Had an oil change scheduled. They didn’t even get to my car until an hour later (I get notifications when my car is in use via an app). After two hours I called to check the status of my vehicle but the shop was too busy to answer and was asked if I wanted to leave a voicemail with someone…I was tracking in the app and they did not update it because after three hours I finally went in only to find out my car was done and they didn’t bother to text/call or update the tracking link. I had issues with the body shop also after needing my bumper fixed. Not impressed with Bergstroms service at all and haven’t had my vehicle for a year yet.

I had to take my car in to the Hyundai service center for an oil change and new brakes, but turned out there were a few other problems that needed to be taken care of as well! Katie was my service manager and she did the most amazing job communicating my cars issues to me and and helping me talk through solutions. Even though it did take longer than I originally expected I’m so great full that I can feel safe and comfortable driving my car! Thank you Katie for the complete transparency throughout the process and help getting my car back safely driving on the road!

I was extremely disappointed with my last two experiences at the repair shop. I brought my car in earlier this month for an oil change and alignment. As I was pulling out of the dealership I immediately realized that my brake light was burnt out. I thought that was odd because they are supposed to check my lights as part of the free inspection but I figured it was no big deal because I had just left so I turned right around and went back to have it changed. I was told that there was no one there to change it and sent on my way. I don’t understand how they couldn’t spare a single person for the five minutes that it would have taken to fix it. I was more than willing to pay for it but I obviously wanted it fixed right away so I was forced to stop somewhere else on my way home. If that wasn’t irritating enough, it seemed to me that the alignment had not worked either. They had made a handwritten note on my receipt that a part(did not specify which part) was broken but that they were able to complete the alignment nonetheless. Because the car was still pulling to the left, I made another appointment to have the alignment checked. I went yesterday and after having my vehicle for a couple of hours I was told that it was ready. When I went to pick it up, I was told that due to the broken piece there was nothing that they could do to fix the alignment. She told me that I would need to take it to the body shop to be repaired. She sent me a picture of the broken piece but didn’t give me any other information and sent me on my way again. I am extremely frustrated now. First of all, why did they perform the alignment if they knew that it wouldn’t work? Second of all, when I bring my car to get fixed, my expectation is that it will be fixed. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have someone from the body shop at least give me an estimate for the parts and labor and set up an appointment. The reason that I always go to the dealership is because I have always trusted them to be the most knowledgeable and trustworthy. However, from my last experience, it is extremely obvious that that is no longer the case. Not only did they completely waste my time and money but I am now still driving a vehicle that is most likely unsafe on the road and I am forced to go somewhere else to fix this problem and all future problems.

The story is a bit more involved, but the general gist is this: I had a burned out light the day after an oil change. Understanding my frustration, and the value of my time, Joe offered to have their folks pick up my vehicle at my home, do the repair, and then return it to me. Within a few hours, my car was back, and I was delighted. With 5 kids still at home, I was so NOT excited to spend an afternoon dealing with a burned out bulb. I was treated with respect, and my concerns were met with a level of service that exceeded my expectations. This is my first Hyundai, but it will not be my last. The people make all the difference when it comes to customer satisfaction, and I am one very satisfied customer.

My experience with Katie V. from the Hyundai service department was nothing short of fantastic customer service. She was very helpful and flexible working through phone, text message - which made it easy to get the work needed on my car finished up in an expedited manner. She kept me up to date as the work was being completed and offered alternatives to ensure I was a satisfied customer.It is customer service like that, that will keep me coming back.The free loaner car was a Godsend to allow me to go to work while I waited for my car. Plus, I love getting into loaner cars because it reminds me just how nice my car really is and makes me never want to shop for another vehicle.

My wife and I have been loyal Bergstrom customers for years. This last week we received the worst possible attempt experience to purchase a 2020 Hyundai PalisadeLast Saturday I found a 2020 Palisade online at Bergstrom Hyundai of Appleton. I went to look at the vehicle and found it currently being used as the managers demo vehicle which was ok since the price was right. The vehicle had everything we were looking for.Later that afternoon I brought my wife back to the dealership to take the vehicle for a test drive. The vehicle already had 700 miles on it but again that was ok since the price was right. Several scratches were also found on the inside of the vehicle but we were told they would be fixed. We were told with a $500 deposit check written out they could consider the vehicle sold until we could come back in to finance since we had company over and did not want to keep them waiting. Prior to us leaving our salesman stated the managed found the vehicle was actually coming up a higher price than what was advertised on line. The salesman stated they would get it all worked out prior to us returning on Tuesday evening.We did not hear anything back from them Saturday or Sunday (since closed on Sunday. Mid Monday morning I looked back online at the vehicle. The vehicle was now showing a price increase of roughly $1500. I immediately called the dealership and asked to speak with the manager knowing everything would go through him anyway. He seamed to not want to talk and just transferred me to our salesman who did not answer and was told he would call back in 5 minutes. He never called back. I called 3 more times that day and left a voice messaged to hear nothing.My wife got into contact with them Tuesday and was told there was nothing they could do and the vehicle price was going to be the higher price. Not sure how that is possible when a check was written out when the vehicle was a lower price. They would not budge on trade price either to try and make us feel better about the situation. We did not feel as though they wanted our business. They even stated they thought we would go elsewhere due to the situation. My wife loved the car and tried anything to get it but we just did not feel good about giving Bergstrom Hyundai our business. Bergstrom prides themselves on customer service but we felt as though it was terrible here. At least we were told they would shred the deposit check and we would not be charged our deposit.In the end we purchased from a different dealership and got a 2021 Palisade with 16 miles on it and more features for a few hundred dollars more and were treated much better. We will never buy from Bergstrom again after this mess.

