The building where the store La Gran Familia at 174 Jose de Diego Avenue in Arecibo use to belong to my family, the Barcelo & Company S.C. since the beginning of the 20 th. century when they arrived from Soller Mallorca in Spain. It was a Wholesale grocery store until 1964 which was destroy and rebuilt to what it stands today.
