Do not shop at Quarter Note in Apex. They have the worse customer service. They over charged me for reeds by $13. When I went to get my money back, they said they do not give refunds. I told them they over charged me, but all they could say was sorry. They never give refunds and they charge what they can for reeds. In this case $50. Music and Arts have the same reeds for $32 minus tax. Never heard of any business not accepting a refund. Plus over charging for the same product as the store down the road. Would not even refund the difference in the overage. They are happy to take your money. But you will grossly over pay and not be told of the no return policy until after the credit card goes though.
I had really high hopes when I made an appointment for my husband to get lessons here. A series of lessons was a gift to him and we were both very excited for him to get started. When I scheduled the lessons I was told that there was a change in instructors but that everything would be set up by the time my husband started. On the day of his first lesson, my husband arrived a few minutes early and signed in. As other students walked back for their lessons to begin, he continued waiting. After asking in the front, he was told that they did not know where the instructor was. More than 10 minutes into the lesson they were able to locate the instructor, who apparently did not even know that there was a lesson scheduled and was sleeping in his car outside.I wish I could say that once the lesson started, everything was OK. You would think that first lesson would be about getting to know the students, where they are, and their goals. After playing a few notes, the instructor spent the majority of the time writing down notes for my husband to practice at home. The lesson itself was already shorter as the missed time from the beginning was not made up, and so between that and the instructor writing, my husband only played a few notes for the entire lesson. My husband is so generous that he is the kind of person who will keep an incorrect order in a restaurant, so that tells you how bad it was. Even when he knew I was going to call, he just wanted to make sure that the instructor wasnt going to get fired. Given how expensive the lessons were, I called to resolve the situation the next day. When I called to say that we wouldnt like to come back, I was informed that it is not their policy to give refunds. Having people pay upfront for lessons that clearly do not meet expectations is a scam. After pressing, I was told quite rudely that they would go above and beyond and refund that one lesson but that they would not refund any remaining lessons so we could continue or lose all the money. To me, it is certainly not going above and beyond to refund a customer when your place of business doesnt meet expectations. I would certainly not recommend lessons here.
The team at Quarter Note always goes out of the way to meet my needs and make sure I am satisfied with my product. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable!
Very nice store, friendly staff, top notch music teachers. Perfect for the student musician.
Nice store. Always out of stock on whatever I want though.
Rude! They are really rude to their customers. All they care is to sign the contract. Worst service we ever have.
Great place and great teachers
