This place offers a little of something for everyone. Table top, video games classic and current. MTG, frisbee golf. There are hand made wooden crafts some are painted, DVD/Bluray, and figurines. The gentleman running shop was very friendly and knowledgeable about products carried. Are you going to sit down for a table top game? No. A round of Yugioh or MtG? Doubt it. But you will be me with friendly service, a selection of items not likely to be assembled anywhere else.

A small but extremely handy game store, that seems to carry a little bit of everything. Theyre the only place nearby that carries Keyforge, and their center island is dominated by competition frisbees. Like a said, theres a little bit of everything.

I really only shop for discs here but they have something for everyone in my family! My sons love the card games and discs, my wife loves the crafts and board games and I love all of the discs they have in stock! Eric is extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it comes to everything he sells! He is great at making recommendations and has been instrumental in building my disc golf bag!

I have know the owners of this shop about 21 or 22 years and they are the best people to buy anything you need as long as they carry it I would go anywhere else these people actually play the games they didnt just open it up to make money they do it for theyve of all the games they play and carry thats why I choose to stay with them besides the fact that Eric is the nicest most understanding owner I know. they will be honest if you need to trade in cards look no further they pay very well. i dont know what else to say dont waste your time at any of the other shops in Lake county this is the show to go to. they care!!

BEST GAMING SHOP PERIOD!! The staff is extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable plus they will go out their way to make sure you are taken care of. Been going there for at least 15 years and recommend it to all my friends and anyone who loves gaming.

Blown away by the selection of Disc Golfs at this location! Eric who assisted us was very friendly and very knowledgable of the variety of products in the store and took the time to help and inform me of any questions I had. Will definitely be coming back to this location!

Extreme Games is awesome. I buy many Yu-Gi-Oh cards for my cousin Otto to use it for his deck for his card collection.

I’ve been shopping with them for nearly half a decade now. Love them. I can’t speak to their in-store presence but online they’re fantastic. Wide selection and always prompt on shipping and service is always exactly what I need if I have an issue; they’re always willing to help and quick to solve any issue. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Guy at the counter was rude and refused to let me my girlfriend AND my 2 year old son in without gloves. I completely understand a mask but refusing entry until a 2 year old child has gloves on is unbelievable. On top of that the guy at the counter was not helpful with any of my questions. Will never shop there again.

I want to support my local game shop but its hard to do when they get their supply directly from the pokemon company, but price gouge and sell at eBay prices (3x the retail price).Editing my review down to 1 star. I left a comment on their Facebook page asking why they dont charge retail prices on etbs that just came out (nothing rude) and they deleted my comment and blocked me from the page. Very poor customer service. I have spent over $500 there in the past year and my husband and I will no longer shop there going forward.Market value is driven by people with bad intentions hoarding boxes. You buy it at wholesale price, so youre no better than the scalpers and you ruin the fun of the game.I never minded spending a few extra dollars here and there to shop local before poekmon cards blew up, but I will not support your greed.

Just went to check out the shop because I was in the area, and I have to say it looks amazing! Everything was nicely organized and prices were very fair as well. Will definitely be trying to get here to play on a casual level. Overall one of the better card shops I’ve visited.

At first impression this store is a lot bigger than most MTG stores I have been too and the selection seems a lot better. While the cards seemed to be over priced versus online card sellers, this is common with local card shops. The reason I give this store a one star is purely based on customer service. I did not get the name of the lady who was working, but she was very rude and seemed genuinely upset that she had to be there working. She spent most of her time loudly talking to her coworkers versus helping customers. A major reason why people shop at local shops and pay more is because of customer service. When my fiancé and I went to check out we were initially unaware of the $10 minimum on debit cards. The lady working rudely informed us $10 minimum, $10 minimum We do not carry cash so we offered to keep looking to see if we could find anything else. As we are looking and trying to make a decision she comes over to us and loudly exclaims, are you guys going to actually buy anything because I cant have you tying up my register. My friend who shops at here regularly said she might be the owner. Thats a real shame if so, I would definitely expect better. As the general manager of a large clothing retailer I know poor customer service and this lady is really really bad. I would have bought a lot but instead I walked out and he uncomfortably made his $10 purchase. We will never be coming back.

The staff here has been nothing but fantastic, the judges are all up to date and you will not find a place with more competitive prices. The player base is friendly and competitive. I drive an hour each way every week past other stores just to play here fantastic store

Small store, with a fair game selection. The magic card selection is also fair. The small selection of used video systems & games was also worth a look. I do not follow all the newest colectable fig/card games, but a lots where around tye counter. Dice?? They had all the basics, in the front corner, good choices- cheep to fancy. I did not play on a game day, but the staff was helpful and knew about the games I inquired about.

Have yet to visit the new Antioch location, but when they hosted Pokemon Guardians Rising Pre-Release Tournaments, that was some of the best fun I have had in ages! Overall clientele and staff support is amazing! Looking forward to visiting this new location soon!

Xtreme Games is known for its great customer service. As an employee here I take pride in serving our customers. I was working when Sean Berry came into the store. He was negative the whole time he was here. Shannon (the rude lady that helped him) is the owner of the store. I was standing next to her the entire time she was helping his fiancé. Not once was she rude to them. We also have a $10 minimum sign in FRONT of the register. Some people are just naturally unpleasant to be around. Its a shame that a manager of a store would make up such a story for a review.

We absolutely love this store! Were from Twin Lakes, WI and were looking around for a store that sells Yugioh cards with a decent selection as well as a good selection of Pokemon cards. This store has both, and after visiting 4 other stores (not including Target and Walmart), we were so happy to find these guys. Theyre super helpful and they also have an online store that can ship to you if you dont wanna make the trip. This has become our go-to store. Very recommended.

I was greeted kindly and helped the whole time i was in the store...i just started playing Magic again, so i had tons of questions...the staff was knowledgeable and patient...Their prices were good (i bought in bulk)I liked the setup of their store...top notch in my opinion...

Really nice store. Very large gaming tables and many individual cards. My only complaint was the employees (and others) were smoking right outside the door. It was a nice day, so they kept the door open. The smell came into the store and was really annoying, even after they stopped smoking. Wish they would have gone to the back. They should remember kids are playing there. My kids were there and they complained. Probably wont go back there just because of the second hand smoke.
