret driving a few extra miles from the city to get out to Arlington Heights to do business with these guys. They are 4 stars A+ above the rest. Happy riding! Amy
The team at Arlington Motorsports is the absolute best out there! Julio and Bud helped me make a decision on the perfect 50th Birthday gift for my husband. The level of information and professionalism from start to finish was superb and they made it so easy for me to pull of this great suprise. I would reccomend Arlington Motorsports to anyone looking for a scooter. Thanks Again,Nancy B.
Excellent customer service. Bought a used motorcycle and had it shipped out of state. Nothing but great assistance throughout the process. Mitch and Julio went above and beyond, making sure the bike was in great working condition and that the shipping company handled the bike properly. They really seemed to care. Cant thank them enough!
The team at Arlington Motorsports were AWESOME. Particularly, Julio took care of me from the time I stepped foot onto their business through finalizing the transaction.Having 30 years of sales and business experience myself, I thought Julio, Mitch and their workers made my first time scooter purchase VERY stress free. I am pleased to say, they were Efficient, Professional and Friendly and stock a wide range of BEAUTIFUL products to choose from. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy a sports vehicle to visit them.
I was in the market for a 150cc scooter and Arlington Motorsports seemed to be the best place to go for my needs. I came in at almost closing on a Saturday and Julio let me browse and answered my questions. I came back on Monday after I had time to decide on the best model for me and again, Julio was there to answer my follow up questions and complete my sale. He was great through the whole process.I was lucky enough to be able to take delivery that night and the owner, Mitch, dropped off my scooter and even helped me clear space in my garage for it since it was starting to rain. I mean, come on, thats above and beyond right there! I couldnt be happier with the shopping experience and I am looking forward to working with them again for regular service on my scooter.
Wow, what great service both Julio and Mitch provided! Julio was great to work with and understood my needs perfectly. It only took 4-5 days from selecting my scooter to driving it away. Mitch was communicative from the beginning and I felt part of the Arlington Motorsports family. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys!
Stopped in to look at a used BMW and spoke with Julio. Such a nice shop and nice people. Julio was friendly, helpful and I will be checking them out again.
These guy are great, nice prices, outstanding customer service. Julio is the salesperson that took care of me he made different suggestions and had great information to help me make the right decision on a bike. Great job guys keep it up 👍🏾
I wanted to say thank you to Arlington motorsports crew! Really good experience buying a bike off of them. No hassle, they don’t try to rip you off and jack the prices up. They have a great selection to choose from and are super knowledgeable. I found this gem there my 2015 DRZ 400 SM. Absolutely love it!! Even though it’s a 2015 it feels brand new, couldn’t be happier with the whole experience thank you so much!
Found an ad off craigslist of a bike, drove 5 hours & was worth every minute of it. Really good looking shop & Mitch even came in on a Sunday! Definitely recommended
They post ads on Craigslist for bikes and when you email them about the bikes, they say that they have been sold. They dont take down the post when they sell the bikes and say that everyone should go there and look at the bikes, but in reality, the bike you ask about isnt there. If they want to sell, it should be legit.... If ad is posted, the bike should be available. Dont believe false advertising. I guess they like to post ads but not remove the advertisement when they should. I guess they passed the test on lying.
I have been searching for a replacement all week since my bike was totaled during Memorial Day Weekend. I havent been to this dealership yet, but I called them today in regard to a specific motorcycle that Im interested in purchasing for a specific price. Mitch picked up the call and was VERY receptive. Albeit, no deal has been offered yet, but my brief conversation with the owner really helped skyrocket this dealership to the top of my list. Im really looking forward to visiting Arlington Motorsports tomorrow and am really hopeful that my in-person experience will be just as stellar as the phone call. Updates to follow, but for the time-being, I highly recommend giving these guys a call about their inventory.**** UPDATE****I visited this dealership on 6/8/19. Unfortunately, the bike I went there to look at just wasnt the right fit for me. Julio and Mitch were both there, and they were AWESOME. They didnt pressure me to buy anything; instead, they were patient and very informative, and they let me take my time looking at different makes and models. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. I recommend visiting this dealership! Thank you, Mitch and Julio!
Bought a scooter from the folks at Arlington Motorsports. Julio was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and made it a simple process for a first-time scooter buyer. Mitch has a deep knowledge of his inventory and was more than willing to engage with me and discuss the scooter I bought. Such a great experience; would certainly recommend this place to anyone in the market for a scooter or motorcycle!
