This is a bar that will sell bottles of liquor, not a liquor store. The bourbon prices I asked about were in the range of double the secondary market. I cant blame them, someone will probably pay it- or if not they can crack the bottle and charge 8x retail for single pours.I might have even stayed for a pour if it wasnt shoulder to shoulder at 8pm on a weeknight during a pandemic.

Asked about the price of whiskey and after hearing, I mentioned it was 30 dollars more than I could get in colorado. I was told to go back to Colorado. Business must be good to kick customers out of your store. Ironically, I was going to buy until the response. More ironically, I was just at Festival and the same whiskey was 30 dollars less than his store. Good luck charging folks double for same stuff!

Beer is pricey but they have a $3 selection and one of a kind atmosphere.

That place is cool. The decor is cool, the music is cool. The staff or very interesting to get to know. If it were just about the wine the Id say that the prices were a little high however, I feel as though part of Tandems allure is its ambiance and thats makes it worth it. Lastly, if its wine your looking for they have a very wide selection. If your not looking for wine, t they have other selections, such as beer and liquor, but the selection amongst those isnt as extensive at the wine selection.

I am currently at Tandem and am enjoying my experience so much that I had to give 5 stars right away! The aesthetic is wonderful and our server Nellie has been very welcoming. I wish Tandem was in my home town so I could come every day! So happy we stopped in!

I went for the first time with a group of co-workers yesterday and had such a fantastic time. The atmosphere is so unique and quite relaxing. Awesome selection of wine. I look forward to going again soon!

What a neat spot to try some great wines! Also - Nellie is an absolute gem! She was amazing and incredibly helpful in making suggestions that were catered to what I was looking for; her wine-expertise honestly saved my Christmas dinner! I’m not always great at describing what I’m looking for, especially with wine. Thanks for a great experience!!

Such an amazing place with amazing people. Stopped in for some wine and a cheese board, Maddie and Nellie were so so so nice!!! Both of them took time to chat with us and were so genuine!!! Highly recommend this place, will not disappoint!!

Really lovely place! Recently moved here after living on the east coast and I was a little confused to see the wait staff not wearing masks. Not sure what that’s about... just different from what I’m used to I suppose.

A friend wanted to go somewhere and talk. I do not like loud noise places and going out to bars. He recommend trying Tandem. I was very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is rustic and very comfortable. The ladies were very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Looking for a place just to chill and relax....this is definitely a great place!

My boyfriend and I have tried multiple times to go here. Every time, we do our research before hand. We check google and their Facebook page to check the hours and what not. Every time we get there they are closed. Most recently we tried to go last Friday, I did the typical research and when we arrived at 7:50 they were closed. On a Friday night although online they said they were open till 9. Overall I am just baffled that they don’t update their online platforms. I have been looking forward to going here since I moved to Appleton in August because of how cute it is set up is and how consistently busy it looked whenever I’d drive home from work. Sad to say we have officially given up on supporting this business.

This is my go to place when I’m looking to try something new and unique or just want a drink in a relaxing environment! George the owner is a great guy and is very helpful and has opened my beer tastes to things I otherwise wouldn’t have considered. I love the chill lounge in the back where you can enjoy a drink and some good conversation.

I didnt buy any bottles because I couldnt afford them, but I did try some at their bar! I had a sip of a beer that was fantastic and a gin and tonic of sorts. It was phenomenal! It has Botanical gin and elderflower tonic. Its the best gin and tonic Ive ever had and probably will every have. The staff are exceptionally friendly. They will spend time with you at the bar and drink with you. If I lived in the area, Id frequent this store.

The environment is amazing. Wine and beer assortment is outstanding. George the owner is very friendly and of course being knowledgeable. Glad we have a great wine bar here. I will be back and bring people.

This place seems like its maybe trying too hard.They dont have much in the way of food -- primarily just a charcuterie board. It was good, but overpriced, like the beers and wines.They have specials, but it felt like the bartender was just making them up on the spot, and theres no real communication or direction if youre unfamiliar with the place.The atmosphere is like a redecorated warehouse, with repurposed art and furniture scattered about. Its neat and some version of stylish, but also an employee had to move a literal spare door off the beer cooler so someone could get themselves a beer.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable but unfortunately overcharged me substantially on a bottle of wine. I try to buy local with everything I can. Paid $24 for a bottle that all other local vendors sell for $14. Shame on me for not doing more research but shame on them for gouging a customer.

We came to Tandem for my sisters bachelorette party. The staff was incredible. George was wonderful to work with. Very accommodating and welcoming. We had a fantastic time. Id highly recommend this place!

Traveling and happened to select this location in hopes of selecting a fine wine. It can be hard to enjoy wine while traveling but Tandem provided me with a great selection, excellent customer service and everything needed to relax and unwind after a day of driving through corn fields. Highly recommend.

The staff is helpful and friendly. They allow you to sample wines if your thinking about buying a case or just to sample.

I went to this store trying to support a local business. I was surprised to get absolutely no assistance from the one person working in the store, not even a hello.... even though I had spent about 10 minutes looking through the whiskey and wine..... There was also a wine distributor in the store that said nothing. So - I walked out buying nothing and found another store down the road that was more than willing to assist.

Was here with a bachelorette party and they provided amazing service! The bartender was very helpful in choosing my wine flight and several other members of our party. The charcuterie plate was amazing! Will definitely be back! Very cool atmosphere and many amazing wines to try.

Great selection of wine (maybe best in Appleton) and one if the better craft beer selections (certainly some things you wont find at the other shops). The staff is very friendly and most very knowledgeable about the wines.

Excellet Place to visit, Great great craft beers, Will definitely go back again. 1st time being in Wisconsin starting to really like it its a pre free pretty place. The people here are wonderful ledgers does nasus can be in and welcome to you just like her family.

Prices are regularly more expensive than any other liquor store. The variety makes up for this, but only just. Id look elsewhere for booze and brews, and resort to Georges if and only if I couldnt find what I wanted in other stores.

Great selection with a staff who knows what their talking about. If your looking for that special bottle for someone, here is the place to go.

They need to figure out pricing. They used to be the only place to get Brewing Project. Now lots of places get it. Nice looking store, just to expensive.

Prices missing from most products, over priced compared to other local stores. Dont go here for IPAs if you value freshness, most are several months old. Was not impressed with this store at all.
