One cone was Melted ice cream cone the ice cream was so melted he had to put in a dish because it was dripping down the side of the cone in 2 seconds it was good but melted. The other cone was Black walnut and it had ice crystals in it and didnt taste fresh at all. ☹

My ice cream was delicious and I love all the choices. However, the music that the employees had playing was unacceptable and disgusting! Beware if youre taking your young children. It was ridiculous and I would not have stayed if the service took any longer than it did.

Went there not to long ago at 3pm I got chocolate chip, it was not labeled correctly. I got mint chip. I went with a friend and they were going to charge my friend with both our orders, but we told them we wanted to pay separately. It was a completely bad experience than my other times coming here.

Came in today (08/18/2020) at about 11:45....stood there for a solid 10 minutes...yelled “hello???” And then just walked out. Nobody came out. I tried walking in and out of the door...nothing. This is terrible. Someone could have came in and took whatever they wanted! Won’t be returning. Sad.

I was utterly disappointed to go to this Baskin Robbins to find their coolers were all filled with Kemps Ice Cream and even marked with Kemps logo. The store itself was dirty and not well kept at all. We checked to verify all signs still said Baskin Robbins, but clearly wasnt. We quickly left that store and drove all the across town to find an actual Baskin Robbins. Total disappointment in the charade.

BEWARE! This location is NOT a Baskin- Robbins! They were bought out by those whove chosen to partner with Kemps. They do NOT carry Baskin-Robbins flavors. Awful customer service & employees barely speak / understand English. After almost 15 minutes of trying to order ice cream - I gave up trying & left the store very frustrated. Opted to go the REAL Baskin-Robbins on Ballard - which is where I found out that this particular location is a Kemps store that has yet to remove the official Baskin-Robbins signage. Seriously, it was so awful, I was surprised Ashton Kutcher didnt jump out from under the counter & yell, YOUVE BEEN PUNKD!!!

Terrible experience. I normally go to the other Baskin in Appleton, but decided to give this one a second try from a prior less than average experience. On my first visit, the staff barely understood English and the ice cream was freezer burned with a strange taste. This visit was no better! There were groups of people in the store without masks on, there was no limit to the occupancy. A group of 8 younger teens came in and were not social distancing without masks. Aside from the clear disregard for health safety, the staff were wearing the masks incorrectly as well. Waffle cone bowl was not made correctly and the ice cream was freezer burnt with an old taste. Avoid this store and head to the other across town!

First time I’ve been to a Baskin and Robbins in 30 years. They no longer have the German Chocolate flavor, which is what I was hoping they’d still have. Disregarding the immeasurable disappointment over that fact, there was zero customer service and I think one of the servers might not speak English, or at least not to an acceptable standard. The ice cream I did get was good, but I’ll probably never go back. Unless they bring back the German Chocolate flavor. The Stranger Things themed flavors was pretty cool, though.

I don’t t even want to give this location (College Avenue Baskin Robbins) one star, but it won’t let me write a review until I mark a star. I was treated so disrespectfully by the manager that I am contacting the corporate office to report his behavior.I purchased a beautiful but expensive $36.99 cake for my granddaughter’s 12th birthday. The label said it was white cake with chocolate chip ice cream.After she blew out the candles, we cut the cake. It was chocolate cake with mint ice cream.The girl at the store who had helped me find the cake had been very nice. I called her to tell her about the mistake - that the label was not correct. She said she would talk to the manager. She called back two hours later and told me I had to come to the store with the cake. I asked to speak with her manager.I was shocked by the way he treated me. My phone was on speaker, so everyone in the room heard his rude, disrespectful words. No apology. No acknowledgement of the mistake. He just cut me off when I tried to talk to him.I feel sorry for the young girl who works for him. I so regret that I went to the College Avenue store. I don’t live in Appleton, and this one was closer, but I will never go there again. The staff at the Ballard Street Baskin Robbins is terrific. It is worth driving further to go there.

Havent been to this location in more than 10 years and its just as I remember, but with one key difference... the flavors are now separated so that cross-contamination with allergies is a lot harder. I was so excited to not have to worry about the nut-flavors because they were all in a separate case by themselves! It was nice to actually be able to enjoy my dessert worry-free! Thank you to the genius who came up with that idea!!!

Always a go to for a great variety of unique flavors. Clean place. And they are generous with how much ice cream youre given!

We typically go to the other one however they were busy and ran out of waffle cones so we drove to this location. My husband went in and felt that the service was a little lacking, but then the worst of it was somehow our van got locked while running and our 1 and 3 year old inside. We had to call the police and had many customers come to check on us as they were leaving as it was clear something was wrong however the staff stayed indoors never once checking on us to make sure we had help coming or even to offer to put our childrens ice cream in the freezer so it wasnt a melted mess. We will go back to the other location from here on out even if they are out of waffles!

