The people seem nice. It was clean inside. No bathroom for customers. I can understand caution with Covid-19 lingering. Its frightening. If I could give negative stars I would. They told me I needed almost $4000.00 of work on my car. Everything was about to fall apart. It was not safe to drive..I went somewhere else for another opinion where Im getting my repairs done. Its costing barely $500.00 yes five hundred bucks. When this place said just under four THOUSAND bucks. I know times are tuff. But taking advantage of people is bad. Taking advantage of a disabled person is disgusting. Never again.

Friendly and knowledgeable, they take care of you here. Its a good feeling to be able to go to an auto shop and not worry about being lied to or taken advantage of. Definitely the only place for all my service, maintenance, and repairs!

I rarely write reviews, but Id like to give Steve 5 stars for running an honest business with fair prices and good quality work. I do a lot of my own car work,, but I know where to stop. My 2011 Odyssey needed brakes and had a knocking/rattle when turning left. As always, Steve checks the car out and calls me to discuss before doing work. He said front brakes had 25% life but rear brakes needed changing. We agreed to do both axles. The knock was some factory grease/tighten recd by Honda. Many shops would have just said CV joint for a lot of money. In the end, he also changed brake fluid, rotated tires, and checked the car including all fluids and lights/general safety and made sure still roadworthy. All done, the price was still 30% less than the dealer quote for just the brakes alone! Ive had equally good experience with a 2007 Lexus RX 350, still rolling with 85K miles. Ive never gone wrong there. Steve has worked in the shop since the 1960s when it opened. I hope its around for years to come!

I didn’t get any service here, so take that into consideration. Ford replaced my fuel tank which altered my miles till empty, and I ran out of gas up about a third of a mile down the road. I went into the store asking to borrow a gas tank, saying I could leave collateral. To which the owner replied they didn’t have any, I pointed to the multiple containers and clear sight, and he just shrugged it off. I walked to the shop across the street (Napa AutoCare Center) and they willingly lent me a container, like it was no big deal, which it’s not. In one respect you have to be a customer to receive customer service, on the other side of the same coin Steve and company never received that opportunity, but Napa will...

I have lived in the neighborhood on and off since 1978, but only started using them the past 5 to 7 years with my Chevy Venture Mini-van. They live by the hypocratic oath and will try to do the least amount of harm to your pocketbook as possible. They will try to do a small fix instead of a big expensive fix to see if the small fix works and generally it does. They are honest and competent. I heard from a neighbor who recommended him that the Owner is a former Prospect High School Grad so these are long time local people who cant afford to rip anybody off. Other places may be cheaper but you will likely get what you paid for. Here, I think you get quality repairs. I literally drop off my car the night before and stick my key in an envelope through the garage door and sort of explain my problem and they can pretty much figure it out. They seem to have all the advanced computer equipment and even seem to go online to see if there are any fleet defects or common problems with your vehicle. If your car is better served through a dealer for a repair, which is probably not often, they are not afraid to tell you that either. Its 5 years later, different cars, different problems, and im still going to Steve and Arlington Automotive. I trust him with all my cars.

Excellent service, polite and honest owners. Refreshing to find a service shop that does not try and take advantage of its customers.
