Im tired of these businesses blaming the pandemic for their failure. Ive had a standing order for 10 pounds of ground meat every two weeks with Cedar Creek for 3 years. At least 80% of the time the order wasnt done on time and I would only find that out after calling them for a status. I would then have to buy enough to get by for a few days from somewhere else and call again to make sure my order was ready before driving down there. They never once called to let me know my order was done as I requested. I complained about this numerous times to management and was always reassured it wouldnt happen again.I called yesterday to see if they would have my order before they close the doors and had to leave a message. No one has called me back. Poor service like this is whats closing these shops. Not the pandemic.

Good selection of hand cut meats and locally made sausages. Also they have homemade hot beef, polled pork, Spanish Hamburger, baked beans and other items. They also butcher farm animals and deer in season. Good food and good service.

I have always been pleased with the products and service at Cedar Creek. Today, I was a little disappointed, not in the product or the service (the girl serving me was very sweet), but in the way my prosciutto was packaged. It was sliced perfectly, however, unlike other deli meats, it should be arranged in a single layer between sheets of deli paper to keep it from sticking and ripping to itself. I tried to explain this to my server, but she obviously did not understand. It became busy, so I didnt bother to explain again and instead took the pile home and repackaged it myself. I know prosciutto is not very popular around here; however, if a deli/meat market carries it, they should be aware of how to package it. Perhaps management should look into this and provide the proper training. This will not inhibit me from supporting Cedar Creek, but perhaps Ill continue making the trip to Tenutas Delicatessen in Kenosha to purchase our prosciutto. It was worth a try 👍

Food here was fantastic, all my life I’ve been coming to cedar creek for jerky and meat and it sure is sad to see it go.

Love their steaks. Never have had a bad cut of meat from them. I appreciate their service too. Im a major foodie so a lot of time I like to look before making my decisions. Their staff is always knowledgeable in their products and willing to help. Love their brat frys too when we can take part.

This is for the Butcher. Walked in at 5:30 and asked for some prime rib. They close at 6pm. There were several other customers in the store and more walked in after me. I was told that I should have called because they just cleaned and sanitized all the equipment. She asked how many pounds-I said I don’t know-4 or 5 and she said -well which is it?? Then she went on talking about how this is their busiest season with all the venison and the holiday. If you are open until six you should accommodate your customers until closing time and not make them feel bad for spending over 100.00 in your establishment.5 stars for meat***UPDATE****We went in the next day and picked up the gift card. Thank you so very much for responding. We will definitely be back!!!

We brought our deer in for processing in June and we were asked to make a down payment. We were told since it wasnt the busy season for deer, that it shouldnt take too long for processing. Finally after being told different things each time we called to find out where the order was, we were able to pick it up in September. When the order was picked up we were overcharged because they never took into consideration our original down payment. We didnt catch this right away. We ended up having to go back to pick up some of the overcharged amount but we were told that the amount on our receipt that we were given upon pick up did not include the proper weight so the refund was less than we anticipated. We still do not feel as though we were properly charged and all around the whole experience left us with a feeling of uncertainty. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star was because the hot sticks and jerky were good. The venison hot dogs were tough but had good flavor.

Dropped off some venison roasts to make into beef jerky. The end product is amazing! Entire family loves it. Will have to hide some for myself.🙂

Its a nice clean place and I enjoy stopping in now and then - especially for the smoked pig ears after the dog park. Over the last year Ive started to make my own beef jerky and call ahead because I dont expect to have the cut sliced on the spot. I called ahead during normal business hours in November and left a message - never heard back. I called again in mid July during normal business hours and selected the meat dept extension and did not get through to a real person, after trying 4 different times over the course of 3 hours. The last call I left a voicemail with the request of what I wanted and my name and number to reach me back - never got a response. I really do like this place but I wont be stopping in anytime soon.

I brought my buck in On October 25, 2020. On November 17 they told me it was complete. We went to pick it up and all that was done was hotdogs and the roasts and tenderloins were cut out. We asked where our sausage was and they were confused. They said we shouldn’t of picked up yet. Because our order was not complete. Every week after we’ve called and asked where Our meat is and we keep getting told different stories stories. We tried the hotdogs and they are like rubber like they gave us old meat. Last week they said they were just waiting for the sausage now they’re saying we still have three more weeks they have no idea where our order is!!!!

Their brat fry Friday’s are great, they always have a special brat of the week. If you have a chance to get in on the Mac N Cheese brat, it’s heavenly! I’ve had venison processed here and their venison hotdogs are the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

They did a wonderful job processing my deer meat into delicious sausage. Friendly staff and very clean business. Best place I found in 30 years. They can count on my business for years to come.

Good variety of food, if ur having a gathering they can supply almost anything. Salads,meat products,a wide variety of cheeses. Very friendly employees. I also met boss he is very nice.

We had a brat for 2.00...there is a special brat every week..lots of people..not easy to park some weeks..we like to take our own chairs there and sit under the trees..in the shade. Lots of people stop on thier lunch hours..really good

Go here if you do not want to receive your venison backstrap meat back. I brought my deer here two years in a row and both times they stated the backstraps were damaged, so I did not receive the meat after processing. After sharing my experience with some hunting friends, it turns out they too were told the same and did not receive their backstrap meat. Besides that, their snacks sticks are good.

I go to the brat fries quite often with two of my grandkids who also look forward to them. My 8 year old grandson asked me about a month before school got out when the brat fries were gonna start. He always gets 2 hamburgers when we go there. I have a sister that lives in the south and whenever shes in our area on a Friday during the summer, this is a big highlight of her trip.

When in bought their skinless hot dogs got home relized they were bad with green mold talk with the manger and owner very rude people said the air made them green and at first the owner refused my money back until i said i would be callong the health dept witch i did and they are investigating the market