Update: to respond to the owner. NO he wasnt polite. Not one bit how dare you lie straight out like that there was NO ONE else but Julio that day because I asked to talk to the manager and was told hes the only one there so do me a favor and stop with the Iies!I went in there looking for help with my bike. I had been looking for a part for it The guy Julio was just plain rude. Attitude from the moment I walked in. I had also asked about buying a brand new scooter with a trade in. Youd think in this day and age a person would do what they could to make the sale... Guess not. I really wouldnt do business with this place due to the treatment of customers. Plain sad.
Mitch and Julio were great! Quick and easy! I was in and out with a fabulous bike in no time. Couldn’t be happier! Also, 5 stars for the head of the service department for going above and beyond the call answering all of my questions and finding a tool kit for me when I told him I was missing it. I highly recommend all aspects of this shop from service and sales to ownership. Thanks again everyone! I will definitely service my bike here and wouldn’t hesitate to buy my next bike from Arlington Motorsports!
We had such an amazing experience. Julio was so helpful and informative. He was patient with our questions and made everything so easy! Would highly recommend them!
I was riding my motorcycle by this place this morning, saw that they had nice looking motorcycles/scooters and decided to stop by, NEVER AGAIN! My bike has aftermarket pipes that are loud so I figured I was heard when I got there, NOPE! I was looking at the bikes they had parked in front of the business for about 10 minutes and nobody came out to talk to me. I saw some guy just sitting at a desk inside, Im pretty sure he saw and heard me but he decided to ignore me. I called the number on the door, someone picked up but didnt give his name, I told him I was riding by and saw the shop and decided to stop. I asked if I could check out the bikes inside and he asked me if I had a mask, I then realized that I did not so I said no, he said well you cant come in if you dont have a mask. Im pretty sure the guy at the desk was the same guy on the phone. At that point I was like ok and left. I understand things are different because of Covid-19 but it seemed like this guy just didnt care! Nothing stopped him from approaching me while I was outside and it seemed that it was a bother for him even when he answered the phone! Ive been looking around to buy a motorcycle for my wife and I know it wont be from this place. Totally unprofessional, I dont know how they stay in business with that kind of mentality!
Good selection of motorcycle helpful people
I purchased a 2017 Harley Street Glide with low miles and in like flawless condition.,I found this shop on Cycle Trader and when I went to check out the bike Julio and the Owner Mitch were cool and had no problem putting a fair deal together. I even had the service department install some accessories.,all cool. They did have a bunch of Vespas and scooters but a bunch of nice looking used bikes as well. Renting a Trailer to go to Sturgis in August from Mitch, No issues with this Shop.
Purchased 2 Vespas. No hassle. Great service. Highly recommend Mitch and Julio.Dr Ed Chavez. Wheaton, Illinois
I rented a trailer from Mitch at Arlington Motorsports. Great experience!! This was the first time I used a trailer for motorcycles. Mitch suggested we stop by a week before our trip to test everything out, he mounted one of his motorcycles and showed us how it works. Also he wanted to test my own hitch to make sure it is working properly. I am so glad we did, he walked us through the proper way of getting the bikes on, how to tight them down properly. How to back the trailer out....He even suggested we bring our own bike the night before our trip, when we picked up the trailer, and he helped us actually mount it on and tight it down. This way at home all we had to do is mount the other bike and follow the same process. great customer service and I highly recommend them. Next time I need a trailer, I will definitely come to this place again. Thanks guys!
Just bought a used Suzuki m50 from the shop. Julio was the a great salesman and helped me through the whole process. Would recommend the shop to anyone that is looking for professional service with great deals on bikes.
Mitch, Julio and the gang are 100% pure gold. They picked up my old Vespa that needed service within 24hrs of me calling and also dropped it off. Their service pricing is very reasonable. I ended up trading in my old Vespa for a new one and they dropped it off at my house for free! The pricing on the new one was good too. Great service, great people! Strongly recommend.
Took my 2006 Vespa GT 200L in for some tricky repairs I didnt have the parts or tools to do myself, and the team here had her back up and running in two days flat- which particularly for an older Vespa that needs a lot more care for the wear and tear is pretty amazing, and on reduced hours due to the pandemic as well.At other shops, my turnaround was sometimes two weeks for simple stuff like regular maintenance and tuneups when I didnt have garage space to do it myself- these guys are professionals and will take care of you.It goes without saying too the showroom while smaller is amazing and well kept, the location is actually incredibly convenient, and the staff is fantastic.