I was seriously offended by what I saw. If I could give a NEGATIVE star I would. On June 14th I visited this location and witnessed something that with the times being what they are with the Covid scare and the Racial tension being what is is, I observed the person making the waffle cones pulling them off the waffle maker without wearing gloves along with the mask he was halfway wearing did not help matters. But the cherry on top of this was the music that was playing in the background. The song titled No Role Modelz by J Cole contained Racial slurs and vulgar language throught the song. Come on people this is a family friendly place for service and little kids were present. Hearing the N-word is just not acceptable at any time or in any use in an establishment like that. All persons that was working at that time that thinks that kind of music which by the way was not the only song that was like that, is acceptable should be fired on the spot. I will never enter that place again.

Love the different flavors you offer. Only complaint is the guy who helped us was only one in store and did not know much of what he was doing. He had his music playing loud and we had to repeat our order more than twice. Other than that the ice cream was amazing.

Me and my familys experience was horrible the person who served us was extremely rude. All I wanted was three scoops of mint chocolate chip in a cup and he couldnt go to the back and grab a new container also when I asked for a mint chocolate chip prepackaged quart. He got snippy with me and told me that they were completely out. And I know thats not true because I have been a Baskin-Robbins employee myself. Drive the extra miles and go to the other Baskin-Robbins. This gives Baskin-Robbins a bad name. because I actually proceeded to go to the other Baskin-Robbins in town and she was very nice and gave me corporates number and they will be called

Went in for a cone on my way to work, this cake cone tasted like cardboard, as if it had been out for a week, I literally could fold the cone in half without it breaking. The ice cream on top was delicious.

Dont know how to make cakes when you order them....3 times weve ordered cakes days in advance, been charged, show up to NO cake....refuse to refund money but kindly offer an old cake from the freezer. Go to Ballard rd.....they know what theyre doing unlike this pit

Like a few of the other reviews, there was only one guy working who neither said hello or goodbye and really seemed like he didnt want to be there. I work in customer service and its not that hard to to give even the bare minimum of effort but he did not. The ice cream was fine but the hot fudge sucked. I also wanted the mint ice cream and apparently there wasnt enough for a single scoop.. There had to be another one somewhere... I will just go to Paradise Island from now on. Oh AND my friend wanted some ice cream to go but he had disappeared so we had to push the door open in order to alert him to come back up...

Weve had issues with this specific location before, but this is the last straw for us.We ordered ice cream from this location. We ordered two Reeces peanut butter cup sundaes, and even paid extra for more fudge.What we got were two, two scoop BOWLS, of Reeces peanut butter ice cream, so not even in a sundae cup, with ZERO fudge, so we paid extra for nothing.On top of past experiences with employees who clearly dont care about their job and do nothing to hide it, and many more incorrect orders, I am simply fed up with this location. Go to the one on Ballard instead. Its a much nicer establishment.Update: a few weeks after this incident, after my family insisted they get ice cream from here, I ordered ice cream once again from this location. The woman picking up my order had to call me because they couldnt understand my order, which is fine, no big deal. So I had to tell them OVER THE PHONE what I wanted, and when I received my order after almost an hour and a half of waiting, they still got it wrong. I literally had to walk them through my order step by step and they still screwed it up. Unbelievable.

I love love love ice cream. If you like ice cream this is the place to go. So many choices and options for toppings. Employees are quick to serve you and explain what options are.

Its been close to 20 years since we have been to BR and I dont think I missed anything. The ice cream was pretty good and they still have 31 choices, but the waffle cone was very hard- could barely chew it- and the girls working seemed to be very disinterested in being there.

When you have workers there that do not speak English and do not know how to make things on the menu.... well I think if you qork at a job you should speak English and know how to make the things on the menu.

I went there and was amazed by all of the flavors. Although I probably could have sat there and sampled each flavor. I knew what I came for. 1 scoop of vanilla in a dish. Overall the service was pretty much what I would expect from who was employed there (mellenials). Nonetheless, I would recommend the 1 scoop vanilla in a dish.

I went last night for some ice cream and it was 9:30 and when it got there it was closed at 9:30. disapointed.

I recently ordered a custom birthday cake. I went to pick it up yesterday and they gave it away to someone else. Today, I had to spend money on Lyft to go pick it up. The Lyft was almost the price of the ice-cream cake. When I got the ice-cream cake, there was the wrong message written on it, it was lopsided and looked like it had previously melted. I feel cheated out of my moneys worth.

College Ave location was hopping yesterday. They have 4 cases for ice cream flavors and the most ices and sherbet flavors I have seen anywhere. A lower calorie frozen treat that cant be beat.

Baskin Robbins was the go-to for our birthday cakes as kids. I have tried to continue that tradition with my kids but every attempt is an absolute mess. One year for a boys birthday they gave us a completely pink cake that was supposed to be blue, which they fixed at the time and we ended up with 2 cakes- the pink one and the right one. Another year they had the wrong design altogether and my son was so massively disappointed but maturely said it was okay and we took the cake anyways. Now, we went to pick up an order and they didnt even have it but we had already been charged for it. AVOID both Appleton Baskin Robbins. These events happened between both locations. Whatever they used to be they arent anymore.

