Brought my truck in for a check engine light. Off the bat my service professional, Oscar, was welcoming and assured me he would take care of any issues. I told them my warranty was about to expire and I wanted to make sure anything that was wrong or potentially wrong with my truck got fixed. They negotiated with my warranty company and not only fixed the check engine issue…they also discovered a leak and found my control arms needed replaced. Oscar was up front and honest with pricing…I also wanted to get some 100k mile services. He let me know which services I should go for first on a budget. And let me know others were not as necessary for at least another month or two. Overall my truck had several repairs and services done to it. I feel as if I brought it to the dealership I would have been without my vehicle for a week! But they took my truck in on Thursday and had me back on the road by early Friday afternoon. I was impressed to say the least. Will definitely be coming back for the rest of my services needed. And I now know where to take my vehicle in the future if I ever need a mechanic again. A+++

5 stars auto shop for transmission services! I got my transmission rebuilt here, the staffs are very helpful and professional. Most importantly, they are really patient and knowledgeable when you ask questions about transmissions. Very nice people and great service! Solid work too. definitely would recommend this place to my friends.

I took my 2013 Chevy Malibu in to Aamco to have them diagnose an overheating issue I was experiencing. Oscar was very nice and very good at explaining the issues in simple terms for me, someone clueless about cars. I had my thermostat, drive belt, and leak in my coolant system fixed. All parts used were original Chevy and the overall price with labor was fair. I will definitely be coming back. Great, friendly, laid back service. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the rebuild on my Suburban. The process was very simple. I gave it about 2 months before I did the review to make sure everything was working properly. I have yet to pull a trailer with my suburban but will soon. Overall I went with Aamco Transmission in antioch because of the reviews and they gave me a fair price and did a quality job with warranty. I will be coming here for all my transmission needs.Update 6 months later: took a trip across the US after the rebuild. Absolutely no issues and that was about a 3800 mile round trip. I am absolutely satisfied with work done at this business, also the owner was extremely courteous and went out his way for the customer service. I recommend this shop to anyone when I can

Oscar and his crew are professionals and know what they are doing, Oscar will explain the repair needed in detail so you fully understand whats going on. These guys are awesome - went to several nearby places for tune up and transmission service and they said it would be hours or days. I was heading out of town for July 4th and these guys took me immediately. From the moment I got there till when I left may have been about 2 hours, hugely appreciate these guys and they are awesome in every sense!

In needed a water pump put on my car. I was informed that AAMCO would do it for me. I called them and they were very polite. Gave me a time to bring my car in. They were done with it when they said they would be and my car runs so smooth now. I give these people a thumbs up. Very polite and professional. Just needed an air actuator replaced . Job takes a total of 3 hours. It took Em 3 days. ..and within those 3 days was quoted 3 different prices. I asked 3 times for a hose to be replaced and never was. vehicle was a absolute mess once I picked it up. dash board console was chipped in many places . strong smell of glue inside cabin . vehicle was filthy and garbage from repairs left inside . took me hours to clean vehicle after they were done. they obviously didnt know what they were doing . paid way over what the repair should had been . I obviously paid for what they didnt know . they took no responsibility . I could tell they glued dash, which means it cant be easily reopened now or if at all. wasnt worth it. they should had admitted that they didnt know how to do the job. it cost me time & money .. over 700 to install a 25.00 part . I just wanna finally add that the truck ran fine going in & now runs ruff as hell. Its also suspicious that I always leave it in 2 wheel drive & it was in 4.I just dont want anyone else to experience what I had. I hope this helps

I definitely recommend Aamco in Antioch for your car service. My check engine light appeared one day on my Mercedes C300. I had an extended warranty so that company referred me to Aamco because they had a national account and they were close to my home. I called them mid day in a panic and asked if they could get me in that same day and to my surprise they were able to accommodate me. My car ended up needing a Crank Case Ventilation Valve Replacement. They had to keep my car for a few days being that this was more of an extensive repair. The front staff had amazing customer service, they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, dependable and competent. Overall I had a great experience with this company.

I brought my car in to Aamco of Antioch thinking I had a brake issue. Jackie (service advisor) asked a few really good questions and he and the service team figured out that my brakes were fine but I had a serious safety issue related to the steering and suspension systems. They were able to fix it quickly and they worked with my extended warranty company efficiently so that I avoided having to come out of pocket on the repair. Also, since they told me my brakes were fine, they helped me save money on what would have been an unnecessary repair. These guys are great at diagnosing issues and working with you to make it as seamless as possible. They are also very professional and friendly. I will always use this place for my automotive needs

I was approx. 50 miles from home (I live in Fresno CA), when the check engine light came on and the car was shaking each time I stopped at a traffic light...from prior experience I knew most likely one of the coil packs had gone bad... looked for car repair places near where I was... Aamco was 7 miles away and I liked their online rating...called up and told them about my problem...they told me I could come by and that the repair would take approx. 2 hrs. I was informed of the price prior to the repair and was promptly called as soon as the car was done...Truly awesome service... I would give 10 stars if that was possible...highly recommend Aamco in Antioch to anybody and wish it was closer to home so I could get all my repairs done there....THANK YOU!!!!

My nissan transmission gave up and found aamco online. Called to make an appointment they told to me bring it now no need to make an appointment. Diagnosed same day and got brand new transmission installed 3 days later with 3 years warranty. Payment plan they offer is so helpful. My car runs like brand new again. Definitely recommended

I heard good things about this place, Im just disappointed that they wouldnt look at my car and said my OBD sensor needs to be fixed when my OBD is 100 % functional and told them that the problem with my car might be a mechanical problem so thats why it wouldnt pop up on their sensor.

Used aamco to get my tune up few month ago. Price was reasonable and it took them couple hours to get everything done. I only had friday off and it was nice to get everything done same day. Will definitely be back for the next service

Amazing shop! Jackie was so helpful even on the phone before I arrived and once I got there she remembers me and was so super friendly and quick to get me started. Just got an oil change but she informed me of other things to keep an eye on for the future, I really feel like they have my best interest at heart, this is an amazing shop and I highly recommend!

Had car towed to Aamco on e 18th st. Was afraid it could be an expensive transmission repair. Turned out to be a broken CV axle. Honest evaluation of the problem and repair at a very reasonable cost. I would pay extra to tow my car past other transmission shops to get it to Aamco!!!

Came on friday with online appointment and they were super busy. They took me in right away and service was done by end of the day. I will be back for sure to get my brakes done next month. Thanks

Stopped by today to get an estimate for replacing my front brakes and rotors. Manager was friendly and place looks like brand new. I was in this shop before when it was meineke. They gave reasonable price. I will go back to this place next time when i need service.

The owner and service here are great! He explained me everything he needed to do and why. They fixed my transmission with a sensor while the dealership told me it needed a new transmission. It was a lot cheaper than a dealership and I got 3 years/100k warranty. Thanks!

I took my Suburban to Aamco transmission shop.He looked at it and told me that I needed a new ignition switch.Thats why my truck would not change gears after 4 transmission shops told me that I needed a rebuilt transmission. they put a new ignition switch in truck drives fine changes gears great. Horrible experience. They charge me 2500 to get my transmission rebuilt and they did not test drive it. When I picked up the car they said it had been sitting since they finished it but it should be fine to drive. My 1970 Monte Carlo broke down on the side of the freeway.go somewhere else please.
