Alex, was wonderful to work with. Also, he was professional and responsive about my issue. I had some HID’s with ballast and he was able to get them installed for me. My recent HIDs lights where out so I bought new ones and he was able to replace them for me in a timely manner. The lady in the counter was really friendly and helpful and a people’s person. Has a great attitude towards her customers. Overall, very pleased with this location. Most mechanics are not very experienced, but Alex has a good reputation and knowledge from just talking with him.

Just moved from New York, i replaced my outer tie rods, needed wheel alignment badly. Went to three shops they wanted $175.00. Heard about Altimate Auto Repair by my neighbor. I went to their shop they did the alignment wright away for $69.95. They were polite, trust worthy, honest, and shop real clean.

I drop my van off for change tires and alignment,,and during this they made a huge hole in muffler and pipe was broken from one side,,,,,,when I showed it to Alex he said it is old hole and I drop van with that ( what was not true cus hole was on the side of muffler and its imposible to make it during driving ),,Then he reversed and left,,,,thats how they do business,,,NOT RECOMMENDED !!!here are some picture of rusty muffler with holes !!! Can you see holes???There is only one hole done by you,,, maybe muffler was rusty but its been in one piece

So whenever I have car issues, I go to my dealer but this time my car would not start and my dealer was fully booked so I had no choice but to go to an independent dealer and found Altimate with good reviews. I was towed to the shop and Alex told me he had to diagnose what the issue was and told me it was a bad starter. Replaced a starter at a very good price and he even went up and above by checking my fluids, tire pressure and told me I was low on oil so he filled it up. They did a great job on fixing my car and I was on my way and so far so good and I will highly recommend this shop to anyone. These guys are honest and hard working people.

My dad has been going to Altimate for a few years now and keeps going back so I knew that was a good sign. I just brought his car in for an oil change and front brake job and had a great experience. Cynde at the front desk was patient and listened to our needs. We also inquired about repairing/replacing the instrument panel cluster. Most shops I have used in the past are very reluctant to perform this type of repair. Alex explained to us the labor involved and gave us a quote. He understood why we wanted the repair and was not reluctant to tackle the job. Car was ready sooner than expected and is now winter ready for my aging parents. Altimate exceeded my expectations and charges a fair price.I took my teenage daughters car to Altimate last week for new tires and front and rear brakes. They also fixed an oil leak that has been staining our driveway for months. All of this was done for a very fair price and the staff worked late on the Friday of Labor Day weekend to finish the job. Excellent service, I had no brakes at all, Pedal went to the floor on my 98 Honda Accord. Turns out the lines were rusted/rotted. Replaced with better materials all the lines. Was having trouble with my 2001 Infiniti engine, and within 10 minutes the problem was found. Part was then delivered about a half hour later and put into the car. I was in and out quickly and the service was fantastic. The dealership wanted to do $1800 dollars of repairs to my car, but at Altimate I was in and out for 200 dollars. Would highly recommend 👍

They say that in your life you need a good Doctor, a good lawyer, a good barber and a good Mechanic that understands your issues and addresses them professionally. I have been taking all my cars to Alex and Cynde for the last 16 years and have always come out of there happy. Well i got here for the first time..i had a bug deflector to install and replace the front grill plus a metallic sound in the back of the car..i got a quote fro Alex at the front desk and i droped the car there..he called me after a while and told me what the problem was..he gave a price and we agreed that he is gonna call me next day when the car was ready..he called me next day in the morning to go and pick up the car..when i got there the front grill was not replaced..he apologised and he told me to come back in a couple of hours and he will replace the grill for free..the sound was still there..i got back and we went both for a test drive..he identified the problem and he said that will fix that free of charge..i got back there and they worked on my car for another our fixing both problems..i insisted on paying but Alex refused..this was pure class..he really impresed me and from now on this will be my shop for everything i have to do on my car..they are very profesional and very polite..quick sevice, good quality and the best prices i got between 3 shops arround..thank you Alex and i will be back to replace my running board motor on week end..i would recommend anyone this shop..!

