Im getting married next May and I brought in 4 rings that were passed down from my parents and grandparents (with their approval, of course) and had them melted down to create a one of a kind wedding ring. I was very nervous to have them melted down and turned into something new, as each of them were very special to my family, but the team at Expert Jewelry did an amazing job at walking me through the design process, keeping me informed along the entire process, and ultimately delivered a ring that was more beautiful than I had anticipated. When melting down old gold there is usually flaws in the ring but the gentleman who does the work does an impeccable job at making sure it is as close to perfect as it can be. It looks like it is brand new! and the diamonds in the ring sparkle like I have never seen them sparkle before. I could not possibly be more happy with their customer care and their craftsmanship, and not to mention the price - it was the lowest in the area by far. I will be returning for all of my future jewelry needs and recommending them to all!

This place is amazing!!! The staff is wonderful!! I inherited my grandmothers 80 yr old wedding ring, which was in need of some repair and cleaning. I was told by several jewelers that with the age and not sure what was done to the ring (repair wise) over the years, that they were apprehensive doing it and with the sentimental value, didnt want to try. One of those jewelers recommended Expert Jewelry Repair & Design. They were confident about what to do with the ring and sure it could be done, so I left it in their expert hands. I have had my ring taken care of a few times over the years. I actually ended up going to them after the place I purchased my ring and band at failed many times to fix my ring correctly. Before bring my wedding band to Expert jewelry I had it repaired 3 times for the same issue. Each time it took almost 2 full weeks to get back. I took it to Expert Jewlery and was given a solution, and fast repair. The problem never happened again. It has been 6 years since that first repair. Since I have had them clean, appraise and add another band. They are professional, kind and fast. I will never take my ring to another place because I trust them, their work and good service is hard to get these days.

Brought in a Frozen necklace belonging to my granddaughter. Clasp was broken. They fixed it on the spot with no charge. Its hard to get good customer service these days. Was so pleased.

These folks were fantastic in repairing my watch. I was in town for business and I took my watch to get a battery replacement at another store. The store couldn’t put my watch casing back on and actually net it up a bit. Took my watch to these guys and they repaired my bent case very quickly. They did an AMAZING job fixing my wedding ring. The ring was bought at a mall jewelry store about 17 years ago and when I took it back they quoted me a cost of $250-1,000 for fixing it and they were going to send my ring across the country and 10 weeks NO THANKS!I went to Expert Jewelry Repair and was immediately impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of staff. And then bonus I got to talk to the goldsmith who actually fixed my ring!! My ring was done in about a week and looked like the day I got engaged. It brought tears to my eyes! Friendly from start to finish, experienced staff with a fantastic knowledge base. While I discussed needs and concerns the rest of the staff handled many other customers and everything from watches to necklaces to rings to bracelets were handled. I had two pinkie rings from my late grandmother that needed to be reshaped/resized and BOTH pieces could be new and are over 60 years old. This is unmatched quality and service and there is nowhere else I could imagine bringing this level of service to the table. Ive had other stores like Jared resize things and do work and there is absolutely no comparison. The work was done once and done right and I am extremely thankful.

I was devastated when the emerald fell out, and several other area jewelers quoted me a price that was double the original price of the ring itself. I had went to Expert Jewelry Repair for a second opinion and quote on my wedding ring. I had originally taken my ring to another jewelry store which was were I bought it. All I needed was a resizing and some prongs fixed and they basically told me that all my diamonds were going to fall out on the sides and tons of work needed to be done. It would take about $500 and 3 weeks to get it back. When I took into Expert they were honest and checked the ring right in front of me. They said the diamonds were fine and to fix what I needed it was only around $125. I had my ring in perfect condition back on my finger in only a week!! Thank you I will be using your services from now on!!!

