The Schroeder team made our relocation so much less stressful! From my initial virtual walk through with Mike, to coordinating our move with Troy, I always felt assured and the communication was great. That being said, I was still stressed about what the crew would be like on moving day due to previous bad experience with a different company. I couldnt have been more impressed with the crew that showed up! Dave, who was our driver and team leader was amazing! He had many years of experience, and it showed. His level of customer service was unbelievable and put us at ease immediately. Tony was another member of our crew that deserves high praise. He was so focused and efficient while taking incredible care with our items. The whole crew did a great job and I couldnt be happier that we chose to go with Schroeder!

We used Schroeder Moving about 3 months ago to pack our items to move to Japan. We had the absolute best experience with them! I spoke with Troy to arrange the pack outs and he was very friendly, professional, and answered every question and concern I had. The actual packers arrived on time every day of the move and were also so professional and polite. We had to do 2 separate pack outs, a month apart from each other, so we had 2 different groups of movers show up and I had a great experience with each one. Once we received our items in Japan absolutely nothing was lost, and only 1 lamp was broken! Huge success!

Not only were the crew at Schroeder able to get me schedule inside a month after a closing date was set for my house (which is tough after many college kids have left for school), but they really did a great job. From Spencer who helped me from the onset, to Troy who coordinated the move and Aaron & crew that did the move - they were all prompt, courteous, and did a great job with our stuff. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a move in the future!

We had a wonderful experience moving with Schroeder Moving! From the people in home office to the movers, everyone had our interests in mind and ensured every T was crossed and i dotted. Our head mover, Wilson, was so professional, and ensured that his team comprised the best of the best. They were on time both days, pick-up and drop-off, and were extremely efficient. Everything was packed delicately, and none of our items were lost or broken in transit. We dont plan to move any time soon, but if we find ourselves looking for movers/packers again, we will certainly call Schroeder.

They handled our move details with efficiency and carefulness throughout a rather hairy time of real estate closures on both ends, storage options, packing and transporting of fragile art and furniture and the timing of everything. This is the second time we have used Schroeder Moving. The first was out of state—across country from California. The second was in state. Both times, the move went smoothly. Our belongings were loaded and unloaded without damage and our furniture was put back together well. The lead workers and other loaders were friendly and professional. We definitely plan on using Schroeder again.

It went very smoothly. They moved everything cross country. Our only concern we had to have another truck move our stuff from our house to the moving truck. We didnt find out about this until the day before.

The best moving experience we have ever had (it was our 31st move).The driver was exceptional, came out early to prepare, organized the loading and unloading teams like clockwork. I have used Schroeder three times in the past five years. One in-state move of our home/farm and one out of state move of both my home and business. In all three we utilized the full-service packing and furniture disassembly/re-assembly option. Having moved 14 other times in 30 years; either on our own, with friends trucks, rental equipment, pods, or even hiring a couple of cut-rate movers- nothing compares to the stress-free experience of Schroders full-service professional experience. Worth every penny to avoid stress, injury, and damage. My work keeps me travelling a lot and every few years we seem to move to where the most work activity is occurring. In both of my last home moves I was not even on site, at work remotely, and the full service move enabled my wife to simply point and answer questions for the professional packers, loaders, drivers, and assembly people. What a gift to her for her patience to endure so many relocations. In a way, Schroeders full-service moves have helped our marriage endure the stress. They are always clean, courteous, professional, and on time if not ahead of schedule. Would not have made this last move if we did not have them to handle everything for the home and office. Simply the best and I would ask for them by name!

You can overnight on the property, if youre picking up/dropping at BASF Appleton, WI. Not sure about use of restroom facility for drivers. Theres a Wal-Mart with-in 4 miles.

We were quite surprised at the high level of quality this mover provided. The setup experience was efficient. The 3 men were on time, and quite professional and friendly. They worked hard, were polite, and really cared about the quality they provided.The whole process was professional, and stress free. At the same time, their pricing was reasonable and very competitive.We would recommend them to anyone who needs to move a household.

