Owners a great guy very straight forward and informational makes you feel at home in his store was able to make a purchase of a firearm which I couldn’t find at multiple stores in the area highly recommended and would definitely return due the experience

Not sure how I feel about this place. I guess neutral?? Its almost never open. Apparently it’s closed Monday thru Wednesday. And when it actually is open, it’s only open for a few minimal hours. And some of those hours are very difficult for me. It’s a great shop with a cool layout, but the hours it’s actually open are disappointing. Also, David is a great guy but it always seems like he’s out of ammo and doesn’t have much supply.

Went down there to renew my FSC, David was super helpful. We got to talking about all the one star reviews, and it’s obvious they all stem from people who have no idea how the FFL system and general gun ownership culture works. Coming from a long background in customer service and retail, we both had a good laugh about it (he’s got a great sense of humor). He even told me where I can find ammo cheaper than what he has it for, but I’d rather buy it from him for more just for his customer service alone (assuming he has it, but that is ABSOLUTELY not his fault; blame the system in place before you start taking it out on small businesses like his). I will ABSOLUTELY go back to him for any of my needs in the future over other stores where they automatically treat you like you have no idea what you’re talking about. Go in with a good attitude, treat the firearms with the respect they deserve, and treat him with the respect he deserves, and I guarantee you’ll have a fantastic experience!

Didnt manage to get the shop owners Name, but him an his wife where Very polite an professional about their business, they had a very nice selection of hand guns an a couple rifles an shotguns.Love how its located where it is.Over all the guy knows his stuff an loves what he does. Will come back to get my first gun here Forsure!! Also has alot of other accessories for the Equipment. With the very convenient protection stuff like the backpack body protector thing (sorry dont know its actual name)

Today, I went into the shop and was greeted by David. I told him I was looking to buy a hand gun and that it was my first purchase. Unfortunately, because of recent events, David’s stock was almost empty. However, he had a Glock 17 in stock and I told him “I’ll take it!” The price was a little bit high, but given the current situation of our country, I am all for supporting local businesses and also because David had the firearm I was looking for. My experience here was great and everything went smoothly. David was professional and I enjoyed chatting with him. Now, I just have to wait the 10 days to pick up my firearm. For now, I have found my go-to gun shop and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you David!On a side note: The negative reviews just baffles me. Please do not take them seriously. To me, they sound like individuals who did not have things go their way. I, myself am Chinese, and at no point was David condescending or rude towards me or the other customer that was in the shop. The whole time I was in his shop, David was friendly and professional.

The owner took pity on me when I was having problems with my glock 17 and showed me how to correctly use the take down pins because in my excitement I was overdoing things would suggest going back a 1000 times over. Looking for a new handgun which these days is damn near impossible. Went to the shop and David(owner) was very helpful and informative and he had the gun i wanted and bought and rifle as well. Arcadia Firearm and Safety is an outstanding shop and all the people there are awesome and professional. As a newer gun owner in California they have helped me every step of the way: from getting my FSC, to purchasing and eventually picking up and owning a firearm. They made me feel welcomed and had the answers to all my newbie questions. Even amidst the COVID chaos they have been super understanding and helpful. Chatted with David via Google after looking up gun stores. He answered my questions late into the evening past 9pm Saturday, even though I was expecting him to answer till next day. Going to go take a look at his inventory and see where it goes from there. So far pretty good experience.

I thought it was just me but after reading these reviews apparently quite a few people has the same experience.The owner is very condescending towards certain asian customer groups. When I was there checking availability for ammos, I saw the owner almost verbally insulted a couple. Granted that they didnt have much knowledge of guns but there questions are all legit, like how shall I keep this gun safe at home. The owner just blasted them with cynical comments. Even a bystander like me felt very uncomfortable.I have been to quite a few gun stores. Most of the guys in the gun stores are all knowledgeable and willing to help. This place is really odd, it seems that the owner had made up his mind not wanting certain customers.

