Target has most of the items I want at a good price. I especially like that Target has towels made in Pakistan, because they are very good quality. Target has a nice choice of things, from electronics and clothing to food and eyeglasses! Very nice.

Target has the highest selection of items and combine that with the ease drive up, and the lowest prices, no other store can match that

Communication at this location ( Arlington Heights) is horrible and the staff at the online order department are rude and condescending. Recently went in to pick up a Xbox series s console and was told the only way to get one is to order it online even though they had it in stock in the back and I was already in the store ready to buy it. The electronics department employee went into the back to check and make sure they had some in the back and he confirmed they did. After placing the order on line from the store, I proceed to the online pickup cash register to ask if I was able to get my order filled since I was already in the store ready to pickup and it was already paid for. They started telling me that it is a 2 hour wait while they prepare and fill the order and that there are people ahead of me that ordered items online. There was no indication on the app that this was an online order only and I tried to explain that to the manager but they were not interested at all. The first manager told me that there were 45 orders ahead of me. I waited 30 minutes and came back to check on the status and the next shifts manager told me that there is no way they can tell how many people are in front of me ( either the first manager lied to me or this manager was lying to me) I was told in a rude and disrespectful way to either wait 2 hours or come back. I asked if they could at least tell me if I am guaranteed to receive the Xbox series s and was told condescendingly yes. I left to go home and wait for the email, within 15 minutes I received an email that my order was cancelled. I found another location in Palatine that filled my order within 1 hour and I had the console in hand. Very disappointing customer service and I do not recommend the Arlington Heights location.

I went to purchase a crib after confirming on the website that 4 were in stock in store. When I got to the baby furniture section, there were high school kids sitting on the toddler beds and rocking chairs, without masks on, and they wouldnt move out of the way so I could find the crib box. When they finally left, I was able to see that none of the crib boxes were on the floor anyway. Not finding the product on the floor after having to navigate a group of maskless high schoolers lounging in the baby section was enough to send me straight home to purchase a crib from Amazon. This Target is a continued hassle to shop at when school is in session.

The people here are snobby but there’s just better options and I guess that’s just from the area. Higher quality items for sure

This experience is based solely on a single target employee and by no means represents my experience with target as a whole. I came to this target at 9:30am looking for trading cards and was told a flat no they didnt have any at customer service desk. I pointed out someone else buying some(from another service desk employee) and she didnt have an answer and said everything we have is out on the shelves. On a whim I stopped back at 12:30pm and see 5 different people purchasing the stock they didnt have. Inevitably the person before me bought the last of the stock I was seeking to purchase. The distributor did not stop back in the time frame, there was new stock on the shelves. The second person to help me was super nice and apologized. The first employee couldnt be bothered to do their job and was even rude about it. So now I have to buy something from scalpers who charge a huge mark up. Very poor customer experience. Should be a 1 star rating but the second employee was super nice and tried to be helpful and was apologetic about my experience..

Ease of shopping and pick up

Worst customer service. I had an order for delivery to the car. The Target employee came out and demanded, while standing within inches of my car, that I roll down my window. She needed to tell me that I didnt notify press the leaving home now button soon enough. I wasnt complaining about waiting. Not sure what her problem was but definitely not following Covid distancing.

My phone dropped out of my pocket at this Target location. I had my Apple Watch on, so decided to locate my iPhone from my Apple Watch by pinging it. You can also make your iPhone flash its LED lights. Long story short, I pinged my phone and realized it was located at the customer service desk. I politely walked to the counter and stated that iPhone on the counter was my phone. The employee in customer service saw me pinging my phone/flashing it’s LED lights and STILL INSISTED that I needed to physically unlock my iPhone in front of her. I don’t get upset easily, but she was being totally unreasonable. She was completely convinced it was not my phone. So much for objectivity...🙄

Its fine unless its super busy. Avoid peak hours.

My last trip to this store was so nice. In many places nowadays, I feel a risk of COVID contraction due to lack of social distancing, or people wearing their masks incorrectly. I have to say - every single person was taking proper COVID precautions at this location, and I felt very safe shopping there. Will definitely return. Keep it up!

Very nice up to date Target

Target is a store that has everything you need. It’s convenient because of drive up and order pick up, especially in a pandemic. The hours of operation are also convenient as my store opens early to beat the rush of people.

Terrible customer service at this location! Very unprofessional employees here! I asked for help at the guest checkout and a employee named Catrina was beyond rude! She refused to let me use my circle app number in the system. I left all of my items behind after receiving a unnecessary 10 min speech from her about how I needed to have the app on my phone to get the discount! She was mad because I interrupted her from her conversations she was having a chat session with a couple of other employees that were just ready to go home. I dont recommend going to this store at all besides that shelves were very empty out of stock on alot of items. Teach your employees how to treat customers! Or get rid of them! Unreal!!!