Schroeder Moving, Appleton WI, and specifically Mike Smith on the front end of the move, are fantastic to work with. Very professional, high quality, with extremely quick response and turn around of service. We had never had a moving company move us before so we had no idea what to expect. We were so glad we had this crew! From our consultant to the movers, everything went smoothly! The packers came early, ready to work! They worked hard and fast in the heat, no less. They were very professional and friendly! Boxes were all labeled real well and when they packed us in our storage unit, I couldnt believe the neatness!! They were even able to give us a little isle to move around in, in case we needed to get something out. All the boxes in the unit were readable from that isle. It was amazing!! We used Schroeder Moving systems as we booked our move through Mayflower. We were moving from Wisconsin to Florida and decided it would be safest to go with a name brand. The driver attempted to drive down a steep embankment and the belly of the truck became stuck on the pavement. This caused a major stress to the load and broke a large amount of antique furniture. The legs were sheared off of couches and the antiques were so poorly packed that there were scratches all over every surface. A large Green Egg was packed on top of chandeliers.The driver had to call a tow truck to pull the truck loose and he arrived about 5 hours late. The unloading crew did not have enough time to unload the truck and the next day there was no crew provided. My wife and I had to unload the truck ourselves even though we paid for a full service move. The antique armoires were taken apart and still are to this day. We have filed an insurance claim and are waiting on them to contact us. Schroeder moving company has been completely unresponsive and refuses to talk with me to adjust the 16,000 plus bill.Do not use this company and do not use Mayflower. Total scam artists

Just moved to Appleton from Portland Oregon and the Schroeder folks made the move so easy. Holly at the main office was easy to reach and on top of everything. And Mel, driving the truck and managing the unload in Appleton was totally awesome as were the other guys doing the unloading. It almost made moving fun... OK, no one will believe that, but it couldnt have been smoother.

I contacted Schroeder to move from WISCONSIN to Iowa. Terry did the survey, k we about the cats and the cat odor in the residence. Still, told me it was no problem, gave me an outrageous quote of $14000.Movers showed up, saw the cats and walked away, never saying anything to me. Terry then said I had to go buy fans, open windows and doors and hed send someone back.That someone return ed, told me no problem, they could pack and load the next day. Then he left. Then Terry told me the move was cancelled. I called several times and got no response until I sent text. He then said he told me it was understood the cats had to be locked up during move and no smell. He did nothing if the sort!!He demanded the $14000 yo arrive overnight and it did. After cancelling the move Terry said I could pick up the refund check the next morning in the office. I called to confirm. He said yes. Arrived at office. Nope. Cant do that they need to mail it.While dealing with Terrys lies trying to get back the money, I contacted 4 other movers. Every single one of them agreed to do the job for around $7000. I CHOSE one, and now I have to wait for the return of my money.I dont know if the entire company is slimey, but it us clear from the reviews that Terry is.Its nice to know the company isnt responsive and is still employing this unscrupulous liar.Twice as much as any other company called?!! Thank God his drivers were also unprofessional or Id be out $7K.

United van lines did an excellent job assisting with my move from WI to CA. From the beginning Terry, from Schroeder moving systems was professional and upfront with the cost and time frame I was looking at for the move. He came back and re-estimated based on things we sold and decided not to move with us. Debbie from Schroeder was also wonderful, always answering my questions via email in a timely manner. Our driver, Jeff took charge at both ends with loading and unloading and was upfront about when he would arrive in California. I decide to go with United based on my experience with Terry, after that the rest of the people were great as well, if you can get this team to assist you in your move, you will not regret it.

We recently completed a move from Wisconsin to Minnesota. Schroeders handling of the move was excellent. From estimate to final delivery of our household goods, everything went smoothly. Every step was on time and our goods arrived without a single new scratch.

We have used Schroeder moving twice now for relocations. They are fabulous. They packed all our items with care. They do a great job of minimizing any potential for damage. The employees are quick, polite, and verify if there is any doubt about where items should go. The office staff is great with communicating with you when to expect everything.

Do NOT deal with this company – you will be sorry! We contracted with them 5/24/16 to move our household goods from Neenah, WI to South Jordan, UT on 6/23/16. Delivery range of 6/27 to 7/2 was given. Movers arrived promptly 6/23 to load our goods onto their van. Movers were courteous and completed the move out efficiently. Prior to their departure, we were informed by the lead that there was no driver for the truck The contents of the van were going to be UNLOADED and PLACED IN THEIR WAREHOUSE until a DRIVER COULD BE LOCATED. The move out was 8 days ago and there still is NO DRIVER!! We were never informed of this possibility by their sales agent, Terry Wuethrich, at the time of the quote or anytime during the contracting process. We were informed there is a SLIGHT CHANCE a driver may be able to load NEXT WEEK, but only if he can fit our stuff onto this truck. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service and treatment from a supposedly NATIONWIDE company. Obviously their policy is to move larger, more profitable orders first and not those based on time of contract. They had ONE MONTH to locate a driver. Meanwhile, we are living in our condo with no furniture, no beds and no way to cook!! Absolute jerks!!

