Hands down THE best place for all things poultry! Over the last 3 years we have ordered over 50 birds from them. We’ve only lost 3! They staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly! They have done 2 special orders for us and they have worked their butts off to get those orders filled in a timely manner no matter how busy they are! We get all our feed from them, and the quality of the feed is amazing, you can literally smell the quality difference from other big brands. I recommend them to every single person!

I love this place. Always friendly and helpful even though they are always BUSY! They treat every customer with respect. I drive from Mora just to shop there for certain items. Any birds I have gotten from them have been healthy and alert. Highly recommend.

Very busy place and tough getting on and off of highway 10 from their parking lot sometimes but their sales and service is top notch. We have bought many products from them over the last 5 years and I always feel confident with my purchases. They stand behind their products and I trust them. Ive purchased trees from them that have done very well through the seasons and look great. Ive bought several birds and they have a great selection. I like their home grown chicken eggs and animal feed and many other things. Always able to help me and answer questions. Highly recommended!

I’ve purchased over 20 healthy happy chicks from these guys over the last 3 years. This weekend, I had my first chick that failed to thrive (she wouldn’t eat on her own and subsequently died). The customer service I experienced from them was both compassionate and fair. You can tell these guys really care about their animals and their customers. I won’t purchase chicks from anywhere else.

We buy our chicken feed, supplies and chicks from Anoka Farm and Garden. The customer service is excellent and knowledgeable staff. Our chicks are now full grown and are healthy birds. We have also bought an ornamental landscape tree and other plants with great results. Thank you Anoka Farm and Garden for being our go to store for all our backyard mini farm needs!

Great place! I got many ducks and chickens for them the only thing is that are runner we got doesn’t seem to be quite full runner. But other than that they are great!

Stopped by to pick up a bale of hay and was 1) shocked at the price ($11) for grass hay. Ok....but when it was loaded it was a small square about 30lbs if that, which smelled ok but the contents looked like it was from last year! Granted we havent had rain for a few weeks but it wouldnt warrant how this hay looked. Brown and even some other debris was mixed in. What a aweful purchase. Will not stop there again.... Shame on the fact that you take advantage of the weather and dont take pride in customer service..

Today I went to this store and the chicks were not healthy, many that were clearly sick in the chick tanks. Also no one was wearing masks (employees or customers) or distancing. Really upsetting as I was planning on buying straw/feed and a few chicks, but didnt feel safe and didnt want to buy sick chicks, and had to leave with my upset kids. We were the only ones in the store wearing masks.

Super nice staff got helped right away . Enjoy all the birds they sale . I bought a adult duck and just love her . There birds are in good condition. Will go back if I ever need more birds .

As a single man I find that this is one of the best places to pick up chicks in my area.

I got 4 ducklings and 6 chicks on my birthday, it was my first time shopping here. The following few days 4 of the chicks passed away. I was/am so heart broken, I had never lost any chicks until this batch. I contacted store staff and was told they were a bad batch of chicks and they would replace them and asked me to call. I have since tried calling, messaging, and emailing and never get an answer, reply, or call back. Im really disappointed, I had such high hopes for Anoka Ramsey Farm and Garden and had looked forward to picking up my order for nearly 2 months only to be sold sick birds.

I genuinely do enjoy their selection of birds, and seeing the seabrights and seremas when Im there always brightens my day! The barn cats are so darling. I have bought chicks here in the past and they turned into beautiful hens. I was, however, disappointed by the living situation a lot of the chicks had. I saw dead chicks being trampled by the live ones, ducklings with no water, and a few that looked sick. It was depressing as hell. Also, no one wears masks in this store, including the employees, which is against the law.

Friendly family run place, prices can be a bit high, and theres often sick or dying looking chicks in the brooders but maybe thats just part of the game 🤷🏼‍♀️.... Employees are super helpful with all my dumb newbie chicken owner questions etc.. :)

I bought my super healthy happy chicks here. The man that helped me was very patient, and knowledgeable. Even though I was slow to decide the quantity of this breed and that breed to choose from. I have restrictions in my city as far as quantity goes. Its a great place to get a variety of breeds without any minimums. At the time they had over 25 breeds to choose from. If I could have bought more then I definitely would have.

Anoka Ramsey Farm and Garden is the place to buy all your chicken supplies! If you are just starting out with chickens they will walk you through the process and answer all your questions. Then you will be back to buy supplies and just talk chickens. All the employees are extremely friendly and will even carry my heavy items to my car. Absolutely love the service at this store. It is well worth the drive to check it out.

Very pleased with Anoka Ramsey Farm and Garden. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very surprised to find some of the rare and unique poultry breeds offered here. Prices are very fair when you consider shipping and loss potential from the larger hatcheries.

The most AWESOME farm and feed store ever there was and is!! They have it all and...they are the nicest people. Not to mention very knowledgeable.We drive an hour and 15 minutes to buy our supplies there. Totally worth it.

The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable especially since I am a first time chicken owner they answered all my questions. And didnt give me any issues when I had really stupid ones. I would highly recommend them for all your chicken and duck Lauder garden needs. I will most definitely be back for my future bird needs.

Amazing!The price for the baby chicks is AMAZING!And it’s very close by!I have 2 chickens but sadly one of them died yesterday :( she was pretty grown up but the other one is fine!To be honest I don’t blame them for giving me a chicken that was diseased.She had cancer so I had to put her to sleep.But aside from that amazing prices and the people working there know a lot and are very friendly

I had a perfectly healthy flock and bought birds infected with ILT from Anoka Farm and Garden. Sadly not realizing how sick the birds were I was subsequently responsible for spreading it to my main flock on clothing or shoes. I lost my whole flock, had to kill them all and burn the bodies. They denied and denied, I would never buy a thing from there again.

These people are great. I started my first flock of chickens last winter, they were there to answer all of my questions and give me advice with out making me feel stupid.( I had no idea what I was doing.)

Friendly, kind and helpful staff. They knew the right follow up questions to help me make the right decisions when buying chickens. Also provided tips of the trade that I didnt think about.

I want to edit my review I gave last week, their customer service is excellent and I shouldnt be blaming them for the dirt that they got from someone else, they went out of the way to compensate me and Ive never had a problem with anything else I bought from them, so for this reason Ill change my rating from three stars to five stars and I will use them again.

We got food for our chickens and were and to also pick up Guinea chickens. That are always helpful and knowledgeable with any question ask.

Bought 10 chickens from them. 5 died. Did everything by the book. Seems they were way too young and diseased. Must have received a bad batch. The staff was very pleasant however.
