I had this company come out one month ago for an estimate on a re-tiling of my shower. As of this posting I have been completely ghosted by them. I followed up twice to check the status of my estimate and nobody calls me back. This was a highly disappointing experience and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have only positive things to say about Jim and his crew. They just installed a hardwood floor in my office and over 100 sq yds of carpet on our second floor and stairs. From selecting the carpet and wood, to scheduling, to installation...everything went smoothly. I appreciate that Jim really took time to educate me about options when I was selecting materials. We will be having other wood flooring in our home refinished soon, and I am happy to know he will take good care of us!

We have worked with Jim Ambrose and his crew on several home projects. He put in our wood floors 15 years ago and did a beautiful job on our living room, entryway, hallway and stairs. They still look like new. A couple of years ago, Jim helped remodel our bathroom. We took out our tub and shower unit and put in a larger shower in its place. Jim tiled the whole thing and was even able to match the shower to our new granite countertop. Our kitchen floor was replaced with ceramic tile - absolutely gorgeous. Jim is very honest and will help guide your choices without being pushy. We would highly recommend Ambrose Tile and Carpet.

He is meticulous about every detail of his work, and stands behind everything he does. In my 28 year career as a custom home builder we have won many awards together including many Gold Key Awards, Parade of Homes, and Tour of Homes Awards a big part of winning all the awards was because of Jim, In one the homes I built I needed to select all the tile and carpet for an award home. I told Jim he should select everything, he did, it turned out beautiful. The one thing I miss after retiring is working with Jim on custom homes. We are incredibly happy with the kitchen updates Ambrose Tile and Carpet just completed! Jim was very knowledgeable about countertop and backsplash tile options, as well as patient in answering my questions. The workers arrived on time and were courteous. Jim installed our backsplash tile himself and did a beautiful job; the mitered trim tiles framing all the subway tile edges were a perfect finishing touch! We have hired Jim Ambrose for ALL of our flooring needs for many years, now. His work is second to no ones, and his pricing is better than literally everyone in and around my area. Jims attention to detail is legendary.Our most recent project with him was a tile shower and bathroom floor. My wife searched tiled bathrooms online for weeks looking for the perfect bathroom to copy. We never found an entire bathroom online that met all of our needs and wants. But, each time she looked at a picture and saw something she liked, she saved it to her phone. After saving several pictures containing something she liked, she shared them with Jim, and he was able to custom build us the perfect bathroom incorporating each of the things we liked, and nothing we didnt like. It was very cool.Because Jim his gotten to know us through all of our many projects, he understands what we like and dont like. This has made it possible for him to generate several options and choices regarding how to proceed. He has offered suggestions that we never would have thought of, yet absolute love. Once we have everything figured out, the projects all go super fast. Everyone working on the project is pleasant, polite and friendly, as well. Jim and his team have truly delivered on his promise to create and build the perfect bathroom, for us. We cant wait to need something else done around our house!!If you have some flooring needs, you owe it to yourself to give Jim the opportunity. We built a custom home in 1982. Jim Ambrose did all the tile work in three bathrooms (both floor and shower areas0, installed our hardwood floor and installed all our carpeting. His work is impeccable. Since then we have had occasion to replace carpeting, refinish hardwood floors and put a heated tile system in our master bathroom. Jim and folks at Ambrose Tile & Carpet have always done this work. They provide a very competitive quote, have great service, are prompt in getting the required work done and always stand behind their work.