Had a great experience purchasing my first bike from here. I live a couple hours away and they had no problem taking several calls over a couple weeks to answer any question I may have had.Would definitely do business with them again and highly recommend.
Fair prices, great service. Would recommend
Bought my G400C here from Julio. I came all the way from Kansas City, bought it and rode home. Had a great experience with the staff who assisted me in dropping off my rental car and found my bike well prepared for the long trip home.
Had a great experience! Julio was great, & super laid back. Easiest buy ever.
These guys really know their scooters. They do a great job in the service department and have a decent amount of gloves and helmets etc for a smaller shop. They sell a lot of bikes and scooters. You can even do consignment here. I got a quality helmet at a great price.
Julio was great I purchased a bike from here. Great customer service despite the pandemic. Thank you.
I’ve dealt with about 5 motorcycles shops in the last 2 months with people lying about financing their motorcycles & just pushing sales people & I almost gave up on purchasing a motorcycle until I came to Arlington Motorsports, Julio was GREAT, very patient, knowledgeable, & very nice. All around great experience buying my first motorcycle, wish I had came here first. Will definitely go back here when I’m shopping for a Harley down the road.
Mitch and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and responsive. I purchased a scooter from them. They not only made the transaction seamless; they also were extremely helpful during the transport/shipping of the scooter from IL to CA.Thanks again!
They did a good job finding the part I need for an older scooter and I got the part in less than a week. I would have given them 5 stars but the customer service was lacking. I had to wait 30 minutes just to talk to a parts guy.
So excited to have purchased my first scooter! Julio took the time to help me select the right fit and Mitchell gave me a tutorial on how to ride it! Excellent customer service, fair and honest! Highly recommend! D-
I needed an estimate on scooter body damage in a pinch. Mitch helped me quickly and diligently. Very happy!
I came here for a specific motorcycle I was interested in. Mitch was beyond helpful!! Made my buying experience easy, and also delivered the bike to me into the city of Chicago. Would highly recommend!
Good deal on scooter I bought here. Mitch and Julio was great to deal with. Very friendly folks working here.
Very helpful and dedicated staff that genuinely care about making sure the customer gets what they want. Mitch really helped me out in locating the bike I wanted and personally referred me to another dealer. I was treated like family and his communication and follow through was certainly more than I had anticipated or expected. You seldom see businesses willing to go the extra mile when reaching out through their network. A great place to start your search for your next ride!Kurt
Good place for motorcycle service and parts, clean and friendly....
Awesome experience! These guys know how its done. I showed up two different days while I was comparing bikes at different shops. I never felt pressured or pushed but I got all my questions answered. Try that a car dealer. I got the bike I wanted, the transaction was a breeze. Then I got a nice very detailed walkthrough from one of the mechanics before I took off.For me it was a one-stop shop experience. Got a motorcycle and a helmet, then Mitch threw in a free t-shirt and a nice pair of riding gloves. They helped me get an awesome deal on motorcycle insurance through Progressive which is the company other people had recommended to me for my motorcycle. They are an authorized agent. Then all set to go.They are also able to deliver motorcycles, but I did not take advantage of that.
Took a bike here for repairs a couple of years ago for trans work - they quoted me a $2000 job and recommended that I might as well just junk it and leave it in the dumpster out back. (Snarkily and condescendingly might i add). I took it home and after further research was able to repair what I told them the problem was (a clutch push rod) for like $10.
After searching the whole nation for a 2020 Vespa 150 cc Anniversary edition in Florida Sky Blue, I found it at Arlington. Mitch gave me a great deal and helped me out with shipping. They also were good about finding me a Red 946 Helmet after production had ceased in Italy because of COVID-19. Once Vespa makes an Electric scooter which will go 65 MPH, I will buy on e from them.
I was interested in buying a scooter and stopped in one day to check out the selection. I was throughly pleased with the selection of Vespa scooters and ended up loving the Vespa Primavera 150. Mitch and Julio are very easy to work with and down to earth. It was my first scooter purchase so I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but the process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend!
I worked out a deal with Mitch and Julio by phone and email for a new motorcycle. The process could not have gone more smoothly. I was treated fairly and professionally. The entire process took about 40 minutes including unloading my trade-in and loading the new bike. Everyone was super friendly. Will definitely do business with Arlington Motorsports in the future. Thanks guys.