Mike at service was awesome. He seemed genuine about taking care of the customer. They found warranty repairs that needed to be completed by another Bergstrom dealership. He made sure I was setup with a rental when the other place couldnt provide one and that I was aware of everything they missed. Clearly I was upset with the other dealership but this place was a silver lining in it. Will definitely bring the car back here for future needs.

The process of buying a car was easy.However, we have been short of begging someone to try to help set up features in the car. With social distancing I get it an issue, but the salesman hasnt taken any time to try to help. I have been passed along from person to person.Day 5 with car, no help given.Tip: Make sure you specifically get everything set up before you leave or it might not ever happen.

I did have a challenge with communication as it took a half hour to get an update on the status of my car but other than that, I was pleased with my experience. Side note: I used their shuttle service and had the friendliest driver!

I had purchased a brand-new Sonata from Bergstrom not too long after they took it over. The service was terrible. On principle, I dont think a customer has to pay a diagnostic fee when the cost of the repair is so high and if it was wrong they dont refund. You just get it to pay again. I also dont understand how it costs so much (when you can purchase similar technologies on your own for a fraction of the cost). Then, a few years ago the cars engine broke down. They told me that it was going to cost $6K for a new engine. Brought it to another dealership and found out it was from a recall and Hyundai replaced the engine at no charge. Kind of a sham. I also feel, as a women, that I was never treated as the same as my spouse. Just how I felt. Had a similar interaction at Chevy in Neenah and in Oshkosh. Thats why I copied and pasted. You are not going to find me in your system because I dont like how you treat me and make me feel. This post is a warning for others not for you. Just be careful when dealing with them.

Our overall experience was terrible from the start. It began with the vehicle being listed on their own website incorrectly to then dealing with a very inexperienced and untrained salesperson. We made a verbal agreement by phone to purchase a used vehicle on Saturday, the day after test driving it, and already had our own loan to finance it. On Monday our bank and insurance were ready to go but the dealer could not locate the vehicle title so we were told we needed to wait 1-1.5 weeks for them to receive a new title. They would only hold the vehicle during that time if we put money down so we authorized a debit phone transaction to hold it. On Tuesday we received a call that they had sold the vehicle to someone else. They never charged our downpayment and they sold it without a title. Price was not the issue because the cannot negotiate prices. The whole experience has been a total joke and the complete opposite of their fast and easy experience promise. Terrible customer service. Do not buy a vehicle here!!!

We have purchased 3 cars through Bergstrom Victory Lane and have had impeccable service each time. Both of our previous vehicles were used and this was our first new vehicle with Bergstrom. Our sales person was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had told him what we wanted and he pulled up with the exact car that met our criteria! 2015 Nissan Pathfinder with the exact colors and all the extras! He really listened!!! His knowledge of the vehicle sealed the deal! I was in a car accident with my previous car and since Bergstrom is one of the preferred body shops with my insurance they took my damaged vehicle on trade, handled it through my insurance and I walked out with a new car! What a wonderful experience! I have told my family and friends what an incredible dealership this is! Thank you for making my car buying experiences pleasant ones and not stressful ones!

Best customer service I have experienced. John Vang is very courteous and well versed in explaining the maintenance aspect of each visit. The feedback he provides is easy to understand and very helpful. I have had my vehicle in several times for major repairs and John is my Go To Guy for service writing. I have even gone so far as to praise John to the Bergstrom Hyundai GM after my last visit where John saved me considerable money in the way my vehicle was repaired. John is the best.

My wife and I were looking to purchase a Palisade and contacted sales for a test drive. We set up a time with Eli and were not greated onsite for more than 10 mins. Finally took one for a test drive and determined the color/trim we wanted. We discussed it with sales when we returned only to find out that sales was not aware of the Hyundai specials or inventory onsite. Left without finalizing a deal and sales emailed us later to say that the color we wanted was not manufactured by Hyundai even though they had two in that color onsite. Not impressed by the customer service or brand knowledge from this location. Took our purchase to another dealer.

