When I first went to Hendrick Toyota of Apex to shop for a used 4Runner, I was a but skeptical about purchasing a vehicle from a big dealership as it was my first time shopping at one. That skepticism went away the moment I met my sales representative, Raphael. Unlike car salesmen Ive deal with in the past, Raphael didnt try to pressure me into buying a car or try to up-sell me once. Instead, he listened to me and what I was looking for, and showed me a handful of vehicles that fit the description. He was happy to answer all my questions and if there was something he didnt know off the top of his head, he promptly found the answer for me or directed me to the right person. Once I found the perfect car, he was more than happy to work with me on the price and make sure all my needs were met. I also worked with Michael the finance manager, he was super friendly and helped me get an excellent loan with all the coverage I needed.Both gentlemen were also more than happy to assist me with a couple of minor issues a few days after my purchase (the bank I was taking a loan out from needed a different form of proof of address, and then one of my emblems was crooked). Jennifer Stern was excellent to work with. We had not planned on purchasing a new vehicle, but after our old vehicle was totaled, we found ourselves needing to research and buy something quickly - not easy given the supply chain issues, chip backlogs, and general lack of vehicles on lots nowadays! We knew we wanted a hybrid, but we also wanted to test drive one, first. After searching around online, and calling many dealerships within an hour or so drive away, we reached Jennifer here. Most other places didnt have any unsold hybrids to test drive - and wouldnt for quite a while. Jennifer was creative and thought outside the box, checking to see if any of their service departments loaner fleet had a hybrid in the model we were interested in. Bingo! After heading to Apex to talk more with her, and drive the loaner hybrid, we also lucked out in getting one of the few hybrids in a model and trim we liked that was already on its way from overseas, but that wasnt a pre-order from another customer. Unfortunately, it wouldnt arrive for about a month. Hendrick Toyota of Apex came through, yet again, when we worked out an arrangement for us to pick up a loaner vehicle for the 2-week gap between when our new car would arrive and when the rental covered by insurance would expire. Then, to top it off, we were able to fill in many of the forms online before coming in to officially buy our new vehicle. This saved us a lot of time, so that whats usually a lengthy process wasnt. I think this is the fastest weve ever purchased a vehicle - and Jennifer made it so easy!

They must do things differently here in NC. Back in GA if I went to the dealership for a service they vacuum the car and wash it. Not here apparently. However the staff was very kind and professional and they had me in and out quickly. Not too worried as the vehicle was relatively clean when I dropped it off to begin with but its nice to have that little something extra as an incentive to bringing the vehicle back to the dealership for service over a random service center. Overall Im still very satisfied but nothing to write home about.

I had a exceptionally good experience at Hendrick Toyota Apex recently and in comparison to other dealers that I had talk to on the telephone they were a completely different type of dealer. I had extremely fair pricing under the circumstances and the car even came in sooner than was originally promised. They found the exact car I was looking for and gave me an extremely good value for my car as a trade-in. Went to get free oil change and tire rotation, having paid the extra $2000 for free service, and for an inspection. Was informed that 4 new tires were necessary to pass inspection plus alignment, coming to $900. I talked to the service adviser about just doing two tires and asked if that would be around $400-450 because that is what i could afford. The service adviser agreed. However, at checkout, my total was over $600, and the adviser said there was nothing he could do about it, despite quoting me $400-450. I was also there for three hours.

So I just bought a preowned 2013 Lexus ES hybrid and my sales rep. Shiv Patel, was the best. I gave him some ideas of what I wanted and he found something I fell I love with. Great service experience. Made appointment online - seamless experience. Marcus (Service Manager) got me checked-in on time and reviewed planned service and estimated charges - took just a few minutes. Everyone interacting with customer were wearing masks. I thought I needed to have coolant flushed and replaced - they checked service history of my vehicle and let me know this had been done previously, about two years ago at another dealer, and did not need to be done. Had 120k mileage service, and had them check function of A/C. They did not charge to diagnose A/C because they didnt find any issues. Honored a coupon that I had. Finished all work in less than two hours. Check-out was easy too. Marcus was great to work with. Will be returning for future service needs.

WARNING: NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR OR DO BUSINESS AT TOYOTA OF APEX!! PERIOD!!Apex Toyota tried to nickle and dime me. Apparently Toyota of Raleigh and Apex don’t talk to each other. I got majority of my concerns taken care at the Raleigh location. I went to Apex because Raleigh didn’t have any availability this week and my car was due for inspection. Apex says I have 20% battery life left and it’s highly recommended to get it replaced.I checked my records and I had the engine filter changed in March. I called Toyota of Raleigh and they said that filter should be changed every 30K. I even asked the MF at Apex if he physically looked at the filter. He said yes and it was dirty. I know damn well I didn’t put in 30K since March. BTW, the picture of the filter that the mechanic said it was dirty, has been posted. I wasn’t born yesterday 🤷🏻‍♀️It passed inspection and 75K service which was only tire rotation.

I have found my car repair place. Ive been to several car repair places and many of them disappointed me in timing of service or once breaking my dipstick after checking the oil and not telling me! Hendrick Toyota has everyone else beat (from the ones Ive been to.) Everyone is polite, thoughtful and efficient. There are ample seats to wait for your car, clean bathrooms, free coffee, and seats with tables if you want to use your computer. The customer service agent told me the time would be about 40 minutes more and ended up being only 10 minutes more! How often does that happen? My seat and steering wheel were sanitized before I got in the car. The service was great and my car got a free washing too. Thank you, Tim.

All of the Hendrick Toyota of Apex team were great. Our product specialist was Shiv Patel and it was a real pleasure working with him. Shiv happily answered all of our questions and was patient with my wife and I as we second guessed ourselves as to which vehicle we were interested in every time he would locate us something to test drive. He would always answer my calls or call me back promptly, even if he was off the clock, and he was never pushy or disengaged. Unfortunately, the market for new cars is very tight right now due to supply issues and we ended up purchasing from another dealer outside of the Triangle only because they happened to have the car we wanted in their dealer network when we visited. Shiv and Hendrick actually found me the same car within 24hrs, but I had already put money down at the other dealership to avoid missing out. Even so, Shiv was very understanding and said he enjoyed helping us and looked forward to the opportunity to do so again the next time we are looking for a car. I absolutely recommend shopping at Hendrick Toyota of Apex!

My wife and I just bought a `21 4Runner and had a great experience. Our salesperson was Sophia Flores and was very pleasant to work with. Great listener--she zerod in on exactly what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. We didnt feel any sales pressure and she was very responsive to all our requests. We were super pleased with what we were able to get especially considering the current supply situation. Tim from finance was also very pleasant to work with. The finance side was presented transparently.Overall, the entire process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Wed definitely recommend them and the dealership. Weve only had the new vehicle a short time but were very pleased with it.
