Rick the owner and employees at Anchor Marine are top notch. We ended up in a bind in early June after having our boat at a different service place. The other business had done a tune up on our Yamaha outboard, and after they competed it they told us they couldnt get it to run and we needed to pick it up and take it somewhere else. At that point we were scrambling to find a place that could fix it before our family vacation. I called Rick and had a conversation with him about our situation. He didnt hesitate and got the boat in and not only fixed the motor on time for our vacation, but also replaced the rotted transom!! Cant not say enough good things about Anchor Marine, and would highly recommend!

Well to start off, Anchor Marine has been the most helpful dealership I have ever dealt with. 7 years ago my journey had started with Anchor when I was in the market for a used boat. The staff was excellent to deal with. They were knowledgeable and it was a relaxing experience. Although I didn’t buy that used boat from them that summer, the following spring I was in the market for a new boat. I had returned to Anchor and the staff had remembered me from the year prior. I had purchased a brand new skeeter. Anchor had pointed me in the right direction with financing. Rick, Greg, Nick, and the entire staff were helpful year in and year out. As life has brought me out of Wisconsin, I had put my Skeeter on consignment with Anchor. Anchor took all the problems of selling out of the situation and they now have made another individual happy. Thanks for all the memories over the years Anchor Marine. To the new owner of a used WX2060, I hope you have as good of luck as I have had over the years.

WOW!!! What more can be said... I have dealt with 3-4 Skeeter dealers from WI to GA. This was by far the best customer service I have seen in the marine world. I operate multiple auto dealerships and I hope to share this experience with my own employees to help ourselves improve. I was in a serious time crunch, Electrical panel seemed to fail. Rick got me in right away as I was heading for a major tournament in LA in a week. I was very concerned to get the part in time, but due to the great relationship they obviously have with the factory we got the part over nighted and installed. They also fixed another concern with my Yamaha SHO that another dealer couldnt figure out. All I know is this is worth the 1.5 hour drive for all my future needs both service and sales, cant wait to get my next boat from them!!! I am Very Happy with the quality of work and the price they charged to fix my Yamaha motor on my Ranger boat. I had my boat at 3 different places and they told me that the motor needed the power head to be replaced. Rick and his team took my boat in and did a OUTSTANDING JOB, it runs perfect !!! We paid to have a lack of power from the motor service completed. All new wires were installed. The service did not work. We Returned with the same concern this time they identified corrosion on the battery wire connection. The First bill was over a thousand dollars. Now they want to charge for new battery, connection wires and labor.... very poor knowledge on identifying a problem and ownership lacks customer service skills... I will be notifying Minnkota in hopes they find a new service center.After our first posting I received a call from Anchor Marine to discuss my dissatisfaction. Both parties came to a better understanding of this required repair of a corroded fuse that cause a battery to fail. The corrosion on the fuses should have been part of the first repair. Anchor Marine has now reimbursed 100 percent of what was charged for the new batter.

They were quick to get me in during the busy season and were very thorough with fixing my trolling motor. The texture easy to get a hold of and responsive. Ill definitely be taking my equipment there in the future.

Unsure what was wrong with my boat. I’ve changed the water pump, fuel filter, air filter, all the fluids. I added fuel additives. The boat was slowly loosing the take off power. All summer I’ve been trying to troubleshoot issues, you know the “YouTube mechanic”, that was me.Hesitated bringing the boat anywhere, worries they were going to rob me blind. I finally had enough and brought it into anchor marine. In the past I have bought oils, bilge pumps, winterizing kits, and miscellaneous other parts for the boat and they have always treated me well. Answered questions and were always willing to give advice.Tonight was my test run with the boat, and I gotta say I couldn’t be happier. The boat runs amazing. The cost was lower than I anticipated, and the turnaround was quick. I only wish I would have brought it to them sooner. Looking forward to the rest of the summer.

Getting ready for the spring fishing season, I decided to purchase a new Minn Kota Ultrex, while installing the unit I wasn’t going to use the universal transducer so I took the top cover off to remove the connection when I noticed the power wire had been crushed in the manufacturing process. I wasn’t very happy with Minn Kota to say the least. I reached out to Minn Kota and was told everything would be covered under warranty, granted I didn’t want to take in a new motor for warranty service already, Minn Kota pointed me to Anchor Marine. I spoke with Rick and told him my situation. He gave me a week turnaround time and did what he could to get me back fishing. Rick was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I purchased my Skeeter 2190 from the guys at Anchor and they have been awesome to work with. They are experts on Skeeter & Yamaha products and service is timely and a value. They stand behind their products and know how to modify your boat to fit your fishing style. They added removable downriggers and custom electronics. Looks like they were installed by the factory. They are big enough to get the job done but they still remember who you are and treat you like a friend before, during and after the sale.

I took my boat to anchor marine last year for a lower unit repair. they had a used lower unit on hand. they charged me a fair price for the unit and installed it quickly. The boat then had a terrible leak. The owner rick met me at the launch, found the leak, took credit for the leak, and fixed it at no cost. nice to see they stand behind there work. I am a fan of anchor marine.

I have never written a review anywhere whether good or bad but I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Anchor Marine today. Their knowledge on Yamaha and Mercury outboards saved me hundreds of dollars in repairs. I didnt order anything or deal with anyone in person but over the phone they were extremely knowledgable. I contacted them a few days after noticing they had a boat for sale that i was interested in. I spoke with Chris whom gave me some information but advised they were too busy to pu thte boat on the water for me until the following week. He asked for me to put $1,000 to hold the boat. When asked about my deposit and what happened if the boat didnt meet what it was portrayed to be, he advised i was out the money so nonethless being 3 hrs away i didnt put down the deposit. After several emails and constant contact with them having all my information I set up an appointment on Monday July 2, 2012 to test the boat on Thursday July 5, 2012. I advised Chris that i would be taking the boat as long as everything ran great on the water. Well on July 3rd, i check my email to find out that they accepted another deposit and the boat wasnt available anymore. I contacted Chris and his manager only to be lied to several times over. Once about the boat, my deposit, and possible warranties. I told both i understand business but just thought that with my constant contact, pretty much daily, and the scheduled ride that they would at least give me that courtesy since i had been willing to go up there the whole previous week but they were too busy. Moral to story is that they lied on several occasions and then hung up the phone and were very impersonable. I do not recommend them at all.