UPDATE - CHANGED FROM 2 to 1 STAR -> TL;DR at the bottom.I brought my bike in for what may have been a major repair, but needed it diagnosed. Most of my interactions in this were with the lead mechanic, Bud. I have several mechanic friends (multiple tear downs and rebuilds, very experienced) and brought one to help when it came time to pay, because I could tell there was something off when talking to Bud on the phone.First off, he was just unprofessional and regularly cursed when talking and just did not give off the vibe of dealing with an expert of any kind. Im not sensitive to foul language, but the fact is, a business shouldnt talk to customers that way.I began taking detailed notes and logging the phone call updates just in case, as like I said, I did not like the feel of the situation. It gave me very strong vibes of those horror stories of sketchy mechanics you hear about who overbill and take advantage of a customers lack of knowledge.Anyway, I call for an update a few days after the tow about the bike status, he says there are 10 bikes ahead of me and hell try to get to it that day. About 60-90 minutes later he calls me back and says the engine is most likely seized, and recommended just junking the bike. I asked him what he did and how he was so sure (how could he have gotten inside to fully assess so quickly? Especially with what we just talked about on the phone about 10 bikes being ahead of me?).He told me he took the engine case off and found a crack on the case, which was the source of my oil leak. He did not do much more than spin the wheel to reach a stuck point, and ended his assessment there. If further work was needed such as replacing the motor, he was not up to the job. Like I said, I tracked timestamps and made notes of every conversation, so I know he did not spend more than an hour on that bike. Period. When it came time to pay the bill, he wanted to charge me $200 in labor. Keep in mind, he looked at the bike but did not actually make any repair attempts. This was purely for inspection. I may not be a mechanic, but I deal with attorneys, lawyers, and contractors all the time. I know what a padded bill looks like. I also confirmed with my mechanic friends that there was no way he spent near that time on the job.Either way, I disputed the bill. Bud was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He also lost his temper swearing at me (do you know how long it takes to f*cking open a bike this much?) showing me a picture on his phone of... not much really.Luckily, Mitch took over and while it did get heated when he was talking to my mechanic friend, we were able to amicably resolve the billing dispute. At no point did I raise my voice, yell, or curse at any member of the staff.Disagreements over bills happen. Its part of life, and I can accept that. What I will not accept is the incredibly unprofessional and rude mechanic who literally swore at me. If I had just dealt with Mitch, I think things would have gone much better because he at least has some sense of customer service. I was probably going to buy another smaller bike in the near future, but will not consider here because of the disrespect they allow from their employees.TL;DR Padded bill, rude, and unprofessional mechanic who swore at me.UPDATE: With a friend of mine, we were able to get the bike running in an afternoon. Oil had filled the airbox, the engine was NOT seized, but the battery was dead. After replacing the battery and cleaning the airbox, THE MOTORCYCLE RUNS FINE. This companys mechanic has no idea what he is doing. Opening the bike didnt take anywhere close to the time quoted by him (2 hours LOL). Or maybe he was hoping to buy a $7K+ bike for nothing by lying to a customer about it needing to be thrown in the garbage.Avoid at all costs.
I just purchased a new r6 from Julio and he really made the whole sales process great. He was very upfront about the bike and all the costs and was extremely low pressure. I was even able to get a 90 dollar credit towards a helmet of my choice! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a used bike. Ive had some poor experiences with used vehicle dealers before this, but Julio was honest and upfront from the get-go.
I tried to buy a bike, but Julio would not send me a quote and then never called back. I have know idea how a business can survive with such unprofessional practices.
Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Wonderful experience!
Bought a scooter here & it was a nightmare ! They wasted half my day then couldn’t even get the scooter running so they forced me to take another one when I wanted the Blue one but got the red one because I was told it was in better condition! What a joke it had a bunch of scratches in the paint a crack in the fender cause it was a year older model that they Charge me the same price for ! Then the scooter broke down a week later & had to be serviced by them ! I had to pay to tow it there too they wouldnt help ! I complained & asked for money back since I was sold a year older bike the owner gave me A measly $200 back to For the inconvenience that That just covered the toll there ! So if you want to leave with a older bike and pay the same price as a newer one & get a runaround headache from the owner you’ll love this place...
Great experience! Spoke to Julio over the phone a week prior to moving to the area in inquire about a bike i seen online but he just sold it. Told he just got a same model I inquired about and sent me pics same day! I explained it was my first bike and I wasn’t familiar with the area yet so Mitch delivered it within a few hours! Thanks guys!