Altimate auto repair is the best, most honest place in the area. When I was told to check this place out Ill admit I was nervous I usually do all my own work on my vehicles but time restrictions prohibited me from replacing my own fuel pump in my 2000 Cadillac Escalade. Altimate auto repair not only replaced my fuel pump in a timely manner with no problems. They also went above and beyond to make bringing my truck to the mechanic a pleasant experience. If I ever need to bring my vehicle to a shop again this will be THE ONLY PLACE I WOULD BRING MY CAR.

What could I ask for more.I have known Alex for over 23 years and ever since the Fire Stone mechanic mixed up the fuel injectors on my mini van(Alex said that it was fuel injectors issue as Fire stone people detected but Fire Stone mixed up the troubled injector because there were 6 injectors on my mini van so my mini van was still having the problem - lost power ). I am very happy to know Alex and I saved a lot of money over the 23 years and now my kids go there too.

I came to shop without appointment and asked them to put winter tires on winter rims. They said yes, we can do it today, but wait or come back in approx 1hr.Great. Thank you - I said- I’ll come back in 1hr.Next day I noticed 1 tire( directional tire) is mounted incorrectly ( not a big deal).I came w/o appointment again and ask them - could you fix it.Front desk lady said yesIt’s going to be around 15 min. I said - fine, but if it’s going to take longer- I’ll come back next day because I have appointment in 1 hr.She said talk to Alex.He was very rude that day and said it’s NOT GOING TO BE 15 min- talk to front desk lady.So -AGAIN - I asked her - how long it’s going to take to fix it. She said - maybe 20-25 min. I said ok - but AGAIN If longer- I can’t wait because I have appointment. She said - no longer.After 20 min of waiting I asked her again - what’s going on. I can’t be late. It’s more than 20 min and I can’t b late. .She said - talk to Alex. He came and just started yelling on me. I said it’s ridiculous-if you knew you won’t b able to help me today - I could come another day w/appointment.I understand - EVERYONE CAN HAVE BAD DAY.but if you work with customers Alex - just try to b nice and keep your word.Finally I lost my appointment. They fix tire after 1hr of waiting.

Ive been a customer for about 10 years. The owner of the shop, Alex, has always been very fair and reasonable with his prices. Whenever he provides a quote he doesnt end up trying to squeeze more out of you or accidentally bump prices like most places. Never had any issues with the quality of the work.

I called to see if they do alignments on lowered cars and they said, Yes, its no problem. I get there and it seemed like no one has seen a lowered car (it still has 4 inches of ground clearance, which is enough for any normal alignment machine). It wouldve easily made it onto their lift but all they were talking about was scratching the bumper and scratching the frame. The workers started mouthing off about me, so I left without hesitation. I wish I could give a 0 star rating.

So far theyve provided honest and reliable service with fair prices. I had a few mechanics look at a problem in my car, and nobody knew why it was stalling. This shops mechanics knew exactly the problem and fixed it perfectly for a fair price.

This is one of the best Auto Repair shops ever. Alex is very honest person. I recently had an issue with EVAP vent valve and went to my honda dealer where i was advised to change 3 different parts and including labor it was costing me around 1300$. I was lucky i didnt fix it with them and went to altimate to get a second opinion.Alex was very honest and told me all we need to do is replace vent valve and ordered the part for me. It hardly costed me around 200$. he didnt charge me for diagnosis again and saved me money. I really appreciate Alexs honest service and this would be my GO TO PLACE for all my auto needs.

Took my car in to have the brakes checked. They could easily have sold me new brakes but told me they arent really needed at this time. I will go back for sure next time I need an oil change or anything else done! I feel I found someone I can trust!

This is the first time Im writing a review. My car broke down in Arlington ht. Rd. on 9-3-2015 in the morning. I took it to near by automotive shop, they said my vehicle needed fuel pump assembly will cost around 1500.00, cant fix until tomorrow. One of my friends recommended call Alex at Altimate Auto Reapir. So I called him, he was really polite, and helpful, I asked him how must fuel pump will cost, he said no more then $485.00. Over the phone he also said fuel pumps hardly goes bad. So, I had my vehicle towed their, they looked at it right away. one hour later they call me, and said, fuel pump is ok. They said the main relay is bad, it will cost $245.15. I was so happy, I got my car back that day. Alex got my business from know on.

