Best customer service EVER!!Weve had a problem with a Motorola modem 3 times and every time they were able to exchange even though return policy is only 15 days but we are able to exchange in 2 monthsIm so grateful to Oscar and managers (sorry didnt get their names)Thank you all you really helped us big time !
Best Buy has really come along way in the last few years. Their tech agents are pretty knowledgeable I feel. If they don’t know an answer will always pull up a more savvy agent. The pricing is also very competitive compared to Amazon or any other online retailer and you get the benefit of seen the product in person
I went to the Arlington Heights location and spoke to a staff member named Jeffrey N. He was very helpful in answering my questions about what new computer would fit my needs. He also talked about tech support thats available at the store. In addition he was able to answer some questions I had about a headset. He was very knowledgeable and was able to give information at a level that I understood.
I wouldn’t order anything online from Best Buy! We had order a very expensive oven from them that was suppose to be delivered 4 days from the day we ordered. The delivery guys show and say we don’t have your oven on our truck and just drive away! Then make us wait a whole week to get it installed when they could have just went to the warehouse to get it! Then we call customer service and they say all they can do is give a gift card. So no money loss for them and they just give you $50 to shop back them with them! The oven was over $3,000!!!! Customer service is horrible! Save the headache!!!

No wonder Best buy is going down hill. it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a car audio question answered. the Call center, which you have to go through, will not connect you unless you give them you info to schedule your appointment firs. well why would i make an appointment when i dont now what i am getting? and then, they just transfer you back through the call center all over again. what a joke.
It was kind of funny today in the store. Just after they opened people were still getting to there different areas a a customer started is anyone here I want to buy something you could hear throughout the store. The guy at the returns area said he would get someone and he did then the guy started yelling at him he was very cool how he did such a great job of handling the situation the guy bought his stuff and left.
Meh. They employees don’t know what they’re talking about. I understand it’s a pandemic and they might be new. However I called for something before I went to make sure it was in stock. They ensured they did not have it. Even the manager said they did not have it. Finally they went into their system and sure enough it was in stock. I just know in the future I have to force them to look things up.
4/03/21 we went to the Arlington heights IL best buy located on 615 E palatine rd, we returned a computer and was told that we will be issued a refund via check in the mail, its been well over 6 weeks and still no check, Ive called store location where they directed me to contact accounts, was told several time that I will receive and email or a phone call in regards to the computer return, never received either, called again and was given an investigation no. And told I will hear back withing 48 to 72 hrs, never heard anything back. Called corporate office where the lady forgot to put me on hold and I heard her saying I dont know why hes calling here still issue not resolved, called best buy store and was told I will be given a call back, its about to go on to 2 months since I was supposed to be given a refund yet I have not gotten no refund nor a solution for the problem, this has gotten beyond ridiculous and I would like this issue resolved ASAP!
I had the worst experience with the Geek Squad at this location. I went to the store around 6:20 PM and did not leave until 9:00 PM. I set an appointment through Apple in order to get a replacement phone. The Sales Consultant (Tim S.) who works at Geek Squad let an employee in training handle three customers at a time. So I had to wait and the employee did not know the process. Tim barely wanted to step in. I even let them know that I had to pick up my boyfriend. They were bot respectful of my time. Once I finally got my replacement phone, the worker did not even try to properly transfer my SIM card to my new phone and also stated that all data from my old phone would be deleted. After, Tim S. pushed me off on an employee in a different department to finish the rest. Geek Squad was supposed to handle the transfer but failed to do so. The employee in the other department was extremely sweet and helpful, but had a lot of trouble plus this was not her job to begin with. When she called corporate, corporate stated that Geek Squad was supposed to handle my issue. We had to bring the old phone back which STILL HAD ALL MY INFORMATION ON. It got so late that Tim just suggested we leave and come back the next day without even helping. So I spent all of this time in the store to not have my issue fixed with horrible customer service. Definitely never coming back to this location. If you’re a Sprint/Tmobile customer just go through the app and switch your device online.

What gives...you have to sign up for an appointment to buy ear buds now? How can a retail store succeed if they make it so hard to shop? Is shoplifting that big a threat? I doubt Ill shop hear again...its like willing to spend customers arent trusted to buy what they want/need without a chaperon...almost insulting...waited over fifteen minutes, then I left.
Honestly great place to buy but the staff which are suppose to know at least something about technology seems absolutely clueless about anything related to technology.

Super friendly staff, store was not crowded. Albeit the square footage is a little smaller than that of a typical Best Buy they still had a stellar line-up of products.
The associate in the computer department was friendly showed us 3 solid choices and even helped ke.look up some electric scooter options.

They dont honor nation-wide recycling rebate programs. I walked in at around 4pm on a Wednesday, on the premise that I could get a 15% discount on a particular product when I recycle a used product of the same type. The service representative was adamant that this program did not exist in her system, and refused to concede when I demonstrated the program exists.There are better Best Buys; Im going to avoid this one in the future. This one has extremely limited selection, is dimly lit, and has that feeling of retail decay.