Good selection of bikes and gear even for being a small dealer. Julio was great, made the purchasing process as smooth as can be. I would definitely will come back in the future!
Rude cocky employees. Bought a bike elsewhere due to Julie attitude problem
Julio and Mitch were very helpful people. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. I was so ready to get back on 2 wheels without breaking the bank and found the perfect fit. I love how personable the staff is and so happy to know I can get all my needs met with their service department and winter storage. Hoping my friend can get the bike of her dreams from Julio in the very near future! Thanks, guys!!
This place is excellent. They were very friendly an about their business... I bought a motorcycle from them and was out of there in a 30 min. tops.... The guy Easy had a great sense of humor and made me feel at home instantly.... I would buy from again in a heart beat and recommend that you do to... S/O to Arlington Motorsports for delivering a great service... Im very pleased with my choice and I look foward to doing business with you all in the near future....
Fast and Easy transaction! Took care of my every need and answered every question. Also had a very Nice inventory with a great selection of all sorts of well maintained bikes. Will recommend.
This shop was very kind to me as a first-time buyer. I wanted a scooter, and they had the best selection in the area. Bought a Genuine Buddy scooter and have been loving it ever since! Even ride it in the winter! Mitch, the owner, is a laid-back friendly guy, very nice to do business with. I will definitely keep doing business at this place!
My experience was great went their in the morning to look at a bike l was interested in next thing I knew the deal happened they bought my bike and I got the bike I went there for it was awesome thanks guys it was a great morning
Purchased a bike from this place last weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful, and honest. I had a great experience and love my bike! Thank you guys so much for your help!
Just came on first visit and test ride. Julio and Mitch couldn’t have been nicer. They made me feel comfortable and a valued potential customer. Really nice people. I’ll be back
This place is a rip-off! I was buying a Lance Cabo 50 price tag of $1899 when asked for total price with taxes, registration and plates it jumped to $3500 luckily my wife told me to think about it. I ended buying the same one at Second City Scooters for a total of under $2700.
Ive had my Buddy scooter serviced here and that was a great experience. More recently I came in looking for a small part for my scooter. The staff happily helped me and left me a very happy customer!
Great service all around. I looked at several dealerships in the Chicagoland area when purchasing a scooter (Buddy 50). Mitch worked with me on price and licensing in order to get a better package then any other dealership. He was honest and transparent with regard to the markup, which is beyond rare these days. Highly recommended!!!
I went there to browse around for a motorcycle and ended up buying one. They have a great selection of bikes and a very helpful staff. I was looking for a good bike that I could grow into and Mitch helped me pick out my bike. I got a 2003 Honda Shadow 750. It runs great! They put new tires on it and definitely made sure it was ready to go. Ive had no issues with it so far and cant wait for the weather to warm up to ride it more.
This is the right place to buy Vespa. Honest and knowledgeable people. I recommend that you stop searching and go directly to them with a full confidence that you will leave very happy. N. G.
I purchased a used motorcycle from Julio. Couldnt have been easier. He showed me exactly what I wanted to see. Picked out my bike within a half an hour. Great place! Very professional.
These guys are awesome! I drove in from 2.5hrs away and got stuck in the infamous Chicago traffic. They stayed almost an hour after closing, helped me load the bike in the trailer and I got a great deal on a great bike!
I purchased a 2012 Yamaha v star 1300 from this dealer, my brother bought a bike from them last year, it was a pleasure to business with the staff.Very reasonable price, great customer service .They ever put a brand new battery for me for free so I would have no issues later on .If you are looking for a bike and not sure what to choose, they will let you test ride the bikes and with no pressure or hassle will let you decide what would be the best fit for your needs.I would come back again for sure.
Mitch is great! I’ve been coming here for years and he’s always treated me right. Great bikes, fairly priced. Expert service department and no surprises. These guys are the real deal. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommended!
Great service! I got a 2020 Sym Mio and love it! Would recommend to anyone new to riding scooters as well
Superior motorcycle repair service from real people that care about their customers. After breaking down on the highway to Milwaukee from Chicago, I called Arlington Motorsports and they sent out their truck to take my bike to their shop. The staff found and ordered the regulator and stator I needed for my Suzuki V-Strom. Their prices are reasonable and they really go out of their way to find quality parts at a good price. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment, and any motorcyclist should feel comfortable to have their bike serviced by them.
