J&J Electronics did a great job for me. Wanted a projector mounted in a small room. The walls were not accessible to run HDMI cable. J&J improvised and ran the HDMI concealed so the job still looked neat and professional. I have the perfect set-up now and their price was very reasonable compared to other installers in the Fox Valley. Highly recommend.
Jim and Matthew, with J&J Electronics of Appleton, did installation work for me twice in November. They were very professional, friendly, detail oriented, efficient, and took the time to answer my questions and explain how the equipment works. In addition, they were both very patient and quite skilled at this technical work, and went above and beyond to make sure the work was completed as soon as possible. I was so impressed with their service and would highly recommend Jim and Matthew for any installation needs.
I took a JVC Speaker in because it was losing power, (a bad connection). $85 just to look at it, 2-weeks later another $55, to fix a simple broken soder.Over priced, sloppy work, and now the tuner is not working. It work when I was ask to bring in the tuner to test the speaker. Why they need the tuner to fix a bad connection on the speaker is a question. But now I have junk. DO NOT USE THEASE GUYS, ZERO STARS

My wife and I bought a used RV so I brought it to J&J Electronics to figure out the cable system. All three employees worked on trouble shooting & trying to figure out the rats nest of old cables. They were all very helpful. After 1 1/2 hours of testing and tracking the lines and input boxes around the RV, they had it diagnosed. Theyre rate for that time was extremely low. We could not have received better customer service and we highly recommend J&J Electronics for all your Electronic needs!
The staff and technicians were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen and understand my concerns. They are much more personable and truly know what they are doing, especially compared to those big box stores. I also greatly appreciated their honesty and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Stopped by to have a couple of screws put in my laptop that were missing. They repaired in just a few minutes at no charge. They were very friendly and have nice store. Will definitely go there again if I need service.

I was trying to get my lg TV repaired under warranty. J and J came out and replaced the part that LG told them to replace, issue was not fixed. I have had difficulty with Lg but not J and J who have taken several of my calls and have went out of their way to explain what the issue seems to be.In the future I will use J and J for all my electronic issues, friendly staff answering the phone and Joe the service guy was friendly, patient with me and on time.
I had such a good experience here as I brought my in my laptop to get the keyboard fixed. Only took a couple of days! Very friendly people! Highly recommend.
They dont sell electronic components but they did tell me where I could find them!👍
If you get sent here for warranty work, request somewhere else right away. Called 5 times no one would get back to me and couldnt even get past the first step. I then talked to LG and they sent me somewhere that was much closer and had way better customer service.
I had the same experience as another reviewer. J&J has had my TV (and my $85 assessment fee) for months while we are waiting for a part to ship. While the part may be on back order, or Samsung may in deed be delaying the shipment, I expect J&J to work with Samsung to find a resolution- or at least provide a real time line for delivery. Hell, I could have tracked down the part by now.
Would give 0 stars if possible. I like the idea of supporting local, smaller businesses, but not to when Im treated this way. I tried for over 3 weeks to schedule an appointment with this place, only to be hung up on and have my callbacks ignored. My issue is covered under warranty, so perhaps this is the reason that they were not quick to respond? Who knows. Terrible customer service, will go elsewhere.
My data guy had a death in the family so I called these guys on very short notice. I needed a brand new Sony 4K HDR HDTV with Sony Sound Bar wall mounted. Jim of J&J called me back promptly on Thursday night diagnosed and quoted the installation over the phone even recommending the proper wall mount. Jim and one of the original owners (Joe) installed my HDTV, wall mount, sound bar and devices (PS4 Pro, XBOX ONE S, Directv & Ultra HD Bluray) two days later on Saturday morning (no extra charge for weekend work).Meticulous professional installation with cordial down to Earth dialogue put me at ease from the jump that I was in good hands. My HDTV is spot on level and secure. Handled my HDTV and all of my devices with kid gloves including cleaning the HDTV screen at the end of the install - thank you! I called Jim back same day to quote and schedule him returning to my house the following Tuesday to disassemble the install and install my new Monoprice HDMI cables that would be in from Amazon on Tuesday. Jim returned Wednesday and the install was the same as before - smooth sailing. These guys are reasonably priced with excellent installation and customer service!!

Brought a piece in to have repaired in Mid-December and am still waiting for a part to ship 6 months later. Tons of unfulfilled promises. Sometimes I need to talk to 3 different people who just pick up the phone like they have no idea what Im calling about. Terrible customer service. This was the first time I tried them. Never again.
Bought several Electronic items from J&Js and have never had any issues. Anything from a TV to a custom built PC, always taken care of no matter what i wanted.

I would give these guys negative stars if I could. LG sent a service request to them early October. They do not answer calls or emails for myself or LG after requesting information. They never came to my house to even look at the TV. After going back and forth with LG they sent my request elsewhere and now my TV is being looked at.If you are given these guys as a service center ask to go ANYWHERE else.
Very polite and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have an electronic device repaired.

Love this place, my cell phone broke and no other location was willing to help me, the guys here listened to me explain my problems and came up with a solution and got my phone working right away. they also got me a discount on my plan that is saving me money each month, when i become eligable to upgrade i will be returning to them for sure!!!
Our $700 tv broke one month after its warranty expired so we brought it to J&J. They charged us $85 just to look at the television and, not wanting to spend more than the tv is worth to repair it, we asked them to call us back with an estimate before making any repairs to allow us to decide whether to proceed or not.They never called us back initially and we had to call them to ask if the inspection was complete. They said it was and that the cost to fix it would be at least around $300 ON TOP of the $85 we already gave them.Deciding it wasnt worth it we asked if we could come pick the tv up now. J&J said we could even though they were ABNORMALLY insistent on recycling it themselves. When we went to retrieve the television it was still in pieces despite the fact that they said we could come get it and we had to leave and return after an hour to pick it up.Throughout the entire experience, not a single one of J&Js employees could be deemed amiable, but their attitude switched to outright rudeness when they discovered that we wouldnt let them recycle the tv for us.The only thing J&J cares about is PROFIT. They were, no doubt, angry that they couldnt repair the tv and sell it themselves and, though it may be unfounded, we have suspicions that they were stripping the tv after they learned we wouldnt let them repair or keep it, hence why it wasnt ready to be picked up even though they said it would be previous to us arriving.We will never ever ever go to J&Js Electronics ever again and we hope people will read this review and think twice before taking the risk of being scammed by these people.
We brought an instrument cluster in over 3 months ago to have the light bulbs replaced. Ive called several times to check on the progress and keep getting empty promises about when it will be finished. Ive left AT LEAST 15 messages begging for a call back and not once have they returned a call. I would strongly urge my worst enemy to go elsewhere, terrible, terrible customer service.
Same as some of the others, they had my equipment for over a year then finally told me it cant be fixed. that was the third time I brought the same piece to them. I should have known better

Had a reel unit in for repair for over 2 years. Got back last Thanksgiving unit worked for 15 minutes then failed went back for another year. Just got back after 2 years in the shop and still not working correctly. Will never go back.