Joe De Bruin was extraordinarily helpful, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I greatly appreciated his smile, energy, enthusiasm, communication, and attention to detail. Car repairs can be a very stressful experience and Joe was fantastic in easing this stress. My car sounds like new again (relatively speaking anyway!!!) and I really appreciated that Joe was able to prioritize what needed to be repaired right now and what could be postponed for a bit in the future. The driver that took me to work and then picked me up from work to return to Bergstrom was also very friendly and a safe driver. Had an oil change and asked them to look into why my fob was no longer unlocking the doors. Staff took a look at the fob (its 15 years old). They replaced the battery for free. They did say that its possible the contacts may be wearing out. But so far, the battery replacement has done the trick. :)

$300 + $90 programming (even if it doesnt take) on Hyundai key fobs that were broke since I bought the car new. Ditto on faulty door locks (replaced 2x free--or maybe 3x--but still dont work); John @ Bergstrom is putting a quote together for another replacement. I bought new to avoid these expensive problems!!!Update: They called Hyundai (after a lot of persuasion from me) & got approval to replace door locks one more time under warranty. That was 2 months ago and they are still working!--I think--after buying it new 3 years ago--we finally have it solved! (Previous times locks stopped working just a few days after being replaced). Apparently there was a wiring issue/ short beyond the door on the a-pillar. Thank-you Bergstrom for finally getting to the bottom of this! (The key fobs I wound up getting replaced elsewhere).

I would give zero stars if I could. (Note: this will be lengthy but I think its worth the read) First off, I am not sure what sort of process they have here, but they print off a sheet and ask you 20 questions about what you want in a car. There is a car lot out front, I know what I am looking for. After test driving an Elantra I asked would sort of trade-in I could get. They came back with half of what I could get elsewhere. I said I didnt like the trade-in, but I would think about it. Thinking I could go, the salesmen said he wanted to bring someone else over.The guy, I think his name was Jake, came strolling in and asked what the issue was. I said I couldnt trade-in my car for that little and he goes on to basically insult me for what I want and said I would only get $1,600 max. Then he decides to waste more of my time by cramming leasing down my throat and saying that buying a car is the worst financial decision you can make, and I do this for a living and I know what Im talking about. Well he didnt know what he was talking because he didnt even mention that when you lease you have mileage restrictions. When asked what I was looking for I said something that has the 0% APR (as seen on the website) they didnt even acknowledge that. They asked what my max for lowest monthly payment was for financing and I said $200, Jake proceeded to insult me once again saying I would never get a brand new car for that price. Then he says, I have a big selection of used cars I could get you into. Im here trying to trade-in my used car, why would I want another one?Then comes the next few days after. I received constant text messages and calls about my thoughts on leasing and the car. I texted back saying I couldnt do that trade-in and I could get $3,600 elsewhere and that I was sorry we couldnt do business. That somehow came across as playing hard to get because I got more texts about I could match their bottom line sale price. The bottom line sale price wasnt the issue, it was the trade-in, something I had to reiterate for some reason even though I said it from the beginning. Needless to say I went to another dealership, bought brand new car and my monthly payments are less than $150 a month, even though I was told Id NEVER get a brand new car for even $200. I will never buy a car from this dealership as long as I live. Worst car buying experience Ive ever had.

I have to say, the idea of buying a car was anxiety-inducing. I was half-expecting Blake (Alec Baldwin) from Glengarry Glen Ross - ABC, steak knives, coffee is for closers, etc etc... However, instead of Blake, I got Dave from Bergstrom Hyundai. My partner and I had been shopping for cars for about a week, as our van was on its last leg (or rather, borrowed time). I hate being pressured, I hate big financial decisions, and I hate feeling like I am just a source of someones commission. We had been to some other local dealerships looking at used vehicles, but my partner suggested we look at a new dealership, as there were some good, affordable options on the market - I thought it was just wishful thinking, and I would get excited over options that were far out of reach. However, I gave in, and we went to the dealership just to look. We were approached by Dave, but originally declined his help - I hate feeling pressured (see above), and I didnt want to waste his time if I wasnt able to be a serious buyer. After looking, we realized that the 2019 Sonatas were in our pricing, although we had only been considering used vehicles previously. We went back the next day to drive one, again being met by Dave. He was very attentive to ask what we were looking for and made us feel comfortable - although Dave wanted to sell us a car, I didnt feel like I was being sold to - there is a big difference between those things. Dave gave us a great overview of the cars features before having me take it for a test drive - when I got back, we told Dave that we needed to think about it, but that we would probably be back the following day. Well, we went back - and we bought the car. Dave was friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and honest. Those are not qualities I would typically associate with someone in sales, but Dave exhibits them all. I cannot vouch for the other guys that work there - but I can vouch for Dave, and Dave does his job extremely well. The dealership will come highly recommended by me to anyone looking to purchase a new car.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and the online appointment setting process. I set an appointment several days ahead of time and received a confirmation notice but no one could find that I had set an appointment with in their system. Technician did not listen to me when I stated multiple times what I was there to have serviced. Tried charging me just to figure out what the issues were when I know I need to have my brakes and rotors replaced. I ended up leaving before they could even touch my car.

I had my 2013 Santa Fe in for regular service and oil change. While at work waiting for it to be completed I got an e-mail about being pre-approved for a new car and the deals for the June 3000. I had zero intention of getting a new car, as mine was still great. But the deal was good and put me in a 2017 for about the same price as I was paying for my 2013 every month so why not? This is now my 4th Hyundai since 2003 and still very happy.Edit: Two years later still beyond happy with this dealership and my sales guy Rodney. All my services have been timely and when I bought out my lease early, they made the process easy and really made me feel like a valued customer. I will keep coming back!