My husband and I recently went to Arcadia Firearm and Safety purchased a pistol and a long gun. It was a great experience to shop with them. The store owner was very nice and knowledgeable. I was able to find a gun that I like it and feel comfortable with. At one point I was debating between two pistols but with Davids (owner) suggestion I end up buying the less expensive one. Very satisfy with store services. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is interest to buy a firearms

Around 2-3 months ago, me and my friends when there was treated very unfriendly. Back then, China had better relationship with hongkong. After reading your guys reviews I feel relieved, once I thought I was the only one to be treated like that. It seems like David got covered by his friends very well. I saw people were treated bad but still buy his products. I just feel sorry for them. I cant say David is a bad person, but his store is difinitly not for everyone.

Great shop, and no attitude from the owner, unlike other shops nearby. Some smaller gun shops have owners/workers that carry an attitude of “we know more than you so we are better than you,” but not here! David is an extremely helpful owner that’s always willing to answer questions about firearms, no matter if it’s silly or not. Great pricing, and it’s really a breath of fresh air to come across a helpful shop like this after being to other gun shops and getting an earful of attitude from them. I’ll definitely be heading back here again!

$900 for a Glock 17 (before Tax, and Registration) is about $300 more than Regular price, and theyre definitely marking up for the Covid demand.Call around, and make the drive if you can find something resaonably priced.

Just passing by and go ask some question. Shop is not big and not easy to find. Owner David have excellent fire arms knowledge, talkative and very nice. Stay for more than one hour and David share a lot of information with me and he never hard sell anything. Great shopping experience even I finally not buy anything, but no doubt I will highly recommend this gun shop.

If you are a Chinese, or you don’t want to be treated rude, don’t go to this store. He treated people very rude, especially Chinese. Look at all those one star reviews. I have the same attitude as one of the previous comments: someone this angry shouldn’t be selling guns or do private business.

If you are Chinese, dont go this store. Because the boss is from Hongkong and very rude to Chinese. If you are Chinese, you will know the reason.

Owners are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Everythings price is very decent.They know what are they selling and they love to tell you whats the best thing for you to buy.I got 3 pieces from them and a lot small stuff.It just a great place to be there and just talk to them is very fun!

My experience at Arcadia Firearm and Safety was an unexpected pleasure. Davis was knowledgeable, polite and courteous, he sincerely took the time to walk me through every step of the licensing firearm process. I will most definitely return and look forward to us conducting a great deal of business in the future.

Went to this hole in the wall with a friend looking for a home defense pistol. The shop is run by the owner and his girl friend, both of whom are very condescending. They push for certain brands and styles of pistols (mostly likely due to high profit margin), and if you prefer something else, they steer your away by calling you ignorant and clueless. And they force you to make a purchase decision on the spot, very high pressure sales tactic. If you want to be verbally abused and harassed to make a purchase, then by all means walk on in. Otherwise, walk on by and AVOID!BTW, the owner Mr. David Liu has apparently chosen to dispute this review by giving himself 5 stars. LOL Look at his review, he is one angry person. I will not bother refuting him line by line, except to say that he should take anger management class. Someone this angry should not be selling guns!

These people are lazy and they do not want to do private party transfers, we know that the shop does not make any money off it but you would think getting people in their shop would be the idea, it wouldnt be the first time I went to a small firearm shop to do a private party transfer and ended up buying something that they had on hand.... I guess theyre lost!!!

Yesterday accompanied a friend to this shop to see the gun. Because my friend bought a gun for the first time, there are some questions to ask, the owner seems very impatient! !! !! The attitude and tone of speech is obvious: dogs see people low! If everyone knows so much professional stuff, do you still need you? If your business must be a pretense professional and harassment, then even if you make money, it is not worthy of respect! Service is very poor! The price of this store is also higher than other stores!It is recommended that you do not rush into medical treatment! Do not recommend this shop!Super bad experience with this shop! The service was horrific! The owner ridiculously gave himself 5 stars reviews. If you go out without a raincoat you risk getting wet! Go for it!

The owner really knew the gun very well, and told me a lot of gun holding skills, which was very helpful for my shooting results. It is highly recommended that novices come to this gun to buy guns, which will greatly help future gun use and safety. to avoid detours.