Expect to pay more, for pretty much everything. There prices arent the best. They also have issues stocking their shelves. Countless times- even before covid they struggled to keep basic things stocked. There cooler with drinks is a hot mess, ALWAYS. Aside from that i love target. Its clean, most of the staff are well trained.

FYI: They do not honor their price match guarantee at this location.What is with the customer service reps at Target?? Awful. I found the exact same item online through Walmart, which is a store that Target will price match. I was told that they cannot look at my phone, instead they need to scan the item. No problem. After wasting over 30 minutes total for a simple price match, the customer service rep does a quick scan and then says that nothing is showing up on her end at a better price. Such BS. Best price is as-is.So I proceed to show her my phone to prove to her that she’s wrong because multiple stores have a lower price, and she says she can’t go by that. Umm what? I call corporate to question the false advertising. Corporate said that I am correct and that the rep at the store was wrong! They also said that the rep should have looked up Walmart’s website on her phone to verify the info. Just lazy, and clueless employees here.

Good store with a large selection

I really like the Arlington Heights store. There is so much more to choose from then the one in Palatine. Although Palatine is nice, the Arlington Heights has a bigger selection and had more product in stock. The only downfall of AH, is the parking lot. Total waste of a setup.

UPDATE Now they had one electric cart and after about 10 minutes it jerked me so hard i almost fell off then started driving and then jerked me again. Dangerous. I really need to start working with some organization for the disabled, because these grocery stores do not care to provide a safe environment for the elderly and disabled to shop in.0 stars. 3 handicapped electric carts, 1 broken 1 never charged. I had to drive to another target to get one thing. Unfortunately they always put the stuff across the entire store so i have to have the mobilized cart. The elderly and disabled are also your customers and their money is just as good as anyone elses. Shame on you.

This Target has the worst layout of any Target I have ever been to. The entrance/exit is on the side nearest the road, which causes backups. Upon entering, there is a Starbucks to the left and the dollar spot to the right. The grocery items are on the complete opposite side from the entrance, which seems contrariwise. Other than that, the employees are not very friendly or helpful, in fact, some were just outright rude to customers. It was surprising how this location was so incredibly busy, too. That resulted in the lines being backed up and there were no more workers coming to help. I would suggest saving yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

The diversity and quality of merchandise, the feel of the store (clean, bright, NOT Walmart-y), prices, sales, surprising/creative decor and household objects, well-stocked shelves, etc. In summary, Its an upbeat shopping experience.

I usually have no problems at Target. However, this past time I was a self checkout and the machine stoped working and the young man that was supposed to help did not come over. So I moved to a different machine. Then promptly got yelled at by the employee, he was extremely rude to myself and a mother that was there at the same time. He should not be handling customers. I will not be returning to this location any time soon.

We arrived at this location 10 minutes before closing... looking for a specific item. An employee named James went above and beyond to help us. He was fantastic and if you need assistance I recommend you find him!! Store was clean, parking was easy. We will now make this our go to Target location.

Honestly, this is the WORST Target I’ve ever been to. Given certain circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic, I’m not expecting excellent customer service, but the team members here are just so vicious and impolite. I ask one directory question and I’m faced with a dirty face, attitude, and “I don’t know”. Like what? You have one job and that is to serve your customers. If you are restocking the produce section, and you can’t answer a question of where a product is or know how to use a Mydevice, get out and go home. It’s pitiful how this store is run.

They never have enough cashiers you have to stand in a long line to get out of the store because everyone is considered stealing show your recipe not at king of pressure.If u need help finding something good luck u have to find a employee willing to work first.

6.16.18... since the new remodel this store is awful.Ex: I need an over the door towel hook. Just one. I finally found 1 option in the 3rd dept I looked in. It was a 4 hook design. $27. (Walmart had a 1 hook option, $3)Ex: We needed a baby shower gift for twins, gender neutral. There was, again, 1 option. There was a total of 4 choices in total if you count the ones for boy, girl, neutral.The only difference I noticed was a more open layout with louder music. The open floor plan must have been a result of reducing stock across the board. The remaining items are slightly picked as well. Very disappointing.

Guest Services FAIL!It seems like every time I stop at this target, there is something that makes me regret stopping here. Im fed up with this location and cant begin to understand how something happens every time without fail.Tonight I was checking out and requested $20.00 cash back. I wanted small bills but the cashier did not have enough in her drawer to accommodate my request. The cashier even mentioned that they had already called for more change to their drawer, but had not received it yet. I didnt want to hold the line, so I took the $20.00 bill I was offered and headed towards guilt...I mean guest services.After waiting a couple of minutes for the person to acknowledge my presence, I explained what just happened and very politely asked if they could change my $20.00 bill. My request was met with a disdainful look and I was told We should not do this. I expressed my need for the smaller bills again and asked why I couldnt get my change. The clerk said wait. very impatiently and called over their radio to confirm if they could in fact change my $20.00 bill. The clerk was given the green light without hesitation by the person on the other end of the radio to make change. I was then asked quite rudely how I wanted my change. I received my smaller bills and thanked the clerk who again made no effort to show me any courtesy. I was made to feel like I had inconvenienced someone for asking them to do something that is a part of their job. I was met with hostility form the start of this customer service interaction and it was the last straw. If I could rate this location no stars, I would do so without hesitation. I will re post this to Yelp and Yahoo reviews in hopes to keep anyone else from having a negative experience.

