This is where I always go for party balloons! They have a great selection, fair prices, and quick pick up service!

Relatively clean and stocked for it being the week before Halloween.

I came into the store to browse for odd things for my gender reveal coming up. I was excited to finally have the time to browse and get info on balloon orders. Upon entering, I was not greeted by the two associates at the registers. I browsed the display near the front doors, then walked the balloon counter where two associates were, still no acknowledgement from the associates despite me looking at the balloon wall and clearly looking for something. I walked some of the aisles and back to to the balloon counter. After I purchased my items, which I regret after having this experience and still not hello, how are you, nothing, I returned to the balloon counter a third time. At this point, There were at least three-four associates (possible one manager) seeing that I was looking for something, still was not asked if I had any questions or needed help with anything. I was very disappointed and will not be returning to this location. This location is closest to my home, but Id rather make a drive for good service than settle for convenience of location. I consider myself a loyal customer to places that treat their customers well and make them feel welcomed. Very unfortunate.

The ladies all here have so much patience when working with customers. They had the patience right work with me as I got 6 bunches of balloons inflated for an event. They let me make multiple trips and were so helpful with everything.

The items we needed were in stock and the shelves seemed well stocked. The prices are great and staff were nice.

Went to get balloons for a birthdays party, was at the balloon station to ask a question. & a big bald manager was just chillin on his phone for 10 minutes! I said excuse me & he said rudely that I need to go to the line if I had a question! Came in here twice within the same day and he was still in the same spot! While his staff of young ladies were running around due to the busy day. Please fire the bald dude. He was also very rude to his own staff in front of customers!

Got balloons for the party, asked the lady if they will last, and she said yeah they should unless they will be outside. Well great, after bringing the balloons home right after picking them up, they lasted 4 hours and deflated. Now I have no balloons and money down the drain.

Definitely an awesome place for parties, events, and other special occasions. Would visit again and it is at a reasonable price too. Thanks for all that you do.

Extensive selection of inflatable balloons

Baloon packages are put together by workers. Spend time looking for a specific box, but was told to just grab components and bring to cashier..

Was out of 7 balloons that I tried to order.

Great service - very helpful

Good stock, although incomplete. Some inflatable letters were missing. It was not clear where certain items could be found. The staff was kind and helpful.

All in all they got the job done. But it took seemingly forever waiting in there. I waited nearly 20 mins to get 2 ballons which took about 2 mins to fill.

Their prices are way overpriced I could buy a huge bag of the five pound tootsie rolls for 699 at Jewel and they were selling them for $13. The cashiers were quite rude I guess I took too too much time away from them on their cell phone

The staff at this store can run hot and cold in terms of how hard they work to try to help the customers. Lucky for me I got a great worker last week who took the time to help me pick out a costume. So for that, 5 stars.

Awesome place for event your party own

Very helpful, dealt with my not so awesome mood with my crazy children😁Anyone with kids know these moments. But we got everything we needed all in one trip!

Several bins contain deeply discounted items and definitely worth the time to sift through each. A lot of choices and variety for party needs. A couple aisles were bare so not sure if theyre changing out items but most of the store is organized. Would like to see more updated character themed party supplies.

All the Halloween costumes were done. But they could not list what is available. We had to check too many outfits which ran out of stock.

Its so easy to find certain stuff. Like if its for a birthday cake and its about frozen. There are sections that show were the frozen aisle is at.

I love Party City but avoid the Arlington Heights location at all costs. I had originally tried to call and find out about placing an order for balloons. The girl was not helpful at all and blew me off by telling me to go online. When I went in tonight to pick up the order I placed on line, the three employees were too busy goofing off and laughing at each other to be helpful at all.

The only star I give is that the store has variety of what I need, but regarding customer service it is horrible! They don’t make customer feel satisfied with ballon arrangements nor take the time to ask how we would like the balloons arranged.

Nice place !, but lots of the staff is very disrespectful I went for an order in the morning this girl Sam was extremely rude and was very playful with another girl with glasses and black hair in a ponytail in some boy joggers they where very close like if the where dating the girl with the ponytail would just laugh and get close I don’t think they should be working together if there going to act like that. The girl name Sam shouldn’t be allowed to work there at there was no reason of being rude I never said anything to disrespect her when I was just waiting like I said is girl shouldn’t be allowed to work at the sotre specially when she’s going to be all over her co-worker remember to not get any service from this girl her name is Sam!

My balloon order was ready when I came to pick it up, everything was fine except I picked up the order in the afternoon for a party I was having in the morning. Party city failed to inform me that confetti filled balloons only last 8 hours. By the time of the party all balloons were deflated and completely unusable. We returned the next day, our number balloons were inflated once more but they did nothing about the confetti ones. My money went down the drain and I’m stuck with unusable balloons.