This is a GREAT small business in Appleton! Tiffany and Randy are so personable and took really good care to make sure I would be happy with the service I was requesting. My rings are soldered together perfectly and resized to fit perfectly. I had a prong that he noticed needed to be fixed on my diamond and he took care of that too. The prices are very reasonable. I was happy that they had a same day service. My rings were done on time today and even a little early :). The shop is neat and clean. They also have some beautiful previously owned jewelry on sale. I wanted a 2nd band made for my wedding ring. My ring was my grandmothers, so it is quite old with unique details. I was really nervous about handing my ring over in order for the new band to be made. Tiffani put me at ease and kept me up to date on the progress. She understood what my ring meant to me. It turned out way better than I imagined. Nobody can tell which band is the original and which is the new one. Ive also taken my chain here to be fixed a few times. I cant say enough about Tiffani. Took extreme care of my ring. Between resizing due to a broken shank, they allowed me to turn in some unwanted/broken gold to go towards the repair. I showed them the unprofessional prong work from a previous jeweler and they took it upon themselves and did a full rework of them as well. I have a ring I can feel safe wearing and looks stunning! After having a custom ring made, I knew I found one gem of a store! :)Since then, Expert Jewelry has made a few custom rings and a pendant for me, and each time, Randy and Joe have done an absolutely amazing job!!! Joe went way beyond excellent service by patiently working with me while I changed the design of a ring a few times.I dont think another jewelry store would be so willing to go out of the way to make sure I had the perfect ring.They also did a fantastic job changing a stone out, as well as shortening a bracelet.In addition, the quotes are fair.I only want to do business with this jewelry store!!!! I am recently engaged and needed to get my ring properly sized. The place we purchased the ring did not have a goldsmith onsite and the ring would need to be sent away for sizing. I didnt want to part with my ring for over a week or more. We called Expert Jewelry Repair & Design. We were immediately welcomed to stop in and they would take a look at the ring and give us a price quote to size the ring. Not only was sizing the ring very reasonable, there was a goldsmith onsite. We were able to get my ring back in roughly 3 days. They also looked at my ring to ensure no diamonds were loose and all was as it should be with the ring. My advice is know whether or not your ring is tapered and request to keep the cut-out if youre downsizing. I went here to size down my ring because of all of the excellent reviews and when I picked it up, unconsciously focused on looking at the stone, not the shank. Person at counter said absolutely nothing when I dropped off and picked up the ring (hey I get it, were all busy). I wish they wouldve taken pictures, measurements prior to me leaving the ring there. Be smarter than me: look at the shank or back part of ring prior to leaving. After wearing ring for a day I realized the back part of my ring, the shank, was noticeably thinner than the rest of the ring and didnt feel as smooth as the rest of the ring. Talked with my fiancee and we thought oh maybe the thinness at the back is normal. However, doing more research on downsizing rings, the shank should have the same thickness and no indentations/roughness like the rest of the band. Decided then to take it back in to the store to discuss with the expert because it just didnt feel right; It was downsized from ~6 to ~5. I have to say, I felt pretty stupid taking the ring back in to ask more questions. After they took a look under their microscope, they also noticed quite a bit of scratches and I was made to feel it was my fault. Im all about taking ownership and I had worn it for 48 hours (minus showering and sleeping) since pickup. I do not have a manual labor job (i work at a computer all day). They offered to buff it up again to smooth it over, which was nice. The store also measured different parts of the band, which the shank now was indeed thinner than the rest of the band. I was told, your ring is tapered (no its not) and also given a meh no big deal doesnt look that noticeable type of attitude. There is an unevenness or a wave with the back of my band now. When I questioned this I was asked whether or not I get a lot of sleep at night as if i was supposed to laugh. I really felt like I had done something wrong. The store offered to replace shank part with a new section of white gold to make the entire band the same thickness, which was really nice. I didnt take them up on this because i felt disrespected. The store also said they are super busy, so could be a wait on this getting done. I wanted them to fix the thin shank and I also didnt trust them after a couple of blunt, hurtful comments. Ultimately, I left with my ring feeling like i was in the wrong for questioning the bands integrity after being resized at Expert Jewelry.

The original designer of my ring did a horrible job at polishing, making the ring look unfinished. Furthermore, the ring that I received was also slightly different compared to the online shop image. I was disappointed and torn on whether or not I wanted to return it. I decided to bring in the ring to see if Randy could help me. Turn around time was about a week and I was surprised at how good the ring looked upon picking it up! It was shiny and no scratches anywhere. He also addressed the issue of the ring not looking like the online shop image and I could not have been happier with the results! If I ever need any more jewelry repairs in the future, I will definitely be returning to this repair shop.

These guys are the real deal at a much more affordable price than the 3 other jewelers I had been to since we moved here. Randy and his team repaired some jewelry I inherited, it all looks brand new again!! Great job guys!!

Dont go here! Had my wedding band resized by them. My husband picked up my ring for me, forgot to check the ring over before he left...when he got home with it and gave me the ring (still in the clear bag they sent my ring home in) a noticed right away a stone was missing! They gave him my wedding ring with a stone missing! We could not believe it! When I went back the next day with it to talk with them about it, the lady was so rude to me and acted like it was our fault. She got really nasty when I tried to ask about what cut/clarity of a stone they would be using to repair my ring with. Sketchy place! AVOID!

I had a pearl replaced on my ring & it looks like its brand new. Very nice service & a friendly experience. Thank you!

I just opened a small jewelry repair shop in another state. I came across their web page and was excited that their was a successful shop similar to mine. So I was hoping to pick their brains a little and ask some question. To my surprise, Randy, the owner, was so rude. I tried to give him a short back story so he understood why I was asking those questions, but he just said..just get to the point, Im busy,,, so I just rushed one of the questions I had,,, that had to do with the way they do their pricelist. Randy,, the owner, said,, why dont you figure out how to run your own business,, I dont have time to deal with someone who cant even figure out how the charge their customers.....( click )....... Yes thats right,,, he just hung up the phone?That was the most upsetting phone call I have ever had. If Randy,, the owner,, would think about it,,, my call to him was a complement to him and his success he had the opportunity to do good, but choose not to... Thats to bad.. I would never represent my company in that manner.

I. Brought my engagement ring here and trusted them with it for a resize lets hope after this week its the same as when I brought it in or better I was iffy because I love my ring and didnt want to leave it from the reviews I read on here Im sure its safe and will come.back the same with all.original stones in thanks for the good customer service
