Walked down the street from Thomas Tires hoping to find a coffee shop. Boy was I in luck. This coffee shop is tucked away, you barely even know its here, but boy is it a gem. Filled with the great smells of good coffee, ice cream, and fresh baked goods its a lovely place to sit down a relax. The owner was very nice, and heartwarming. I am very picky about my coffee, and I absolutely loved the flavor of it, nothing complicated, just simple good strong coffee. With how reasonable the prices are, I am surprised they have stayed open for 3 years. She didnt even force a tip on me like most businesses using square. I hung out here for 2 hours while I waited for my car maintenance to be done, and not once was bother by anyone, what a wonderful Cafe experience. The gift shop is full of random things from local vendors, I highly recommend you check out that area. Some of it is a bit tacky, but there are also some really cool stuff like the bismuth statues. The owner will occasionally sit down and paint also when there is free time. I would like to see this place blossom, and pick up a few employees, this place is wonderful.

Cute little cafe with a great variety of coffees and teas. So many tempting pastries it was hard to decide! The Cream Cheese Danish was amazing.

The speciality coffee samosa cookie was delicious!. As was their chocolate almond biscoti. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back again

This barista is awesome. She makes everything exactly how I like. There are so many delicious options. The London Fog tea is my favorite. They serve homemade cakes, hand dipped ice cream and other sweets and pastries from Cheesecakes by Alex in downtown Greensboro. There is a great seating area and everything is very clean. I was trying to find a good ice cream place in Archdale that way I didnt have to drive all the way to high point or Greensboro. I found this place on Google maps, and I honestly wish I would have found it sooner! The lady that runs the place is so nice. She made me a banana split letting me choose any flavors of ice cream that I wanted in it, and it was absolutely delicious! It was exactly what I was craving, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good ice cream, coffee and desserts!

WOW. Absolutely amazing customer service and quality. I wanted to get a cake for my sisters birthday but live out of state. They were so cooperative in helping me make her day special. She said the cake ( banana pudding ) was the best cake she’s ever had. Even my little sister who doesn’t eat sweets loved it.

Hands down the best coffee spot around. They play K-Love Christian music on the radio. Couches and tables alike for casual coffee dates with friends. Put it this way, I drive 25-30 minutes just to come here, bypassing a Starbucks on my way there and its only less than 10 minutes from my house.Plus I love to support local families and this is exactly that. If you ever get the chance to stop in, do it. Youll be glad you did!My favorite drink is the Lg Caramel Macchiato (hot) made with Skim Milk and SF vanilla.

Great small business. Staff is friendly and inviting. They always make sure your a satisfied customer. Great coffee and snacks. My daughter loves the frozen hot chocolate. They also sell crafts and other items made from local vendors in the area . They are a local business helping small business highly recommend.

Great atmosphere and great selections. Had a delicious cappuccino this visit but have tried some of the other selections. Have not been disappointed. The staff has been pleasant and helpful. The craft nook has also been an important resource for gifts for my children and girlfriend alike! Would definitely recommend both.

This is a great place to come for a quick snack and a delicious drink! They have a large selection of drink options and plenty of yummy cakes and pastries. While waiting for your drink, be sure to check out their gift area as well where you can find handmade kitchen supplies and home decor and plenty of other odds and ends! This has such a nice, clean environment and friendly staff!

I especially love their Italian vanilla cream horns. I havent tried everything yet but I have liked everything I have tried so far. My family are definitely repeat customers. And, the wait staff is so nice!

The chat and chew is a comfortable, warm environment with friendly, helpful staff. From their specialty coffees to there amazing desserts just an all-around wonderful experience. And if you like pumpkin spice do yourself a favor and try the house special Wicked Pumpkin.

Me and the wife absolutely love this little place, Kim is amazing and makes some excellent coffee drinks and the baked goods are all top notch. Ive never had anything I didnt like from here and I honestly think if there was Kim would make it right.

Though nothing fancy, this is a cute little coffee shop. Their prices cant be beat, and neither can their friendly service be outdone! They also have stewards program which, though a little different, can still be a plus. You have to order at least $5 of food/coffee in one visit in order to get a point. After 10 points, you get a reward - maybe $5? I dont remember. Anyway, since their regular prices are so low, Im not complaining about having to spend $5 to get a point!They offer suggestions, and are also willing to customize drinks for you. As icing on the cake, they offer coffee delivery! Besides specialty drinks and coffee, they also have ice cream, pastries, and cake.In another part of the shop are craft displays from local vendors. There are many cute items, from wall decor, to soap, to kitchen items. Its definitely a great place to stop in!

I really like this place they have ice cream, coffee drinks, baked goods, and a ton of locally made items. You can well talk, shop, drink and snack. The only thing I would say is some things are pricey. But I think everyone should go though and its great for small business meetings, girlfriends that need to catch up or couples on a date!!