This store does carry a nice variety of merchandise, and its things that you typically wont find just walking into any store. However, they are quite pricey! I tend to avoid Party City because of their prices unless its a last minute item I need immediately. Otherwise, I just do an Internet search and buy the items much, much cheaper that way.

They always have great party favors

They wont help you if you are unable to find an item. Very lazy and irresponsible staff.Went to another location, they dont have the item we are looking for. But the difference is rand road location guys are harsh and irresponsible.Other location people clearly told that their online website is not working and they did apologize as well. Thats the difference between other location staff and Rand road location staff.

I think they have great variety. However the Store in Arlington Heights... I dont go to anymore unless I Absolutely have to! The Male night manager has Awful customer service Skills!!! For a school going to get items Im there often. Asking where usual items... If theyre not there must have been discontinued. Not checking for me or staying to see if there was something else they could help with.... Not Happy

I will never shop at this party city again. I ordered balloons for a surprise party this past weekend. I brought the receipt in to pick up the balloons that were supposed to be ready at 2pm on Friday. I get there and the man keeps asking me are these your balloons, and kept going down the line of orders even though I told him what my balloons were. I mean if I tell you they are casino red white and black balloons then Im guessing the baby showers balloons arnt them!!! So he said we lost your order and we can do it now. I said okay, he said well I dont remember what balloons you had so I need you to pick out all the balloons again... Which was a pain because it was over 35 balloons! So at this point its 230pm. I pick out the balloons I had purchased and stood there waiting for them to blow them up. He called for people to help them on the radio and no one ever came and then proceeds to talk badly about the coworkers and say its funny how they never come when work needs to be done. So I bring out the first two batches and put them in my car and I come back in to get the other two batches and he said maam he lady that rang you up rang you up wrong and you owe 9.99 still.... I just looked at him and said how is that my fault if she did something wrong on your end, he said well shes new so she was probably confused but we need you to pay the $9.99... So I go to my car to get my purse that I left in there thinking I didnt need it. So at this point it is now 3:10pm and he and 10minutes after I should have gotten the balloons. I pay the extra $9.99 for whatever reason and I leave. During this entire time not one Im sorry, NOT ONCE! I love how they make a mistake and yet I am still paying more!

They have the best party & holiday decorations. We are having a Halloween party and found everything we need to.decorate our home, including appetizer plates, napkins, tablecloths, etc. Its fun as well as productive to shop at Party City.

Best place to get all your party stuff under one roof.

I ordered balloons for my daughters birthday a few weeks in advance along with decorative table weights. After arriving the day of the event I showed up with a receipt in hand to get my balloons and weights, they gave me the proper number of balloons but not enough weights. I asked where the remaining weights were and they said the person who sold them to me was misinformed and they were out, 4 of the sets already had weights I requested on them so I found it difficult to believe. I showed them the receipt and he said he could either refund me or give me other ones. So I took 5 weights that didnt match with what I bought but would do the job. The only thing that frustrated me was the lack of a single apology during the entire situation.

Im here to point out something before you read it please do not find it offensive its just something I needed to point out . The customer service were rude, My Guardian went there to return something and added 4 cents because it was $10.96 so therefore the cashier suppose to give her $11 but they told her they didnt care and wouldnt give her the money back to also point out we shopped there for years and never had a problem with that it but this person . He was very rude and didnt cared about anything it also makes me concerned that hes been treating the people too with the same additude . Please get nicer people so we wont get to have this problem thanks !

We waited over half an hour for them to blow up 2 balloons even though half the staff was standing around doing nothing.

Employee followed us around the entire store the second we walked in. It wasnt like hey how can I help you. Just silently followed us in circles around store acting like he was on his phone. We werent loitering, we did make two purchases. And we made our purchases a minute before the store closed and were out before 8. The stalking was admittedly creepy and unnecessary. This is literally my first review on Google because of how unpleasant the whole experience was.

Wide options for picking Halloween costumes. They also have various sizes so that its for me to get the exact size for my boy.

I bought a costume for halloween. My complaint is not that the store was crowded nor that some costumes were sold out, but the fact that the costume I bought did not have everything it needed to inside of it. I bought the zoot-suit model and it is missing the necktie, and the suspender straps which made the suit the cool trend it was. Heavily disappointed

I went in there to order some balloons and the girl who took my order her name was sam was very rude i had a couple question so i started to ask her she would just answer me like if i was crazy like she didnt want to talk so i kept asking other question but still she kept being so rude people shouldnt be working if there going to have a bad audited at work what ever was wrong with that little girl wasnt my problem or anyones if people are going to work like that then you shouldnt be working at all i hope next time i go in that girl isnt working there people like her shouldnt be work just go home instead it was just bad service from that girl so people if you go just make sure to not get anything from that girl her name was sam she didnt even do my order right and i wasnt that hard

I had to walk out, a couple of the younger employees smelled so bad it was offensive.....the store in general is fine but damn, put some deodorant on those kids.