Let me begin that if there was a possibility of giving this business minus 5 stars, I would.On 7-12-18(Thur.) I brought my car into Altimate Auto.Cynde, said it will be 14 hours of work, cost $2,385.00 and they will start on it Monday.On the following Monday 7-23-18 I stopped in to find out whats causing the delay and Alex Alegoz the owner put me on the phone with the machine shop to which he out-sourced my motor head. The gentleman from the machine shop, assured me that the head will be by Altimate Auto within an hour. Meanwhile, my car is gutted, parked outside with the window taped up with tape and plastic.When I asked Alex about it, his reply was We had to leave it down, because we disconnected a lot of things.On 7-26-18 Thursday, I pick up my car after being told it was extensively test driven.Paid my bill of $2,423.30.No sooner than I drove a mile, the ENGINE LIGHT came on. The shop is 2.5 miles from me so I brought it home and scanned it and a VVTI selenoid code P1349 came up.When I got back from work, I noticed an oil puddle under my car(never, ever leaked a drop before). I called Cynde, to notify her of the problem and she informed me that Alex went on vacation and they only have one mech. on duty, because the other one quit and suggested I drive it back. I told her that Im not driving a car that I just payed almost $2500 to fix, with an engine light on and informed her that Im canceling the payment. She had it towed and said that Jon,will take a look at it but will not be able to do anything without Alexs authority and hes out of the country...8-06-18 Monday: Alex is back from vacation. I called him and understandably, Im frustrated but not vulgar or abusive and want to know how and when my car will be done. He didnt like my tone of voice and threatened to hang up, because youre being an a%&^le and wanted cash, for me to get my car. ...I told him that I will remove the block on the CC --which I did-- and was able to convince him to use the credit card again.Soo... I go to pick up my car...My car was filthy with antifreeze(that allegedly sprayed all over when someone forgot to put in a plug on the engine block) and has tape residue all over, from the taped up window -- along with the cut horn and oil residue STILL in the reservoir--.Alex said to come back and he would flush it out(should have been done in the first place) and relocate the horn. I pay another $400.00+ dollars for another unnecessary repair -- stemming from a wrong diagnosis --.Alex called me and left me a message and informed me that hes taking me to court, because he claimed that I stopped payment on the card again. (Why would the second bill go through and not the first one? lol) When I called him back and try to explain to him that Cynde, was supposed to re-charge the original charge, because the original one was closed out and that I didnt know that, because I never stopped a payment on a card before and his response was Ill see you in court and dont call me. I texted him and told him that he would look pretty silly explaining to the judge why he would rather go to court, vs. accept a payment.He called me back within 3 minutes, offering to detail my car( HA! As if![I like my paint the way it is. Thanks!])So next day, I go to RE-pay $2,423.00+ and ask him about the 15% coupon they have online and he tells me that its locked in the computer, as an old charge(He as owner can change it) and offers $159.00 worth of oil changes(As if! lol) for me and my friends and family. My friends and family witnessed the entire ordeal and I doubt they want to go through the same.So, the moral of the story is: In preservation of your property, peace of mind and your finances, I would strongly recommend looking at other shops. This review is to offset all the other ones - validity of I doubt -- Thank God, theres copy and paste function, for the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General. ...And where ever else I can warn people about this- Altimate experience and their business practices.Youve been warned.

I BROUGHT MY 07 FORD FREESTLE TO ATA. I HAD MY VEHICLE TOWED FROM THE DEALER SHIP WITH A TRANS PROBLEM. DEALER SHIP QUOTED $6000.00 TO REPAIR THE TRANS, AND IT WOULD TAKE 2 MONTHS TO FIX. ALEX TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $3800.00 AND IT WOULD TAKE 5 DAYS TO FIX. HE KEPT HIS PROMISE TO ME. AFTER THE REPAIR,MY TRANS WORKS SO GOOD, LIKE IT WAS NEW. I DONT BELIEVE ABOUT THE BAD REVIEW I SO.