First of all, love the ice cream. Personally speaking, better product than cold stone. Thats just about where the positives end. One employee present at what is supposed to be the busiest time of the day, and she was unfriendly, unprofessional, and slow as molasses in doing everything. There ended up being three parties waiting behind me when everyone probably shouldve been served by then. On top of that, its a cramped little shop with one bathroom thats an eyesore and isnt even stocked with paper towels. Come for the good ice cream if you have about 10 minutes to wait and arent looking for atmosphere.

Horrible worst place to go they have child about the age of 8-10 working there with no gloves on that doesnt even speak English while the family is having dinner in the back room which is clearly visible smells horrible from the inside as well. Rather get ice cream or any other stuff from cold stone or McDonalds wouldnt go there if they paid me or gave it for free. Plus I mentioned if is that mold on ice cream the mom begins to say no its just ice and as soon as I walked away from that spot she picked up the container and walked away!

Baskin Robbins ran a promotion through their app but store manager refused to honor it. The store employees hadnt heard about it, presumably because he hadnt informed them, and when contacted, the managers response was unacceptable. We will not go back.

Not a great experience. The young lady working by herself seemed to be new and did not know how to prepare or find anything.

Wen to get 2 scoops, but had to use the restroom. They have a customer only restroom not a problem, well I left my punch card in my van. The lady started to yell at me for using the restroom without purchasing icecream. I told her I was getting my punch card she continued to yell and accuse me of lying.

It was a late Wednesday evening, the sun was setting, and so were my hopes as me and my 6 closest friends entered this deceivingly pleasant baskin Robbins. The awful experience began as we attempted to converse with a few of the parlor workers. They were incredibly rude and short tempered with even the slightest questioning. This poor service could have been overlooked as long as we would’ve received our ice cream in a timely fashion. Not only was the reception of this tasty treat given to us at grandpa pace, but they messed up 5/7 of our simple orders. By far the the worst experience I have ever been given. Anyways... 10/10 would recommend

Just went there and ordered non dairy coffee caramel ice cream. I don’t thibk the person working spoke English because we got plain chocolate dairy ice cream instead.Not good fir someone with dairy allergies!

I have been a customer at this location for over 20 years, I recently ordered a birthday cake as I do every year for my daughter. When I arrived to pick up my cake I was told there wasnt a cake ready. They forgot to make it!!! Really?! I asked how do you forget to make a cake? The girl simply said I dunno, they had no problem charging me for it over the phone however, she told me if I came back 2 hours later I could get a cake, or take one from the case. She was snotty and rude! By now I was very upset, so I took my refund and left. Very disappointed! I will NEVER go to there again. I went to store on Ballard road, I told the girl there what happened, she was so nice, I reordered the cake I wanted even though my daughter would not get the cake she wanted that day, the girl gave me a cake to take home for our birthday dinner at no charge! That is how you treat your customers! So I will go to the Ballard road store from now on. Each location is independently owned. New owners at the college store are awful.

Poorly run, sketchy business-Even though they open at 11 no one was at the store until 5 after. She made no apology about having us wait-Staff wanted me to wait to order my cake while she got the store ready etc since she was late-Not helpful/knowledgeable ordering the cake-The card payment system was down so after having me swipe my card 4 times and wait 5-10 min I was asked to walk down to another business to pay/get money.

Rating based on location, NOT B.R in general. Truly unbelievably disappointed. Whole story summed up with a huge warning. Simply the worst customer service, and over all exerpeience I have had in years. The young guy that works there gave me 4 different names for the manager when I showed up at the location after they charged me for a doordash order they couldn’t fill. During this situation, that same kid (male) hung up on me twice, spoke with the neighboring suite workers about the issue (all in Spanish) just to have another Spanish speaking lady randomly walk in, talk to him, then call him into the back of the store...and simply left my family there waiting for a resolution. By waiting I mean, they did not come back out until some point after we left after approx 5 mins of waiting. Unclean location, and seems to be a random “hangout” more than a legitimately run business. The Ballard rd location is the polar opposite. Avoid avoid avoid

Young adult behind counter was efficient, however after we were waited on he disappeared! Tables were not clean. Seemed as though he was the only one working that night.

Worst customer service ever. Did an online order, went to go pick it up and they were closed. Even though the hours on the door state that they are open till 10 p.m and i showed up at 8:30 p.m. Then when I called back to cancel the order they told me they wont refund my money and the only way I can get a refund is calling my bank. What a joke. Never coming back.

The guy working at the counter literally had Airpods on and was constantly using his phone while making my order. And to finish it off, he messes up my order. The guy didnt even apologize or anything. Just continued on with his phone. What a joke of place!