Stay away from this location at all costsI should’ve listened to other reviews before me. Came here to return a TV arrived damage and pick up a new one. I couldn’t bring the TV in the store myself and asked the customer service guy to have someone helping me. He said no you have to go out to your car because the he already told the warehouse staff to bring the new one out. And told me to give the one I returned to that same staff.I got my returned order scanned. Three days nothing updated. I called online customer support (gladly I did it). Long story short, had to stay on the phone for 1hr to wait for her to call the store and proceed my return.They said the TV I returned went to recycle (trash or whatever) as my old TV now a new damaged TV I returned. I am so lucky I felt sth is not right and call right away. Imagine I waited…Also rude staff. Their fav words to their customers “no you have to do this or that…” in order to be supported.

Ordered for pick up few times before got a nice quick service. Went yesterday to buy ring doorbell and outside security camera. The ring camera I wanted showed it was in stock but wasn’t anywhere on the shelf. 2 3 employees searched everywhere and was able to find it for me, I’m assuming from the back. So that was very nice! Will come shop here again
I called the Arlington Heights location and went through the automated prompts for tech support. I had downloaded the suggested app to connect to a live agent. After being on hold for over 20 minutes I hung up. I called the store back and unsuccessfully tried to speak to a store manager via teleprompter. Again, no employee answered the phone after 10 minutes. It makes one wonder if there’s actually anyone even in the store and definitely frustrated if you purchased merchandise from there and were calling to ask a question. Would not purchase from here again.

They try and stay up to date and in stock on popular and new items from blu-ray//DVD to game consoles to t.v. series. Friendly staff. Always someone ready to assist and help. They go above and beyond to make sure you have what you want and or need. This location is close to me but also another not far in different direction. I prefer this one because how Im treated and how they just are so very kind. The staff including management, go above and beyond so your experience is a great experience. And during times as crazy as these, its nice to see a store practice social mandated orders properly with kindness. My go to Best Buy. Thanks for working so hard and upfront so we can shop safely. Ordered a product from here and paid extra for same day shipping. There website even says that most orders arrive on time. But Ive been waiting for more than 3 days now. Also, I ordered another product from the same store and the same thing happened. Bad shipping.
The service I received today is why shopping in person is better than shopping online. All of my questions were answered and I learned far more about the products then I ever would have otherwise. I couldnt be happier with my experience!

Great selection, awful customer service.I placed an online order for a part I needed for my PC, which was supposed to be ready in an hour. I got to the store a little early and they said it wasn’t ready yet. No big deal. They said it should be ready in 15 minutes. I ended up waiting for around 30 minutes without anyone updating me on the status of the part. At this point it’s been well over an hour since I placed the original order. I go up to the customer service desk for an update and they tell me that “they have to search the truck for the part because there’s none on the shelves”. I go over to the PC section and there are 3 of the parts I needed sitting in plain sight. Got the part myself and went to the desk where I waited another 10 minutes for them to fill out paperwork. Staff was unapologetic and seemed indifferent about the situation. Original guy at the desk was too busy on his phone apparently. Would’ve been faster for me to drive to the store and pick it up myself and not deal with the “customer service” desk.

I went for some computer service. The associate was very nice and took time with me, even though I didnt have an appointment.The shelves in the store, however, looked baron. Not very inviting for shopping.The price of the service was a little high, but was well done by the staff.

When i checked on the website, the item I was looking for was shown as available in my his location. I figured why wait for the Amazon to deliver when you can go and buy. When I came to the store, the item was not there. I was offered to order it, the price came out $50 more:) I ended up going home and ordering from Amazon. Advice: call the store to check if website’s info is correct before you go!

The staff didnt seem to be interested on opening the locked case that had the tablet I wanted to purchase. And one of the staff snapped at me. Not sure what the issue was but I ended up not purchasing anything because I already waited for someone to help for 35 minutes and still didnt show up.

I purchased online via curbside pickup and the guy that came out demanded an id when the app says just to show the code so there is no contact but this worker insisted I show him my id and roll down the window so he could look at it witch made me uncomfortable how close he got to me couldnt he just look at the code and put it in the trunk like he was supposed to that way it would of truly been contactless also what if I didnt have my id would he of not accepted the code and then I would just of waisted time and gas to go there for no reason im not buying liquor or beer so I didnt see the need to roll down my window so he could just get closer to me best buy should follow there own rules.
Staff was super friendly and the store looks pretty clean. It also looked pretty empty but I think thats more because of the current pandemic. But I wont knock off a star for that.

Waited on the phone for over 30 minutes in 3 different occasions. There is no way that even if a single employee was operating the phones it would take that long to get someone on the phone. The online chats are unavailable, there is no way to communicate with the store...
Unlike the best buy at Schaumburg location these people are really friendly, helpful and patient. No matter what the problem is they will try their best to help and solve the issue. Especially the customer care and geek squad people. Recently bought a laptop to which I paid for through best buy credit card forgetting that I had the gift cards to which these guys helped me redeem it by cancelling it and purchasing again. Kiki was so helpful and she helped me save 400$.And then there is the schaumburg location which is completely opposite, seems like they(most of them) got some real attitude and communication problem. They act like they are there only for rich customers.😏 They make only your problems much more complicated.