For $6 per cup of coffee it is a bad deal. Never open on time, always closes early. Even got told to leave while sitting in the empty parking lot drinking coffee that I had just bought there. For $15 dollars (2 coffees and the tip) I didnt think it would be much of a problem to sit and drink it. Was told to leave by the owners husband.

I needed to turn around and happened to pull into their parking lot. I saw coffee and baked goods and I was sold. Went in and the comforting lovely aroma of good coffee enveloped me. Kim was at the counter and was so kind and welcoming! She told me all about their different coffee drinks and all the combinations/flavors/varieties. I got the creme brulee latte and a croissant and they were just what the doctor ordered. The drink was DECAF! But lacked nothing in flavor. The croissant had guava and cream cheese filling and was delicious. And the prices are super reasonable! Im going to have to accidentally come here more often.

Near, quaint place. Locally owned. Serves coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, etc. Also serves hand-scooped ice cream in about a dozen flavors. Some good baked goods to munch. Also incorporates a gift shop.

I will not be back to this place! The store is cute with many handmade items. The ice cream is ok. The service is in the toilet. If you plan to run an adult only ice cream establishment that needs to be posted!! They were rude to our children because they requested ice cream and told my kids that you would only take requests from an adult (I understand the intention but the manner in which it was done was as if you were disgusted by the fact kids were in your business.) Employee became hostile when my son tapped the glass to point at what he would like to have. He wasn’t hurting anything only excited about getting Superman ice cream. Then your employee followed me around the store like a criminal because my children were with me constantly reminding them not to touch. I know how to control my kids and if they break something I will pay for it. If I can make a recommendation you need to separate the 2 stores and hire kid friendly staff for the ice cream side. I would only recommend this place to families with adult age children. Left feeling extremely disappointed for a small business since we as a family try and support local small businesses.

Popped in for a slice of cheesecake as I was having a pregnancy craving for something sweet!Great space for unique gifts, comfortable seating to enjoy a sweet treat/coffee with friends and very friendly service. The staff was busy with another order but immediately spoke and said she’d be right with me, which made me feel comfortable and a welcome especially since I had my two year old son with me that day!Will definitely be back for coffee and another slice of cheesecake with my kids soon!

I love the Chat & Chew! This is a warm and welcoming place to chat and chew. I get the Chai Tea Latte the Owners way,...just the right amount of sweet, and Im working my way through all of the delicious pastries. Theres ice cream and crafts for sale too. Definitely a nice change from Starbucks, and a great way to support local business.

Kim provides the most awesome customer service possible. Booked her for a baby shower and everything was perfect! I had no worries at all. She is always kind and gives all aspects of her business a very personal touch. I live in Durham but make a trip to her shop every time I visit Archdale to enjoy the cheesecake and company and can always find goodies I cant live without in the Craft Nook.

Went in the store and was greeted by a friendly outgoing owner. Ordered with my daughter who couldnt decide what kind of goodies she wanted. Lady ( Kim) behind the counter did Everything in her power to make sure that my daughter had a scrumptious goody as went above and behind to heat up her brownie for her the whole time she answered all of my questions about the different kinds of cheesecake she had. The GOODIES ( cheesecake, brownie, and a coffee) were delicious and I would HIGHLY recommend dropping by and giving them a try...I AM GOING TO BE A REPEAT CUSTOMER 💛🎂🍰🍨. Next is icecream....

LOVE this new coffee shop in Archdale! Finally, a place to stop for ice cream or a baked treat on the way home from picking the kids up at school, and for a coffee treat for me :) The staff is so friendly and hospitable, and they have a great room for just hanging out with friends and enjoying conversation and coffee. I also love all the hand made items for sale. This is an awesome place to find a gift for anyone! This mornings coffee, muffin, and chai tea latte was excellent. I drove past this shop last week and made arrangements to come in for coffee. The place was right up my alley with all the crafts. The muffins, cant say how delicious it was. The whole time I was there it felt like home. I will be back...

Nice little crafts store, with handmade decor and other things for the home. The barista was very kind and the coffee is good. A lovely place to sit and chat.

I visited the cafe with my mother and 18 month daughter and we had a lovely time. My daughter was fascinated with all the beautifully crafted handmade jewelery, bows, and clothes, so we picked out an adorable Dr. Seuss set for her. We toured the birthday party area and love the idea of a crafting/artsy birthday party. My daughter loves to paint and draw at daycare, so this would make a great birthday set-up! Afterwards we relaxed in the cafe and ate delicious ice cream; a perfect end to our visit. Kim was a gracious host and we enjoyed the comfy and peaceful environment. We will definitely be back to try the other desserts!
