My mom and I arrived around 2pm on a Sunday. They had a decent amount of donuts left. We got 2 vanilla long johns, a strawberry shortcake, and a few cream puffs. The vanilla long john was TO DIE FOR! I get those at every donut shop and theirs were amazing! The other donuts were good too. The chocolate cream puffs could have used more cream.

Now THAT is a wonderful place for a German chocolate donut.

First time going there. The lemon drop is my new favorite comfort sweet. I have never tasted anything like it. It was wonderful! And the young man working was awesome and patient with us! A million thumbs up

The decor is what youd expect from a donut shop, but the donuts are the best Ive had. The flavors are more than just toppings. Theres a variety of textures, donut stones, glazes, and crusts.

A sales guy at my last job used to bring these in and the red velvet was amazing. I ended up moving and leaving the job I was at and couldnt think of the name of this place. One day whole going to Sam Ash I saw it and remembered that was the place and had to stop in for my red velvet. SO good. Now, every time Im in the area Ill stop for one and sometimes a scoop of ice cream. On top of it, the staff is friendly.

Absolutely love this place! It really is one of my hometown favorites and I always make the time to go when Im in town! The store is open 24 hours and the donuts are always fresh. This place has spoiled me and I now have a hard time eating donuts from other places. I love how they always have a featured donut of the month and my personal favorite is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Donut in August.Highly recommend, you wont regret your decision of stopping in!

Love the donuts here as they always taste fresh and have a wide variety to choose from. Employees are friendly and I never feel rushed when picking the donuts. Prices are reasonable and like the convenience of the drive through when in a hurry. Coffee drinks are also very good. Store hours stay open late. Definitely recommend!

Out of business. Paper over all the windows and doors. Small signs saying closed due to lack of employees. How silly is that??? My guess is they werent doing good financially. Sorry to see a good donut shop go broke.

By far an away the best donuts Ive had in the Chicagoland area - even beating out Stans and Glazed and Infused.These donuts are classic style and consistently very very good. Theres not much else to say except that you wont be disappointed. The coffee is good too, but Ive only tried it once or twice.

The donuts here are big and delicious, made fresh through the day. Even their day-old specials taste fresh from the kitchen. Spunky Dunkers is a must for me when I want a dozen (or more) for parties, long car trips, or a breakfast treat for the office. Theyre also a must on Packzi day! But place an order or get there early, as their Fat Tuesday treats go fast!

I got the aple spiced donut and my gf got the maple glaze. The donuts werent greasy and the glaze was to to sugary. The apple spiced donut was amazing. The fill tasted just like an apple pie.

In town with the family for the first time and this place was close so thought we would check it out. Really really good donuts that seem homemade, would definitely recommend!

Not as good as the Original Spunky Dunkers in Palatine, BUT this one has ice cream! It also has a wider selection of soft drinks. More room to sit than their Palatine cousin too. There is a Dunkin Donuts nearby, dont go there. Go here instead.

Spunkys donuts are great but every time I visit the location on Arlington Heights or on Northwest Highway in Palatine they are out of donuts I like. I have called the store and ask if they had a particular donut, when I arrive they were sold out! Another occasion, I visited the location on Northwest Highway and one of the workers were very rude to the young lady at the front taking orders. I will not be going back to Spunky Dunkers. Good-bye Spunky, hello County Donuts!

Staff is fantastic. They always have a great variety in fresh donuts. I just wish they kept a higher amount of the limited flavor of the month available.

One dozen Spunky Dunkers were delivered to our office today by a prospective client. Wise choice, better than Dunkin and so moist and delicious. Im speaking for my co-workers, I did not try every donut LOL. I would go out of my way for these, a must try for North Suburbanites.

The definition of overrated. Tried a few donuts around 11 am nothing fresh and dry. Employee didnt offer to make any fresh and was more interested in me just hurrying up. Not worth a visit.

Amazing donuts. I always get the black raspberry and chocolate Bavarian. I have since moved to Indiana but when ever a make a trip back home, Spunkys is always the first visit in the morning.

Fast service, AMAZING Doughnuts, and the Cinnamon Rolls are melt in your mouth delicious! I go out of my way on the way to work to get my morning indulgence.

I came here on a recommendation but the apple fritter I ordered was frankly terrible. Im all for old diners but this isnt the 1950s and their is no need to have fritters that taste like they were came in a box. Not fresh.

Local business, nestled between two other corporate coffee shops - with superior coffee and donuts. Why people sit in line in the morning while the drive-through to this place is wide open, Ill never understand.

The availability of the donuts is not consistent. The coffee used to taste good. Now it has an odd smell/taste.