I actually both a bra online and paid full price which is $22.99 plus tax and when I received the merchandise the tag is marked clearance for $10.98. I went in to the store so I can get a credit but they won’t return the item. I hate this store.

Came in to get a prepaid phone for my Mother and the guy who works mobile was so helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to help me get the right phone and made sure it was activated before I left. If you need a phone go to him his name is Ashley and he is really attractive and smells amazing lol 🤗

I would not recommend ordering items online.I ordered a small cabinet on 9/3 and on 9/8 a totally wrong item (huge bookshelf) was delivered.I immediately called customer service and they said to just keep the wrong item for the inconvenience and they will send a replacement right away. I thought that was a nice gesture even though I did not need the bookshelf.After a week of waiting nothing going so I called Customer Service again and this time I was told that I needed to return the wrong item for the replacement to be sent. I told them that it was not what I was told before but they refused to listen and asked me to return to a store or bring to a UPS store. I told them that this item was heavy and so big that it would not even fit into my car. They said they could not do anything about it asked me to call another number. I has to call again and after an hour on the two different phone calls, finally agreed that they will arrange a pick-up for the wrong item. They said that once the item is scanned by the pick up company they will release my original item that I ordered. However, during all this delay which Target was at fault 100%, the item I wanted had gone out of stock and discontinued. They said they usually hold the product in these situation (which I dont believe) but it seems that it was forgotten for my order. I am totally furious about this experience.I use to shop at Target a lot but now I plan on staying away as I am totally disappointed after this nightmare experience.

I sometimes need a few items and enjoy looking around (shopping) to relax. If I spot something I can use and need, Target has great prices.

The new design on the stores make zero sense. Ive been shopping at this Target for a while since the renovation and its just hideous. I literally forget what I came there to buy because the layout makes no sense. However, the MOST annoying thing about this store is the constant restocking of shelves during the lunch out. The aisles are blocked. Employees are rolling around huge pallets of items. Every trip to target makes me miserable and I question why I would do this again. My other option would be to buy it online to avoid all this nonsense in the stores. However, if I was going to shop online, I would do it through Amazon.

I am pleased to see the expansion of products in all categories at Target. Since the changes in the store have been rolling out, I am happy to see the addition of brands and item types to the Target lineup that I am interested in trying or already purchasing elsewhere. The addition of Starbucks is a big plus for me! The revamp of the store aesthetic and layout, a large amount of checkout lanes, self-checkout lanes, and the more upscale feel of the store are all positive improvements. One area that underwent tremendous change is the cosmetics and personal care sections. The layout is inviting, easy to navigate, and the addition of some high-quality brands is welcome, and guys they did not forget you either (there is a section with a similar inviting layout and fitting selection of products for men). Relative to the cosmetics area, I would encourage the addition of cosmetic testers for some of your product offerings since this area is one of major frustration when one cannot be sure of color match or formula feel and performance until after the purchase is complete. When it comes to this type of purchase, personally, one of the more frustrating things is getting something home and finding out the product does not meet expectations and having to go back to the store and return it. Targets generous return policy on cosmetics is appreciated, but if testers were available in store it could cut down on unnecessary returns because of product dissatisfaction with formula or color match. The other thing I did notice is the pricing on clothing, home goods, and other categories is not in alignment with other competitors in the area. Overall, the changes are positive, product selection is going in the right direction, and service is on point. Keep up the great work. I would like to completely move away from Walmart to Target but, the pricing at Target overall is still too high. Across all categories at Target I can find better pricing in the area for most items Target sells and until there are price reductions, I cannot justify a move from Walmart to Target for day to day needs. I am looking to make a switch from Walmart immediately and my hope was to have Target be my new go to, but the pricing is not justifiable. In speaking with friends about overall value, the consensus in my peer group is the same as mine. Love the product selection but there are too many alternatives with like or higher quality products (particularly clothing and household items) to consider Target as a viable option as the everyday one stop shop right now. Overall excellent job, clean, neat, broad selection, great layout and aesthetic, fantastic store personnel.

I do not understand why everyones drawers are in such a knot over this Target. Im from out of town and this is nicer than my Target at home. Its clean. Its stocked. The cashier was nice and not pushy about the Target card. Some reviewers are just angry people.

I go shopping at target all the time and it was my favorite place. Mostly when I got to see my favorite worker Diego. Sadly I just found out that he was fired and I am really heart broken and if anyone has any information about him please let me know because he was my target friend.