Randy did my estimate for 350 mile move. He told me about an option to use shipping containers. Our 1-br condo would fit in 2 containers. Loading was was scheduled for later the same week! We then contacted the agent for the destination and made an appointment for delivery 2 weeks later. We loaded United Van and delivered Mayflower Van. They work together. Thanks to Randy, Debbie & Nick and his loading crew. Schroeder United knows customer service.

Horrible experience. We were quoted $1324 for the packing portion of the move and given a target delivery time of 6 days. After we moved to our new placed we were notified that no one is available to deliver our possessions for another two weeks. And the new target delivery time is the week when both my husband and I will be out of town. We notified Schroeder about this and were ignored. We were forced to contact a second moving company in order to get our possessions in a reasonable time frame. Once we received our things I realized that most of the boxes were packed half full at best - there were jumbo boxes with two bottles or wine or a lamp shade - and we were being charged for each box. This is at best dishonest and essentially theft. In addition, the glass shelves in the curio hutch were broken or missing because they were carelessly wrapped in thin sheets of paper. Meanwhile they bubble wrapped by tupperware. And to top it all off, the final bill is $1900+ even though the actual weight was nearly 100 lb lighter than estimate. Of course we called Schroeder again. This time we were told this new bill includes an extra warehouse holding fee and that its my husbands fault for not overseeing the movers during the packing process.In summary, this is an unscrupulous and dishonest company. STAY AWAY.

Customer service rep and sales person have poor communication skills. I have emails from them that state one thing as far as moving dates and then when it came time for the move, there were different dates. They made no apology for the inconvenience. It made the move very stressful. For the cost, I would not use Schroeder again. The workers that came to our house worked hard.

We have used Schroeder Moving for their GO Minis when we did some remodeling to our home. It was nice to have the container right at our house so we could access our belongings as we needed them.

Had to use Schroeder to move across the country because my employer was paying for it. I was given a 2 week window for the move to Idaho from Wisconsin. The actual laborers who unloaded and loaded (United) were pretty good. The moving coordinator was very unresponsive, at one point she didnt respond to my email for 3 business days. I was not kept up to date on anything and was always the one asking for info. The laborers that unloaded my stuff told me I should get a follow up from the moving coordinator for any claims. Thankfully I didnt have any, figured it wasnt worth the hassle for a couple of scratches. Anyways there was no follow up from the moving coordinator as well. Would not deal with them and have advised my companys HR to look into other relocation services moving forward. In this day and age you should know exactly where my stuff is, keep me updated, and respond in a timely manner.

This was our tenth move, but the first that wasnt paid for by my employer as we are retired and moved to be closer to grandkids.Schroeder Moving Systems from Appleton, WI made this a very enjoyable, and stress free move from our first contact with Holly, to Lisas home visit to assess our belonging for the move and estimating our needs, to driver Pete Zeihlkes prompt arrival at the designated time and date to load us, and consequently his prompt arrival at the designated time and date at our destination. I waited 2 months before making this review so I could cool down with how mad I was at them and make a good review. Schroeder (United Van Lines) made this move 10 times worse than it needed to be. The only good part of the move, was the movers in Green Bay, WI with Mayflower did a great job packing and were very friendly. The movers in Kernersville, NC were rude, didnt lay down any carpet mats, and werent careful with any of the items. Schroeder moving in Appleton, WI made it worse. The salesmen (Terry Wuethrich) is a liar and one I will never recommend. He not only lied about what United can do and how they can move faster than any company in the world, he bad mouthed the competition (over and over again) for how fast they could get my stuff down here because its one truck per load. He looked so pathetic when all he talked about was the competition being bad more than United being good. Then United told me they would get it there June 5th because I would be moving in then and it shouldnt be a problem. It was June 13th before getting it. They didnt know it would be here then until the 12th. Try scheduling something! I had to spend 2 weeks in a hotel because I moved 900 miles and didnt know when it would be here. The only penalty for United was I got $100. Big deal when I had two weeks expenses in a hotel.
